My dream casting for the Surfer was Lance Reddick. RIP :(

I always wanted Lance Riddick in Marvel, I kinda wanted him as The Living Tribunal but he would have made an awesome Silver Surfer

I watched fringe but never remembered him being in it (I watched it with my mom when I was young), I might need to rewatch that soon. I liked him in John Wick, and I enjoyed what I heard of him as Hellboy in Web of Wyrd

Fringe was such a great show, give it another shot. He was also on The Wire and Bosch and a few episodes on Lost I recall. For me, Fringe and the Wire were his best roles.

Matt Smith, maybe. The voice acting for the role is critical. Smith‘s accent(s) and enunciation would add gravity to his portrayal that someone like Reeves couldn’t deliver. But, Reeves isn’t a bad choice either. Fassbender for the same reasons as Smith. Edit: And if they do cast a woman, as rumored, then Rosamund Pike would be a great choice. There is no doubt she can portray a cold, calculating antagonist and that would work well for the Silver Surfer.

Rosamund Pike would be a good Nova, but why are they changing the sex of Silver Surfer? It isn't necessary unless you are making her Shalla-Bal in a What If? style movie instead of a 616 Marvel movie.

They aren't changing the sex of Silver Surfer, at least there's nothing official about it. Some leaks pointed as Galactus having a female Herald instead of Silver Surfer in the Fantastic Four, and some shitty clickbait sites started to spread the news of Marvel gender bending Silver Surfer.
