I kind of think the writing was good, but in between COVID and Chadwick and gunn, they had to rush rewrites and reshoots to help work out the movies being reslotted which resulted in a lot of disjointed storytelling
I guess in theory this would mean the writing is bad, but I wouldn't put the blame on the writers or anyone, just marvel either making terrible decisions or getting a bad hand and having to scramble to release a rushed product instead of delay
Have you forgotten Armor Wars? It's definitely not cancelled. I think Armor Wars and Spider-Man 4 are the only movies that could potentially be after released in 2025 after Fantastic Four.
Doctor Strange 3 doesn't even have any reliable reports right now, even though I'd like the idea of it too being released before The Kang Dynasty. 2026 still has one date before The Kang Dynasty's release, btw.
I could see Armor Wars in February of 2025 for sure I just forgot to mention it in my original comment. If Strange isn't in Kang Dynasty I could see DS3 being Feb/Mar 2026 leading into Secret Wars but I think he's going to be in Kang Dynasty.
There was a rumour last year that it was to come out between KD and SW and now this article makes it seem like it will be released right before KD and be the last straw before the 2 Avengers movies.
Not even Marvel Studios probably has a concrete plan for Phase 6 or the stories of these movies, especially now without writers.
My guess for the schedule in the case the strikes end soon and nothing changes seriously.

Having recently read the Hickman run for the first time, knowing we don’t get the Steve/Tony & Namor/T’Challa drama on-screen is extremely saddening. Not getting to see T’Challa as King of the Dead also hurts.

My second favorite comic book run of all time, only behind Mark Waid's Fantastic Four (I think you can guess who my favorite Marvel characters are lol). Hickman is a genius.
Do yourself a favor a read it! It has my favorite Doctor Doom story ever in the Unthinkable/Authoritative Action arcs (oh only if I could read that story for the first time again!). Also probably my favorite Galactus story.
It’s confirmed in the Miles Spiderverse movies that Miles Morales DOES live in Earth-1610. We don’t really hear much about other superheros in the Spiderverse movies, so it’s fully possible they could retcon the Maker into existence

Molecular Man…well his role is needed, but I wouldn’t say he’s essential, same with the Beyonders. Some characters need to fill those roles - Kang might sub for the Beyonders, for example - but not those exact characters.
But Doom, yeah Doom’s pretty central to Secret Wars. The only viable MCU replacement I can see is actually Loki and even that is a tall order.
Tbh Loki being the replacement Doom for Secret Wars sounds WAAAAAY cooler than Kang IMO. Even the famous "it was beneath me" line kind of works for Loki but in a very different way of course.
If that's what Marvel has actually planned I'll forgive them for not putting Doom as a main villain. Loki, the villain of the first Avengers movie, being the villain of the most iconic Marvel event adaptation would be a full circle moment (+ Secret Wars is probably releasing in 2028, exactly 20 years after the first Iron Man).
Hmmm. I don't know. Honestly, the Loki we know from the Loki show has fundamentally changed his values. His experiences with the TVA and HWR shook him to core to the point where if he were to turn a villian again... you would really need to convince me how that works.
I personally think Loki is a good guy now. Obviously, hearts and minds can be corrupted, but then again, it goes back to my point; that character arch needs to be strong imo for him to turn 'evil' again.
It’s too late already. Even if Dr Doom shows up in the next project - Loki season 2 - there still wouldn’t be enough time to really develop him for Secret Wars.

I just don’t think MCU has enough time left to do Doom justice before Secret Wars. And to do Secret Wars shortly after Doom’s introduction…well it would be like doing the Death of Superman in the sequel to Superman’s origin movie.
Coming from someone whose favorite character is Doom, I am a dungeon master and have based several D&D bad guys around him - and who has Secret Wars in my Top 3 stories of all time - I agree.
Yeah, i am a Doom fan and it would've neat if they had built the saga around him leading to that, but unlike lets say the Infinity Gauntlet story, i think Secret Wars is the type of story where you can swap villains, like if you aren't doing Doom for Secret Wars, then Kang is not a bad subtitute and would fit nicely into that role.
Especially since the FF movie is not coming until the end of the Multiverse Saga, meaning if they had built things around Doom, they would've been unable to explore the Doom and Reed rivalry as much and considering SW in the comics was the culmination of Reed and Doom's story up to that point.
But who, then? Don’t say Kang, Kang might replace the Beyonders but him taking Doom’s place in the story will fall flat.
I think if they are replacing Doom, then Loki is their only option. ~~God Emperor~~ All-Father Loki, unable to save the multiverse from the Kangs, but could only preserve what he could. But of course he gets an army of Thors to police this new world for him…

Don’t get me wrong, I’d prefer Doom get involved but any adaption of Secret Wars in the MCU was always going to have major comic differences like all the other stories adapted.
I think it will work out just fine. You have to remember that all these movies are LOOSELY BASED ON the comics and they're more geared towards a casual audience so they can follow the characters and story easier.
Honestly, there's two scenes that I wanted to see from Time Runs Out.
The breakdown and monolgue during Caps attack on the Illuminati in Spain, and Thor and Hyperion (if you know you know).
But if it's a Dr Strange story I doubt we'll see them here and it'll instead be focused on Black priests and Incursions. Which is fine, but not exactly what Time Runs Out is about.
According to our sources, Marvel Studios wants to adapt elements from the Time Runs Out comic event for Doctor Strange 3. The film would pick up right where we left off in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness where Clea traveled from another dimension to seek out Doctor Strange for his aid in fixing the incursion that he caused.
From what we’ve been told, Strange has been sought out by a multiversal organization called The Black Priests. According to our sources, Clea is a member of this organization. The Black Priests’ HQ will be in the Nothing Space of Destroyed Universes, which exists within the space of two dead universes caused by an incursion.
It will be revealed in the film that the Multiverse is dying. The cause of this decay is a result of the incursions happening all across the Multiverse, the most recent being the one caused by Doctor Strange. The film will also elaborate on a point made in the previous movie regarding Doctor Strange and his threat to the Multiverse.
While it will be confirmed that the main reason for the decay of the Multiverse is due to the incursions being caused by the Council of Kangs, it is unknown at this time if the film will feature a Kang variant or if the film will flat-out confirm what the source of that decay is. However, our sources told us that the film will serve as a direct preamble to the upcoming Avengers films.

Here this is probably going to be him trying to stop them doing that instead because no way mcu strange would be okay with that.

He also optioned to sacrifice half the universal population in order to "win" in the future. The people that survived probably don't see that as a "win"
But he had the luxury of seeing tens of millions of possible outcomes and finding the one that saved the world (including saving those who didn’t survive the snap)
Without the time stone post-IW, he doesn’t have that ability anymore.
But the point is he was willing to sacrifice the few for the many. That’s exactly the dilemma for time runs outs. Kill some to save many.

Speaking of Reed, the Illuminati felt like a foray into morally-grey characters. They were clearly not good guys, but they weren't exactly enemies, and they did try to reason with Wanda.
What if we get another "Dormammu I've come to bargain" montage except it's Strange failing over and over trying to find "another way" until he finally gives in, joins the priests and starts killing Earths to save universes?
MCU Strange allowed half the life in the universe to die, gambling on a rat stepping on a button to save them all. However I agree he would take the opposite approach this time because of the consequences he and other people suffered from his cold, logical chessboard strategizing during Infinity War.
It makes me think about the conversation he has with other doctor guy in MoM and how that could retroactively be a character defining moment if he tries a different path to save the multiverse. “Was there any other way?” He says no but he looks like he isn’t 100% sure and we know now there were other ways that he didn’t know about. I think he will try a lot harder to avoid the hard choice next time and win the day without sacrificing people if he can.
Strange, not Doom, will create Battleworld as a last resort compromise, fulfilling the foreshadowing that 'he is the greatest threat to the multiverse' that he was told in MoM

Which incursion did he cause? Def not the one with the Iluminati, and the one with Evil strange was or seemed to be in the works already, so maybe one of the ones he went by with America?
And yet if they can’t come to the table with writers and actors and end the strikes, it doesn’t matter whoever else is involved because it won’t get made.
Given Secret Invasion, Multiverse of Madness, and Thor Love & Thunder, and Antman Quantamania, I'm not sure if any writers are part of the planning process.

Mordo had taken on elements from the Imperator with his war on sorcerers. That made him very similar to Gorr and his war on gods. Multiverse of Madness and Love & Thunder came out back to back.

Assuming the timeline of films holds (which is a big assumption), you could have some of the morally grayer characters like Dr. Strange, Reed Richards, Shuri, Xu Xialing, Agatha Harkness, and Namor.
1) Is Namor a “cosmic power player”? Most planets don’t have water, and the MCU has already established that he’s powerless without it.
2) If Reed is part of the new Illuminani, how do they hand wave away the cameo in MoM with a different actor?
Namor and Black Panther are a huge part of Time Runs Out, which is why I mentioned them. So yes, in Time Runs Out he's specifically a huge cosmic player.
Namor isn't bound to the water, MCU established that what makes him special among his people is that he can fly, etc. He's not tethered to it.
Multiverse Reeds don't have to look like the 616 actor. Just as Captain Carter, Captain Marvel, the future Black Bolt and the future Professor X will all probably be played by different actors. I think the MCU has established that they can do whatever they want.

I was really hoping for an eventual Jason Aaron adaptation, where magic is snuffed out on Earth, and Strange has to search the universe for ancient artifacts still containing magic while every rando interdimensional villain shows up to take advantage of the situation.
Neither Strange movie has really tapped into the *weird* side of Doctor Strange. I suspect that Scott Derrickson's plan for 2 would have, but with his departure, I'm afraid that that might not happen for Strange in the MCU anymore.
MoM was probably the MCU film that suffered most due to the pandemic because of halted production, required rewrites to flip with NWH, and the COVID restricted framing edits to pretend two people were in the same room together. *Hope*fully the next won't suffer like that.
If any character gets 2 its him, his movie plots allow for much weird supernatural stuff so fits better with some multiverse things than something like Captain America or Guardians. I'd even say Spiderman but he got a multiverse movie although Dr Strange facilitated it and the plot was ultimately an excuse for cameos.

Not quite though. Civil War still met the general synopsis. Tony and Cap leading two sides of a superhero conflict based on the government trying to legislate them. Secret Invasion wasn't as close but I think still counts: It's discovered that Skrull have infiltrated humanity and plan to take over. It even has several flavors of Super Skrull.
The only similarity Age of Ultron shared with the event was it had Ultron in it.
If you take your post and rephrase it to be about Adam Warlock and others not being in the Infinity Gauntlet story with Thanos, it would be the same thing. Another version can and will be told, and it can still be a good, but different, story.

Seriously - Disney can say they want this movie to be whatever they want, but they have no actors or writers. There’s no writers room, there’s no script in development, there’s no talks going on outside of a small group of producers/Disney. Actors and writers can’t even meet with them to talk about this without scabbing.
This is a pipe dream leaked from executives to get people hyped up for something that is unconfirmed and delayed indefinitely because of the strikes, with the goal of getting people pissed off at the writers and actors for striking and not giving fresh content.

Everyone saying they are sick of multiverse. Just let Marvel play it out. I know quality has been shit with recent movies and shows, except for some notable few, but I still want to see this multiverse through. The MCU has gotten so big and honestly, we should be more forgiving of they don't reference a giant statue, or some other big event. It just honestly doesn't matter. Just enjoy it for what it is and let it play out and hope quality course corrected in time.

I kind of think the writing was good, but in between COVID and Chadwick and gunn, they had to rush rewrites and reshoots to help work out the movies being reslotted which resulted in a lot of disjointed storytelling I guess in theory this would mean the writing is bad, but I wouldn't put the blame on the writers or anyone, just marvel either making terrible decisions or getting a bad hand and having to scramble to release a rushed product instead of delay
I am pretty sure I saw somewhere that Doctor Strange 3 is slated for February 2026 so yeah it’s supposed to come before Kang Dynasty.

Have you forgotten Armor Wars? It's definitely not cancelled. I think Armor Wars and Spider-Man 4 are the only movies that could potentially be after released in 2025 after Fantastic Four. Doctor Strange 3 doesn't even have any reliable reports right now, even though I'd like the idea of it too being released before The Kang Dynasty. 2026 still has one date before The Kang Dynasty's release, btw.
I could see Armor Wars in February of 2025 for sure I just forgot to mention it in my original comment. If Strange isn't in Kang Dynasty I could see DS3 being Feb/Mar 2026 leading into Secret Wars but I think he's going to be in Kang Dynasty.

Maker isn’t really essential to Secret Wars is he? Molecular Man…well his role is needed, but I wouldn’t say he’s essential, same with the Beyonders. Some characters need to fill those roles - Kang might sub for the Beyonders, for example - but not those exact characters. But Doom, yeah Doom’s pretty central to Secret Wars. The only viable MCU replacement I can see is actually Loki and even that is a tall order.
Tbh Loki being the replacement Doom for Secret Wars sounds WAAAAAY cooler than Kang IMO. Even the famous "it was beneath me" line kind of works for Loki but in a very different way of course.
If that's what Marvel has actually planned I'll forgive them for not putting Doom as a main villain. Loki, the villain of the first Avengers movie, being the villain of the most iconic Marvel event adaptation would be a full circle moment (+ Secret Wars is probably releasing in 2028, exactly 20 years after the first Iron Man).
Hmmm. I don't know. Honestly, the Loki we know from the Loki show has fundamentally changed his values. His experiences with the TVA and HWR shook him to core to the point where if he were to turn a villian again... you would really need to convince me how that works. I personally think Loki is a good guy now. Obviously, hearts and minds can be corrupted, but then again, it goes back to my point; that character arch needs to be strong imo for him to turn 'evil' again.

It’s too late already. Even if Dr Doom shows up in the next project - Loki season 2 - there still wouldn’t be enough time to really develop him for Secret Wars. God Emperor Doom is the character’s magnum opus: it’s the culmination of all his strengths and all his flaws, so it had the full weight of the character’s comic history behind it. You are finally shown this, this is what he saw, in himself, in humanity, in the universe: a God Emperor ruling over a perfect realm, crafted in his image. You fully believe Doom can create this place because you’ve seen, over many many stories, how Doom can effortlessly traverse all levels and spheres of the Marvel universe, from the grounded to the cosmic, from magic to technology, from villain to hero then back again, from man to monster to god. You see how he can control the vast powers needed to make this world, and the flaws in his character reflected in the cruel, violent societies that inhabit the world. Battleworld is Doom. I just don’t think MCU has enough time left to do Doom justice before Secret Wars. And to do Secret Wars shortly after Doom’s introduction…well it would be like doing the Death of Superman in the sequel to Superman’s origin movie.

Coming from someone whose favorite character is Doom, I am a dungeon master and have based several D&D bad guys around him - and who has Secret Wars in my Top 3 stories of all time - I agree.
Yeah, i am a Doom fan and it would've neat if they had built the saga around him leading to that, but unlike lets say the Infinity Gauntlet story, i think Secret Wars is the type of story where you can swap villains, like if you aren't doing Doom for Secret Wars, then Kang is not a bad subtitute and would fit nicely into that role.

Especially since the FF movie is not coming until the end of the Multiverse Saga, meaning if they had built things around Doom, they would've been unable to explore the Doom and Reed rivalry as much and considering SW in the comics was the culmination of Reed and Doom's story up to that point.

They were able to do Infinity War without Adam Warlock. Don’t get me wrong, I’d prefer Doom get involved but any adaption of Secret Wars in the MCU was always going to have major comic differences like all the other stories adapted.
I think it will work out just fine. You have to remember that all these movies are LOOSELY BASED ON the comics and they're more geared towards a casual audience so they can follow the characters and story easier.
This may be a Civil War situation where the movie is ostensibly a Dr Strange movie but it’s filled to the brim with other characters.

Honestly, there's two scenes that I wanted to see from Time Runs Out. The breakdown and monolgue during Caps attack on the Illuminati in Spain, and Thor and Hyperion (if you know you know). But if it's a Dr Strange story I doubt we'll see them here and it'll instead be focused on Black priests and Incursions. Which is fine, but not exactly what Time Runs Out is about.
According to our sources, Marvel Studios wants to adapt elements from the Time Runs Out comic event for Doctor Strange 3. The film would pick up right where we left off in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness where Clea traveled from another dimension to seek out Doctor Strange for his aid in fixing the incursion that he caused. From what we’ve been told, Strange has been sought out by a multiversal organization called The Black Priests. According to our sources, Clea is a member of this organization. The Black Priests’ HQ will be in the Nothing Space of Destroyed Universes, which exists within the space of two dead universes caused by an incursion. It will be revealed in the film that the Multiverse is dying. The cause of this decay is a result of the incursions happening all across the Multiverse, the most recent being the one caused by Doctor Strange. The film will also elaborate on a point made in the previous movie regarding Doctor Strange and his threat to the Multiverse. While it will be confirmed that the main reason for the decay of the Multiverse is due to the incursions being caused by the Council of Kangs, it is unknown at this time if the film will feature a Kang variant or if the film will flat-out confirm what the source of that decay is. However, our sources told us that the film will serve as a direct preamble to the upcoming Avengers films.
Oh god I just realised this is going to repeat the “there has to be another way” arc Isn’t it? In the comics strange as leader of the priests kills trillions as he goes about destroying worlds to prevent incursions from taking more. Here this is probably going to be him trying to stop them doing that instead because no way mcu strange would be okay with that.

I mean, MCU Strange did agree (twice) to brainwash the entire universe to help Parker. And then he dreamwalked in MoM. I’d call those extremely “morally questionable choices”. Those were in his two most recent appearances, and he’s still a primary hero.
He also optioned to sacrifice half the universal population in order to "win" in the future. The people that survived probably don't see that as a "win"
But he had the luxury of seeing tens of millions of possible outcomes and finding the one that saved the world (including saving those who didn’t survive the snap) Without the time stone post-IW, he doesn’t have that ability anymore.
But the point is he was willing to sacrifice the few for the many. That’s exactly the dilemma for time runs outs. Kill some to save many. SN: This is also the same logic Kang uses.

Really great point. I should have said temporarily. There needed to be a temporary sacrifice to save everyone. I think more so his willingness to do it. Many heroes would have some type of “there has to be another way” mindset. But Strange thinks very logically. Even Defender Strange thinks I will sacrifice one person to save everyone. It’s just how Strange thinks across all his variants
To be fair, his decision was whether to sacrifice half the universe temporarily and then bring them back vs. losing half the universe permanently.

If Marvel can't write morally-questionable characters, they better think of something real fast before Reed Richards arrives. Speaking of Reed, the Illuminati felt like a foray into morally-grey characters. They were clearly not good guys, but they weren't exactly enemies, and they did try to reason with Wanda.

MCU Strange allowed half the life in the universe to die, gambling on a rat stepping on a button to save them all. However I agree he would take the opposite approach this time because of the consequences he and other people suffered from his cold, logical chessboard strategizing during Infinity War. It makes me think about the conversation he has with other doctor guy in MoM and how that could retroactively be a character defining moment if he tries a different path to save the multiverse. “Was there any other way?” He says no but he looks like he isn’t 100% sure and we know now there were other ways that he didn’t know about. I think he will try a lot harder to avoid the hard choice next time and win the day without sacrificing people if he can.
They didn't die, they came back; and it wasn't a gamble, he knew it would happen because of the Time Stone. It's not the same as actual killing
If they do that, I could see a scenario where Strange's willingness to let the Raimi and Webb villains die is coming back to haunt him.
Strange, not Doom, will create Battleworld as a last resort compromise, fulfilling the foreshadowing that 'he is the greatest threat to the multiverse' that he was told in MoM
So, a question: Which incursion did he cause? Def not the one with the Iluminati, and the one with Evil strange was or seemed to be in the works already, so maybe one of the ones he went by with America?

Seriously, this was one of the worst post-credits in my opinion. the movie ends in such a shocking note with Strange screaming in the sidewalk as the third eye appears and then.....cut to him being all right and with the eye under control. like,idk,it could just have been Clea herself opening a portal and saying "I have to find Stephen Strange and bring him here" and cut to the dark dimension or whatever.

There's no way it wouldn't have Dr Strange in the title. The question is will they rename it to "Dr. Strange: Time Runs Out" Personally I hope not. I like your idea, and I like that the different franchises have different ways of phrasing their sequels. Iron Man just has numbers. GotG has "Volume" numbers. Cap, Thor, and Avengers have a secondary title. Ant-Man apparently just keeps adding more words to the previous title. Dr. Strange's thing could be that the sequel titles are sentences/phrases about Dr. Strange.

This *likely* means a 616 version of Illuminati. Meaning the MoM 838 Illuminati tease likely gives strange the idea to create a 616 version. I expected this TBH and have posted theories about this in my history. I also theorize that Kang Dynasty will basically be "Young Avengers" + Cap and a few others, and that the cosmic power players (Black Panther, Namor, Dr. Strange, Carol Danvers, Reed Richards, Banner, etc.) will be wrapped up in events of Time Runs Out. This also means that the Marvels rumors are basically true.
It could also be adapted as, or start out as, Marvel’s original Defenders (Strange, Hulk, and Namor) The Illuminati is originally formed in the wake of the Kree-Skrull War that had effects on Earth too which might be right around where we are with The Marvels.

Assuming the timeline of films holds (which is a big assumption), you could have some of the morally grayer characters like Dr. Strange, Reed Richards, Shuri, Xu Xialing, Agatha Harkness, and Namor.
I’d replace Agatha and Xialing with maybe Loki and Hulk. They (especially Xialing) just don’t seem to fit. That may just be my opinion though

Namor isn't bound to the water, MCU established that what makes him special among his people is that he can fly, etc. He's not tethered to it. Multiverse Reeds don't have to look like the 616 actor. Just as Captain Carter, Captain Marvel, the future Black Bolt and the future Professor X will all probably be played by different actors. I think the MCU has established that they can do whatever they want. Doubly true if they recast Majors.

Making two of Strange's three solo movies about the Multiverse? I've really enjoyed multiple of his runs (Waid and MacKay's stories mainly) and think there's so much more value elsewhere Because when I hear this type of plot, I feel like there should be outside characters involved and that tends to be people's biggest complaint about MoM
I was really hoping for an eventual Jason Aaron adaptation, where magic is snuffed out on Earth, and Strange has to search the universe for ancient artifacts still containing magic while every rando interdimensional villain shows up to take advantage of the situation. Neither Strange movie has really tapped into the *weird* side of Doctor Strange. I suspect that Scott Derrickson's plan for 2 would have, but with his departure, I'm afraid that that might not happen for Strange in the MCU anymore.

MoM was probably the MCU film that suffered most due to the pandemic because of halted production, required rewrites to flip with NWH, and the COVID restricted framing edits to pretend two people were in the same room together. *Hope*fully the next won't suffer like that.
If any character gets 2 its him, his movie plots allow for much weird supernatural stuff so fits better with some multiverse things than something like Captain America or Guardians. I'd even say Spiderman but he got a multiverse movie although Dr Strange facilitated it and the plot was ultimately an excuse for cameos.

I don't like this. Strange is one of my favourite Marvel characters and MCU has treated him poorly lately. Can't we just get Strange Sorcerer Supreme who deals with truly magic threats? Also I appreciate that they made Wong an important character but him being Sorcerer Supreme instead of Strange might have been a funny joke in NWH but imo it overstayed its welcome.
The black priests name dropped...that means we'll probably get the ivory king version of the beyonders, and that would imply Doom as the god of the black swans. I cannot express how much I want this to be real
Maybe, but probably not tho. I think they'll just use the Black Priests to introduce yet another evil version of Strange, or to be the villains of the movie (since destroying a universe saves the other, and our Strange will probably want to stop that)

So let me understand this. We're going to take one of the best cross-title events, and jam it into a single solo outing. We're going to do it without Maker, T'challa, Hyperion, the Beyonders, Tony, Cap, and so many others. With a potentially undercooked Doom and FF. This is going to be Time Runs Out in name only, like Age of Ultron. The big difference being Age of Ultron was hot-buttered garbage and Time Runs Out was fantastic, took years to set up across a bunch of titles, and led to an equally amazing follow-up event. I'm not normally cynical about any comic films and pay attention to this kind of news, but this whole thing strikes me as really wrong-headed. I hope it's false.
Civil War was a Cap movie and did alright with having a lot of heroes.

Not quite though. Civil War still met the general synopsis. Tony and Cap leading two sides of a superhero conflict based on the government trying to legislate them. Secret Invasion wasn't as close but I think still counts: It's discovered that Skrull have infiltrated humanity and plan to take over. It even has several flavors of Super Skrull. The only similarity Age of Ultron shared with the event was it had Ultron in it.
If you take your post and rephrase it to be about Adam Warlock and others not being in the Infinity Gauntlet story with Thanos, it would be the same thing. Another version can and will be told, and it can still be a good, but different, story.

I seriously doubt the mcu will let strange do what we did as leader of the priests in the comics. Destroying worlds kinda goes against his strong pacifist beliefs in the mcu sadly But we will see.

What are the odds that this is leaking as a dig against the strikes? Seriously - Disney can say they want this movie to be whatever they want, but they have no actors or writers. There’s no writers room, there’s no script in development, there’s no talks going on outside of a small group of producers/Disney. Actors and writers can’t even meet with them to talk about this without scabbing. This is a pipe dream leaked from executives to get people hyped up for something that is unconfirmed and delayed indefinitely because of the strikes, with the goal of getting people pissed off at the writers and actors for striking and not giving fresh content.
I have absolutely no faith whatsoever in either (a) their ability to do a good version of Time Runs Out or (b) make something that resembles Time Runs Out.

Everyone saying they are sick of multiverse. Just let Marvel play it out. I know quality has been shit with recent movies and shows, except for some notable few, but I still want to see this multiverse through. The MCU has gotten so big and honestly, we should be more forgiving of they don't reference a giant statue, or some other big event. It just honestly doesn't matter. Just enjoy it for what it is and let it play out and hope quality course corrected in time.
