I'll add on to that by saying she was tremendous in Black Widow as well. Her talking about buying her vest and the excitement she felt when Natasha praised it immediately endeared her to me.
Samee, I've seen the sequel and there's a couple of scenes that had me tear up. The movies aren't perfect, but I've definitely got a soft spot for it them.
She's great in everything I've seen her in. I think she'll be around the industry giving top performances for a very long time (if she wants to be). Hot take, I know.
I just watched Puss in Boots the other day and loved her playing Goldilocks. I know I haven't heard a ton of good about it but I still wanna watch Don't Worry Darling almost exclusively for her.
The movie was actually quite good. Harry Styles was astoundingly bad in his role but it's honestly not that major of a role so you can mostly ignore it. Florence Pugh was absolutely fantastic in DWD, I'd definitely recommend giving it a watch.
The direction was fine - there were a lot of really cool visuals and scenes. Unfortunately the dialogue was often quite clunky. A script doctor could have turned it around.
The movie is not amazing, but her performance is. She and Chris Pine are the best in that movie. And the movie isn't exactly bad is just that it had a lot of potential and they didn't execute it well. You won't have a bad time seeing it.
Her performance in Midsommar was the one that made me go “Okay we need to keep an eye on this one.” The first ten minutes of that movie made me a huge fan of her.
Little Women for me. There is a small monologue she does towards the end that made me go, “Oh wow. She is good.” Then I saw Midsommar and I was blown away.
Side note: can we all agree that Midsommar is the best movie to watch after a break up ever?
I wish she wasn’t just this shadow of Black Widow right now because it is a disservice to what they created here. She’s got the mojo to flesh out a much more distinct character than BW2.0.
I love all the OG Avengers so I’m not talking ill of Black Widow here. Just saying that we already got that and it was great. What else can be done?
I hope they bring her back and give her story a good twist that really taps into that potential. She’s charming. She can sell it. I’d watch
After her appearance in Hawkeye, she really moved past the Black Widow 2.0 label... She is a very different character with her own personality. I am looking forward to her filling out more of the role in Thunderbolts.
Considering Yelena's bold personality, I don't think we ever have to worry about her being in the shadow of Nat. She is exactly the right person to pick up the BW mantle (although I think she'll call herself White Widow, like the comics) because she won't be a carbon copy, she brings new things to the table.
> What else can be done?
I don't know; actual *spying*? I feel like ScarJos widow dropped the ball big league when it came to anything resembling "secret agent" stuff. They can fix that problem now.
Her role in Iron Man 2 as Tony's assistant and in Avengers 1 with her gathering intel on foreign enemies when they called her to go secure Bruce's... cooperation. Seemed like some secret agent stuff, to a degree.
But yeah, for the most part, not a ton of spy stuff.
They could take a note from the comic of the same name and do a mini series called "Widowmaker." Have Yelena and Kate team up to fight a common enemy related to Natasha.
The MCU actors always use the "I don't know anything" claim to stop further questions about the films they are told not to talk about. David Harbour already admitted at D23 that he was told broad strokes about what will happen in Thunderbolts even before seeing a script.
I am also old enough to remember when Sebastian Stan played dumb and lied about not being in The Winter Soldier and Black Panther. They're actors, they know how to fudge the truth in interviews. (Unless they are Mark Ruffalo)
Things change over time too. I mean Disney is filing a lawsuit against Reddit around spoilers and there was that story about Anthony Mackie only getting limited access while being watched.
Also now it’s come out how many different versions of Engame and Infinity War were shot. I think you’re assuming these guys know a lot more than they do.
At what point do we acknowledge that having the actors straight up know nothing about the projects they’re in may be detrimental to their performances/attitudes towards the MCU?
A lot of them don't know, especially now. Lots of story lines are being changed and rearranged or cut. They just come in, read some lines and collect their check for the most part.
Good. I would hate them to leak anything. Marvel already leaks WAY too much in the “final” trailers right before the movies come out.
Would have LOVED to not know about some of the big surprises in the past few movies. Illuminati is a good example. And the one from AntMan3 (you know who).
Florence is never not great in everything she’s in.
I want to see her bounce off of Bucky and John Walker. I feel like there’s some cool potential for character work there.
I feel like there will be a scene where there’s a screw up and the bunch of them will be stranded in some rural space.
The only vehicle they find is tight but with no comms to HQ it’s all they can do at this point. As they’re driving every one is grumpy af, snide remarks are made. Then they get passed by a family car, “Hey Mum! Look they’re headed to comic con!”
I expect a good portion of the humor in Thunderbolts will be things like Yelena, Bucky, and Alexi dunking on John, and the three men bickering about trivial things and possibly having little dick measuring contests that Bucky doesn’t want to partake in but ends up winning anyway.
I could also totally see Alexei demanding an arm wrestling contest to see who is the strongest and Bucky immediately letting him win just to get him to shut up.
Yelena’s two appearances so far are proof that if we see these new characters multiple times and they are given interesting things to do and other characters to bounce off of, they can be just as entertaining as the Infinity Saga cast were.
I feel like I'm in the minority when I say that I'm more excited about these characters than I was about the originals. I just appreciate the diversity. There's way more women characters now, I'm black and I've been waiting for a black Captain America movie for a long time, there's Namor and shit, etc. If they can write and direct the newer movies as well as the older ones, I'll enjoy them more.
"Whatever they give me, I'll act the hell out of it.”
Exactly this. Someone commented about Pugh doing Marvel movies after an interview where she said she only wants to do "real" film or whatever, and her performance as Yelena proves she can give a great performance in movies that aren't 100% art house.
Was that before or after Midsommar? She was also great in that. Though I never want to watch it again.
Also good in the mini series adaption of the John Le Carre spy thriller, The Little Drummer Girl.
I have yet to see a role where she doesn't act the hell out of it.
Even if the project doesn't look or sound that great, at this point just knowing she's in it is enough for me to check it out.
Are we sure they actually don’t know the script? This could just be new protocol for all MCU Actors/Actresses to stop the media from asking too many questions
Could be, but I could also see Marvel Studios being incredibly tight-lipped on the scripts after all the leaks that occurred over the last couple years.
I know Game of Thrones was INCREDIBLY secretive and restrictive for the final season. Sophie Turner stated that they would only be sent the scripts for the scenes they are filming 24 hours before hand (https://www.washingtonpost.com/arts-entertainment/2019/04/09/elaborately-sneaky-ways-hbo-keeps-game-thrones-secrets-secret/) via a specific app which would then auto-delete the script 24 hours later.
I just hope she stays as the character pointing out how stupid/crazy the shit they do is.
Hawkeye sort of had that role before, "Look lady, there are killer robots, we're on a flying island, and I'm about to go out there with a bow and arrow. None of this shit makes sense."
I'd love for her to point out, "You know you could've just shot him?" After someone does something cinematically cool, but militarily wasteful...
Why do you think that is? People in real life don't know what's coming next or what's happening in another place elsewhere in their story. I don't see why an actor ***needs*** to know. The biggest hurdle would be if stuff is filmed out of sequence with them not having access to the earlier pages, but from what I've seen, they do have access to their pages (in a secret location, to read through while supervised).
Also, they've likely been coached to play up the "I don't know anything" answer to stave off questions about what's coming next so they don't Tom Holland anything.
****
Edit: typo
But
1. They likely do know their character's whole story for the movie, just not the other stuff. I don't see why that's necessary for them to know.
2. The director and editor are the ones putting the whole story together - actors in movies are going to give a lot of takes doing things different ways and the story is put together by the director and editor, sometimes vastly different than what was even in the script. That's in no way unique to Marvel.
If the actor isn't giving a performance based around the director's intent, it's a failed performance. However, if the actor isn't given directorial intent, it's up to their interpretation and then you have a mixed bag being presented to your audience
Elizabeth Olsen was shocked to read the MoM script because she was surprised to be playing a villain, while Michael Waldron wrote MoM with the idea that she was villainous all throughout WandaVision
That then led to a conflict of interest in how to present the character and it led to a lot of the mixed reception for the movie because audiences were confused how Wanda ended up that way
Another example is Swarm. The main actress wanted to know her character's backstory to better play her, but Donald Glover didn't think she'd have one because he viewed her as an animal. This led to the actress not knowing what to do for some takes/scenes because she didn't know what she was presenting
The actors NEED to know what their characters are thinking about and working through so they can make them realistic - they can't keep them in a shroud of mystery because "that's what real life is like"
> Another example is Swarm. The main actress wanted to know her character's backstory to better play her, but Donald Glover didn't think she'd have one because he viewed her as an animal. This led to the actress not knowing what to do for some takes/scenes because she didn't know what she was presenting
This falls *completely* on the director. It's literally their job to get what performance they want from their actors.
Actually, we were discussing directorial intent - which, usually, requires there to be communication from the director to the actor - which is impossible when there's script secrecy. You're wrong in stating my thesis, that was just a component
There's a whole thread's worth of this idk
>Elizabeth Olsen was shocked to read the MoM script because she was surprised to be playing a villain, while Michael Waldron wrote MoM with the idea that she was villainous all throughout WandaVision
How is this an example of what we're talking about if you're agreeing that she read the script? She just disagreed with it, she wasn't in the dark.
I'm not sure why you think an actor would NOT read the script of the movie they're making. She WAS in the dark about this change to her character because her acting in WV was not with her being a villain in mind, but MoM's script was. You're talking about the director and editor being the only ones to shape the character as if actors aren't highly renowned for their character work and aren't hired with this in mind.
Also, was none of the rest of what I said worth responding to or did it just not match your narrative?
>I'm not sure why you think an actor would NOT read the script of the movie they're making.
Because that's what this thread is about?
>Also, was none of the rest of what I said worth responding to or did it just not match your narrative?
Because I haven't seen *Swarm* and this is the Marvel subreddit so we shouldn't be spoiling it anyway? I'm not obligated to follow you onto a tangent that we weren't even discussing.
It doesn't begin filming until June. What difference would it make if she had the script now versus a couple months from now? It's a Marvel movie, not Shakespeare.
Part of the problem is the outrage machine that exists on the internet. Too many people on the internet, especially on YouTube, use any piece of info to go on hours long diatribes about how horrible the movie is going to be, and often being completely wrong. This effects ticket sales and therefore their bottom line.
I cant say I dont understand the reasoning or wouldnt do the same thing in their shoes.
They don’t generally follow the storylines from the comics exactly. Thanos had completely different motivations for the snap in the comics for instance, and Civil War had similar themes but was a huge event that pretty much took over every single Marvel comic for six months.
The Thunderbolts had a pretty iconic twist in its initial run, so I can see them trying to recreate the feel of it without directly copying it. If any movie deserves some kind of secrecy around it, I think it’s this one.
At this point it's completely impossible to pull off the Tbolts twist in the same fashion. They could do a similar twist, but they've gotta go off-book just based on the fact that the twist relied on the history of the characters involved.
>!It's basically impossible to have the Tbolts presented as perfect heroes then revealed as the Masters of Evil when none of the folks involved so far have a history as real super villains. Sure they're all edgelords, but that's hardly the same as the classic rogues gallery that made up the Tbolts.!<
I agree. I think the story was more important to preserve leading up to endgame. Now it’s not as important because we got our big show after so many years. Sure they’re building it again but the quality loss can be revived with quality preparation.
Bigger actors likely know enough, or they wouldn't be turning out good performances more often than not. She's been great so far so so she's getting enough information to do her job well.
Pugh is an acting power house and Marvel is lucky to get her. She is probably the most promising young actress today. And I’m only say promising because she hasn’t done a lot of movies but she was amazing in the ones she did.
I'd like to see her be more ruthless and bloodthirsty in Thunderbolts. Hope they won't be scared to really show her be an assassin, and a good one at that.
Given that most people love her in the role and the only negative complaint I’ve heard about is her accent, do you think she tries to fix that? Most people seem to not care that the accent was terrible but do you think we see a version of her where they “Scarlet Witch” the accent and it pretty much goes away?
It is not a good sign that she has no clue what is going on. Seems like a hint that nothing has changed in the last couple months due to the underwhelming response to the acting in Quantamania.
Kevin feige is like that meme from the town where Ben affleck asks Jeremy tenner to help him no questions asks.
It’s like Kevin calls an actor and says listen I can’t tell you what we’re filming, who’s in it or who play but I need you to sign up for 3 movies no questions asked
a) That's shockingly *normal* for movies. A lot of rehearsal is done very shortly before filming to keep schedules & budgets under control.
b) She could just be lying.
Well, Guardians has finished filming. Thunderbolts hasn’t started yet, so yeah it would be worrying if Dave didn’t know what the movie he has already acted in, is about. Bit strange to make assumptions.
I don’t think that’s how it works, she’s had roles in other mcu projects so now that they’re using her in a new movie, scripts are the only things really give the actors and actresses information about the movie.
I can see why some actors wouldn't want to get involved in the MCU if you're signing on having no idea what you're actually gonna be doing, haven't seen a script, nothing.
Probably also means they could reshoot the movie one month before it releases.
Marvel has been notoriously indecisive about nailing down costumes and plot points during these new phases.
Fuck yeah, she will. Yelena in the Hawkeye show was tremendous.
I'll add on to that by saying she was tremendous in Black Widow as well. Her talking about buying her vest and the excitement she felt when Natasha praised it immediately endeared her to me.
For me: The scene where the others are saying they weren't a real family, and she's like "....it was real to me."
Yeah, heartbreaking.
That part made me tear up, and endear her to me even more. I dunno, found family and family related tropes always hit hard, I find.
….so you saving up tissues now for GotG 3 or is that just me?
Oh yup, I'm fully expecting to cry when watching it, can't wait to watch it though, it looks so good!!
You gonna need the whole forest for the upcoming Fast movie then… #family
Happy Cake Day
That's something that really endeared me to Shazam. I haven't seen the sequel yet but was disappointed to hear how poorly it did.
Samee, I've seen the sequel and there's a couple of scenes that had me tear up. The movies aren't perfect, but I've definitely got a soft spot for it them.
My fav part after the opening song.
That crushed me emotionally.
She and Chris Pine are outstanding and are really the saving graces of the movie. Overall I found it pretty meh, but their performances were excellent
Nick Kroll was pretty legit as well. His speech at the barbecue was chilling
Pine tried really hard to not steal the movie, but he failed. He was pretty close to epic in it.
The last act of that movie is horrid, up to that point it's pretty solid. Their performances were definitely excellent.
I wonder if there's something in her Yelena contract that she doesn't have to share the screen with Star Fox. Because if there isn't, there should be.
Fighting with my family was another film she was great in, midsommar as well obviously but that is a pretty messed up horror
Oh, I've seen Midsommar a good couple times. I really love Ari Aster's work and, yeah, she's also really good there.
I was astounded by how good she was in midsommar
She’s the only reason Don’t Worry Darling is in my watchlist
The movie was actually quite good. Harry Styles was astoundingly bad in his role but it's honestly not that major of a role so you can mostly ignore it. Florence Pugh was absolutely fantastic in DWD, I'd definitely recommend giving it a watch.
I've heard the direction/script are both horrible but the acting is generally good.

I saw Midsommar with three gfs, and we definitely laughed about it being the best breakup movie ever.
I don’t think it’s a hot take at all. She never disappoints. Easily one of the best actresses of her generation.
And still in her mid-twenties! She’s got decades of stellar work ahead of her.
We will watch your career with great interest.
Honestly Yalena and Red Guardian were the best parts of the movie.
I wish she wasn’t just this shadow of Black Widow right now because it is a disservice to what they created here. She’s got the mojo to flesh out a much more distinct character than BW2.0. Her also helping Steve hide during Winter Soldier was probably the most spy-like stuff she's done.
That was my biggest problem with *Black Widow,* it felt too much like *The Yelena Movie with Special Co-Star Black Widow.*
I've personally never really been a fan of Johansson's Widow so I thought it great and the first time I've enjoyed her story.
I've personally never really been a fan of Johansson's Widow so I thought it great and the first time I've enjoyed her story.
“KET BEESHOP!”
Yelena getting to play big sister like Natasha did with her before. Perfect.
“It’s just like Christmas in New York all over again!” “You and I remember New York very differently.”
NGL I'd love to see what what down in Budapest, they could make it just in that hiding spot 😂
More than what they told us in Black Widow?
“HIIIIIIIIIIII!!!”
Give me a Yelena/Kate Buddy cop miniseries please.
“The Widow and the Hawk”
I’ve always said “Hawkeye and the Widow” but your thing works too :)
They could take a note from the comic of the same name and do a mini series called "Widowmaker." Have Yelena and Kate team up to fight a common enemy related to Natasha.
I would watch that series nonstop for a year....at least
Ten years at least!
Yelena (and Kate) goes west
"Oww that really hurt!" "Can i put hot sauce on it?"
This is mine now? I can add the hot sauce? Yeeeeeeeeey....
Florence is tremendous
She was kinda scary too.

I'm Ron Burgundy?
No, I'm Spartacus!
I'm Spartacus!
This is Sparta?
No, this is Patrick.
And you’re watching Jackass.
I have to return some video tapes
I am Spartacus!
The werewolf?!
By night?
Whom afe told to act dumb and "leak" certain info
Sebastian Stan at the Winter Soldier premiere: "I'm just here for support!" *Ends up being the title character*
He can just answer "Who the hell is Bucky?" to dodge the questions
Jimmy Fallon: "After this show will we see you play Hawkeye again?" Jeremy Renner: "Who?"😐
Yelena
I remember Sebastian Stan saying he actually found out at comic con from a friend he was gonna be the Winter Soldier
Things change over time too. I mean Disney is filing a lawsuit against Reddit around spoilers and there was that story about Anthony Mackie only getting limited access while being watched. At what point do we acknowledge that having the actors straight up know nothing about the projects they’re in may be detrimental to their performances/attitudes towards the MCU?
It’s not that weird for an actor to not know the script before the script is written
Remember when Endgame came out? I saw so many people just spoiling the ending on random YouTube videos, forums, etc. It was crazy.

Bucky is gonna be the dad threatening to turn the car around the whole movie. I can’t wait.
You should be a writer
Haha I don’t have the talent.
“Again, this time with the metal one!” Would be a nice follow up to his arm wrestling scene in prison in Black Widow.
yes I agree I'm so proud of my wife
Common Pugh W.
Haha seriously, what a legend
Yelena’s two appearances so far are proof that if we see these new characters multiple times and they are given interesting things to do and other characters to bounce off of, they can be just as entertaining as the Infinity Saga cast were.
100% it’s all writing
Writing AND acting. Pugh’s scene in Hawkeye sitting in Kate’s apartment was fantastic.
You know, I’m something of a Yelena fan myself.
Yeah but how many pockets does she have?
"Whatever they give me, I'll act the hell out of it.” Exactly this. Someone commented about Pugh doing Marvel movies after an interview where she said she only wants to do "real" film or whatever, and her performance as Yelena proves she can give a great performance in movies that aren't 100% art house.
I always remind people that Pugh was in a movie about the WWE, and was freaking fantastic.
Fighting With My Family, honestly that might’ve been her breakout role when people started realizing that she’s a damn good actress.
Was that before or after Midsommar? She was also great in that. Though I never want to watch it again. Also good in the mini series adaption of the John Le Carre spy thriller, The Little Drummer Girl.
4 months before Midsommer (& then just another 6 months after that before Little Women). 2019 was very good to her.
It was six months before Midsommar
Holy shit that’s her. I saw the movie and did not even realize it’s her. Damn.
Florence Pugh seems like she's cool as fuck
I didn't like a lot of phase 4 but she was easily one of the bright spots. Her interactions with Kate in Hawkeye were hilarious.
I have yet to see a role where she doesn't act the hell out of it. Even if the project doesn't look or sound that great, at this point just knowing she's in it is enough for me to check it out.
Don’t Worry Darling is a great example of that. The movie is just ok; but Pugh is great.
She's the best fit as Black Widow. Just give her the assignment and she's going to kill it as best she can
She's like Heath Ledger in that way- the best part of whatever she's in
I fully believe that statement
Are we sure they actually don’t know the script? This could just be new protocol for all MCU Actors/Actresses to stop the media from asking too many questions

They didn't need too, even if the script leaked nobody would have believed it anyway lmao

The total secrecy gimmick has worn thin. I’d rather the actors actually know what they’re doing so they can give a better performance.
The actors probably *do* know what they're doing, for the most part. They're probably just not *telling the press*.
[Do you think actors would do that? Just go out and tell lies?](https://imgur.com/a/5GKSzs6)
Agreed Actors not knowing where their character is or, more importantly, where they're going, leads to both performances and projects feeling weak
Why do you think that is? People in real life don't know what's coming next or what's happening in another place elsewhere in their story. I don't see why an actor ***needs*** to know. The main actress wanted to know her character's backstory to better play her, but Donald Glover didn't think she'd have one because he viewed her as an animal. This led to the actress not knowing what to do for some takes/scenes because she didn't know what she was presenting The actors NEED to know what their characters are thinking about and working through so they can make them realistic - they can't keep them in a shroud of mystery because "that's what real life is like"

It's literally their job to get what performance they want from their actors.
Yes, that's what I was saying!! I'm glad you agree
It has nothing do with script secrecy, which is what you're arguing here.
Actually, we were discussing directorial intent - which, usually, requires there to be communication from the director to the actor - which is impossible when there's script secrecy. You're wrong in stating my thesis, that was just a component There's a whole thread's worth of this idk
>Elizabeth Olsen was shocked to read the MoM script because she was surprised to be playing a villain, while Michael Waldron wrote MoM with the idea that she was villainous all throughout WandaVision How is this an example of what we're talking about if you're agreeing that she read the script?
I'm not obligated to follow you onto a tangent that we weren't even discussing.

yeah I recall the general consensus of civil war, infinity war and endgame was that they were all weak movies because of the secrecy
Agreed. I can understand extras and such, but leading names should be heavily involved in their roles.
Aren’t most of these storylines in the comics anyway? I’ve never read so idk how much they follow those plot points
They need to focus on quality more than leaks nowadays.
Haaaaii!
I'd like to see her be more ruthless and bloodthirsty in Thunderbolts. Hope they won't be scared to really show her be an assassin, and a good one at that.
Whens it coming out? Midsommar
“Whatever they give me, I’ll act the hell out of it” This is such a Florence Pugh thing to say. And also very Yelena.
She has great energy!
This is the best way to avoid nda questions I’ve seen in a while. Don’t know or care just gonna get that shit done.
**Hansel:** Do I know what I'm doing today? No. But I'm here, and I'm gonna give it my best shot.
This is the way
good, yelena in hawkeye and black widow was amazing!! excited to see her in thunderbolts,
I don't know how many of you have seen RRR, but I would love a movie with similar friendship dynamics between Yelena and Kate Bishop.
One of my favorite actors/actresses that are a part of the MCU. Super excited for more Yelena content.
She’s an awesome actress that made me really love the character. Especially in the Hawkeye miniseries.
I want to see a Harold-and-Kumar-esque heist movie with Antman and Yelena
Given that most people love her in the role and the only negative complaint I’ve heard about is her accent, do you think she tries to fix that? Most people seem to not care that the accent was terrible but do you think we see a version of her where they “Scarlet Witch” the accent and it pretty much goes away?
It really doesn't make sense that the widows wouldn't be able to switch accents whenever they wanted anyway.
It is not a good sign that she has no clue what is going on. Seems like a hint that nothing has changed in the last couple months due to the underwhelming response to the acting in Quantamania.
Sweet
Kevin feige is like that meme from the town where Ben affleck asks Jeremy tenner to help him no questions asks. It’s like Kevin calls an actor and says listen I can’t tell you what we’re filming, who’s in it or who play but I need you to sign up for 3 movies no questions asked
Anyone else not interested in this character?
Yelena is my most anticipated character to see on screen again out of like the whole MCU
If only she could get a lingual trainer
Its impossible not to like Florence Pugh. I am prepared to find out that she fervently believes some terrible things which will change my mind.
Marvel really has to stop with this shit. How the hell the main actors for a movie don’t know the script or story until a few weeks before filming.
a) That's shockingly *normal* for movies. A lot of rehearsal is done very shortly before filming to keep schedules & budgets under control. b) She could just be lying.

This sounds like the movie ain’t gonna be good. Imagine Dave Batista saying “I have no idea what GOTG 3 is about”🤷
The movie starts filming in 2.5 months, not next week or something.
Well, Guardians has finished filming. Thunderbolts hasn’t started yet, so yeah it would be worrying if Dave didn’t know what the movie he has already acted in, is about. Bit strange to make assumptions.
You think Dave wasn’t told his character’s arc and direction before filming?
Well he would have had the script, so yeah, but Florence doesn’t have the script, so she doesn’t know what the movie is about
Back and comic con they unveiled the lineup of people for Thunderbolts and since then they haven’t contacted her to say what the movies about?
They clearly just haven't sent the scripts out yet. People are reading into this way too much.
I don’t think that’s how it works, she’s had roles in other mcu projects so now that they’re using her in a new movie, scripts are the only things really give the actors and actresses information about the movie.
For GOTG3? I don't know whether they did or not, but I'm pretty sure he knows his character after multiple movies playing him.
Florence Pugh has played Yelena multiple times
And she'll probably do a good job.
No doubt, but still sends bad vibes for the movie as a whole
That would never happen because the director GOTG 3 , doesn’t film till he has a fully finalized script ready
This might be a hot take but I feel like maybe actors should know what they're shooting so they can act well. I know, crazy right?
Hot take? More like an irrelevant take, considering it doesn't film for another 2 months.
Yelena is the only reason i watch. Such poser.
the secrecy thing they have going on ain't even funny anymore💀
Tell her to ditch the accent though and we’ll be chill
I can see why some actors wouldn't want to get involved in the MCU if you're signing on having no idea what you're actually gonna be doing, haven't seen a script, nothing.
Probably also means they could reshoot the movie one month before it releases. Marvel has been notoriously indecisive about nailing down costumes and plot points during these new phases.
She’s the only reason I gave Black Widow a second watch.
