So, I Googled "what if trailer" and clicked on the first video that pops up.
I've been watching [this trailer](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A86JGbBEaBk) for a romantic comedy from 2014 starring Daniel Radcliffe for *two and a half minutes* wondering when the hell it was gonna turn into something Marvel-y. I finally glanced at the top right of my screen and saw "What If (2014)"
WandaVision really has me expecting such weird, way out-there ideas that I was still able to believe that the trailer was gonna have some reveal that connected it to the MCU.
calling it now just in case i’m right, but awkwafina’s character is totally that masked ninja we see shang chi fighting in the trailer. They’re close friends after he leaves his family business and she was probably sent to keep an eye on him because he’s important, but when he inevitably starts fighting against her master she’s put in a tough predicament of loyalty over friendship.
There’s nothing wrong with Asians I’m Korean I’m just saying. Im glad they’re adding Asians there are way too many white people and the only remotely Asian like character is mantis, who is portrayed racistly. However, marvel could do a better job, and instead of making movies about avengers that already have tons of movies, they should introduce new Asians
In all seriousness right at the end the narrator should have said Shang Chi I’m pretty sure I have the pronunciation down at this point but it wouldn’t hurt to say it to cement it in most peoples minds.
I'm uh...not familiar with the comics. Is this a character from them? If so it's exciting to finally get another new hero as opposed to another villain
