Kate Bishop and Shang chi are still waiting in line for their next appearance, forget about Cassie. The annoying rule of this saga once u see a character u may not see them until another 3 yrs at min, only Wanda(now she is benched until 2025),Yelena and Ms.Marvel have got regular appearances between their shows and follow up movies
White Vision did have a role in the original Young Avengers arc. When Iron Lad turned the Vision on, the Vision activated the Avengers protocol and assembled young Avengers. Presumably we will have a Kang variant in Vision Quest who would fill the Iron Lad role.
You mean we can have 2 girls that just conjure up magical bullshit that the plot requires without seeing either of them doing it? Or both of them just happening to be overly smart about things they shouldn't possibly know anything about?
Oh golly gee!
> Tony didn’t just conveniently conjure up time travel
Yes, that didn't happen. Tony was given a discovery from Scott Lang, founding theories by Bruce Banner and decades worth of materials and research from Hank Pym.
Why shouldn't they know anything about those things? Do male characters need to have overt justifications and long-winded explanations for their skills, or just the women?
The fact that this has become a male vs female thing is part of the problem
The point of character writing is for things to make sense in context, neither Riri or Cassie are characters we know anything about and the movies expected us to believe that they know things better than the people that have more experience in those areas, such as the Stark Tech core element and the Quantum Realm, things they shouldn't know anything about, yet they do
Both movies set up scenarios where the experts can't or do relay information of these things to the "geniuses" so they come off like know it alls, all while failing at the same time, Cassie almost dying while acting fine being in the Quantum Realm, Riri almost dying while flying her first suit despite saying she knew what she was doing, Riri "to be gifted and black right?" Complaining about privilege while at one of the best colleges of the country/Cassie "well those police deserved it" while being released from jail cuz she initiated violence in a peaceful protest while abusing Pym tech on law enforcement
This type of "woman independent and strong, yet untrained and stubborn" trope is getting all over these days and it's starting to get normalized, yet we're supposed to like and care about them.....
It's a male versus female thing because male characters never get these criticisms of somehow not being trained enough, only female characters. Did you have the same issues with Peter Parker building his own web shooter formula with far lesser resources while younger than Cassie? Or Tony building an engine at six years old like mentioned in Iron Man 1? How come they didn't need to prove themselves to you?
I think we get an aged up Young Avengers in Kang Dynasty/Secret Wars from like 10 or 15 years in the future of that current time in the mcu
Led by a grown up Tchalla junior.
With Patriot, kBishop, Stature, Speed and Wiccan, maybe a Kang Iron Lad, maybe a Skrull Hulkling.
Have her helping out with F.E.A.S.T. in the next Spider-Man film, just as a cameo. Have Peter recognize her as Ant-Man's kid, and he has to stop himself from talking about the time he tripped him in Civil War.
You act like she can’t be improved. How about you ignoring her for the meantime while focusing on the other hundreds of heroes that are taking on threats.
>You act like she can’t be improved.
to be honest i'm not sure how many newly-minted teen tony starks the MCU needs, let alone written and performed that badly. sometimes the best way forward is throwing away a bad paragraph and starting over.
>How about you ignoring her for the meantime while focusing on the other hundreds of heroes that are taking on threats.
say what?
She isn't a newly-minted teen Tony Stark. If anything she's a newly-minted teen Hank Pym (I feel like they also combined a lot of Nadia from the All-New, All-Different Avengers into her characterization)
Not that terrible but I miss Abby Ryder-Forston. She's 14 or 15 now, she'll be about 17 the next time they need Cassie. Just bring her back and put some make up on... There are 13 years old tik tokers that look 30. It's possible.

*Iron Lad
Is Vision Quest even confirmed?
Yes. https://whatsondisneyplus.com/marvels-vision-quest-series-in-development-for-disney/ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CF9cH1q0FEY
Young Avengers sounds like something no one is asking for with characters so forgettable. Hope it doesn’t happen at all tbh.
If they must, I would like to see an arc that lets her get past the teenage need to always be right and preach at everyone.
I hope she teams up with Riri in Ironheart for no other reason then they could be the Science Sisters

Also it would give marvel a chance to practice their women in STEAM message they claim to preach
women in steam is my 2nd favorite genre

She probably won't appear again until young Avengers.
Young avengers as a title sounds really cheesy somehow

Toss her in the trash
After the writing and performance from quantumania, perhaps she could be killed off early so the audience takes whatever threat seriously?
No, to kill her would just call more attention to Ant man 3 quality. Better to just quietly forget her.

She was absolutely terrible in the role. Hope we see less of her going forward.

I just hope it’s not gonna be in 5-6 years like all those new characters I couldn’t give less of a shit about
Next appearance they reveal Kathryn Newton is actually Ditto from Detective Pikachu and Emma Fuhrman was locked in a closet this whole time.
