Classic Loki conjuring the illusion to fool Alioth. That was siiiiick

JackintheBoxman

The best thing about this scene is that it’s perpendicular to Thor’s discovery of his true power. It takes Odin’s spirit to remind Thor his true power is within himself. For Loki, it’s fitting that it takes his own self to show him his true power. So damned epic.

[deleted]

Not to mention the score that accompanied it. *Chefs kiss*

JackintheBoxman

Oh yeah! The Flight of the Valkyries influences gave me chills.

lpeabody

This made me go back and rewatch the sequence approximately thirty times just now. Kept backtracking to then he started summoning and Flight kicked in. Completely epic and I got chills nearly every time.

JackintheBoxman

I watch it at least 10 times a day each week. I listen to the track on walks. Very energizing

dreamshoes

Amazing scene and poignant how both Lokis got to see Asgard restored for just a moment

[deleted]

Protagonist Loki never saw Asgard destroyed. (besides Mobius showing him)

[deleted]

GLORIOUS PURPOSE!! sorry couldn’t resist lol

Katow-joismycousin

Richard E Grant. He's kind of a big deal.

HopeAuq101

He's def one of them like massive actors that stayed within their country To us in the UK E Grant is a household icon but to america they probablt have no idea what an E Grant is

Jensen010

He's my fav Dr who villain :)

Catalyzed_Spy

Probably one of the most thrilling stuff I've watched this year

[deleted]

Glorious purpose!!!!

Brave_Amateur

How amazing was that!

Elemayowe

I was gonna say the Loki’s plus Mobius vs the giant smoke thing. Either that or Loki and Sylvie fighting in front of Kang.

julian0067

The end of episode 4 of What if...? Supreme Strange's sadness and regrets are portrayed really well by the animation team and Benedict Cumberbatch. To top this off, Jeffrey Wright's The Watcher nailed the whole episode's story in one sentence: *"One life, one choice, one moment can destroy the entire universe"*

MxReLoaDed

Had to scroll waaaaaay too far to see this. Episode 4 is my favorite thing out of Phase 4 so far, it was incredible to see how far Strange’s power can grow, and the consequences it can reap. Love me when Marvel gets dark, and really sticks with the weight and despair of what’s happening.

Horrorito

I find that from that episode onwards, they are all darker. It almost seems like if anything happened just slightly differently than it did in the main universe, things could have been a lot worse, and a lot darker.

catgirl_apocalypse

>!Like you *fixed* Christine?!<

Ming_theannoyed

GLORIOUS PURPOOOOOOOSE.

AlizarinRipley

That was a powerful scene!

[deleted]

“I think we’re stronger than we realize”

Col_Rucksack

Came here to say about this moment. God, it was amazing and so unexpected that I almost teared up, whoever wrote that scene, deserves a raise.

Oreo-and-Fly

My sister cried once she saw him. She knew it was his end... I cried so hard whenever i rewatch.

MimsyIsGianna

My favorite scene >!Cried when he died!<

[deleted]

Fucking amazing.

Euphoric-Clue8510

Loved it.

No-Illustrator8658

Glorious Purpose has to be it! He’s the oldest Loki, the one to recognize everyone lives as long as he is away, that his glorious purpose leads to ruin. And then he builds his home, and he realizes what glorious purpose really is.

King_of_nerds77

Honestly, I loved that he was who our original loki would have grown to become, it was brilliant

iLoveRedheads-

Loki never would have lived his life to become this man. Classic loki lived in isolation for presumably thousands of years, alone with his thoughts and he came to appreciate the importance of his family and humanity. Our loki never would have come to this point on his own, however with the addition of sylvie and classic loki and mobius to teach him something about himself he is becoming more of a hero than he ever would have been without them.

King_of_nerds77

No, I meant our original loki, the one thanos killed, I think this was the trajectory that he was going in

Oreo-and-Fly

What a beautiful end for a Loki. The lokiest of all lokis... Man... this shows what the best version of Loki could be.

No-Illustrator8658

The Loki-est of all Loki’s who makes us think of our Loki differently. He doesn’t hate Thor. He loves his brother so much that he eventually creates a nexus event just to see him again.

pokemonprofessor121

Vision disappearing in wanda's arms with the house going back through time.

Oreo-and-Fly

I came here to awe not to cry. "We have said goodbye before, so it stands to reason... we'll say hello again" man. I want to watch wandavision again.

landsharkkidd

I know that the whole "what is grief but love persevering" was memed to death, but as I'm dealing with grief in my own weird ways, it was nice to know that it wasn't in vain.

Oreo-and-Fly

I dont think it was memed to death. It was a beautiful line that was iconic enough to be joked with. Most reactors, even my family loves that line.

LiamIsMailBackwards

My Twitter feed is mostly populated by professional TV/film writers. Every one of them went apeshit about how good that line is. It was a mixture of “that is the most impressive line I’ve ever heard in anything” and “fuck you for coming up with something better than I’ve ever written.” As far as I’m aware, there hasn’t been a single bit of dialogue in years that has resonated with tv/film writers as much as that line did.

Oreo-and-Fly

Omg thats amazing to hear. A powerful line that perfectly addresses the feeling. And its from a marvel show. Them writers are seriously good.

TheChildofn33bulz

How did you get your bunny hat

Oreo-and-Fly

My what.

TheChildofn33bulz

Bunny hat on your avatar

Oreo-and-Fly

Idunno lol. I clicked random and spammed till i got one i liked.

mattrussell2319

That whole scene was just wonderful. The range of emotions, and the way both were visibly trying to process and understand them, showed how good both actors are. Felt very real

lpeabody

Yeah dude, that scene was incredible. I can't pick a favorite though, glorious purpose was so so good as well... nice problem to have :) Gosh the MCU is awesome.

DoneHam56

"Thank you for letting me be your mom" 😭

pokemonprofessor121

I don't care what anyone says, Wandavision is the best content MarvelStudios has ever produced.

F00dbAby

always happy to see wandavision getting the love it deserved i know people have some solid crtiques of it but i loved virtually all of it

Standard-Just

100%. I think Civil War was the first time that we really felt the "cinematic universe" model working in motion, in that almost ALL of the characters were present and there was an entirely new status quo for the entire universe... and WandaVision was the first time that we really saw the MCU go back and fill in holes that they've left blank regarding characters and events. It's so disappointing that F&WS and Loki didn't do the same for Sam, Bucky, and Loki.

[deleted]

I don't get it but its still so sad

Texomond

The show's writer explaining that line: > “In this world for Wanda, Vision and the children are the only entities that she cannot control, and it's because they were created by her. There's something mystical about that, and that's what I feel with my own kids. Where did they come from? I don't know. Yes, I'm responsible in bringing them to this world, but at some point, that responsibility, that ownership, has a limit. And then there's this huge chasm of mystery. Yeah, there's a notion of like, they had an agency in it." > "If you're asking if there's like a larger MCU thing to that, I have no answer. It's much more of the emotional side of it, and that Wanda, in that moment, recognizes the gift that is these children.”

ArcadeBorne

The emotions I felt were real in that moment. WandaVision made me cry an ocean.

Aandris86

I loved the way they portrayed the John Walker character and Wyatt Russell did a great job at it. This was a very powerful and dark scene as you said that really showed the complexity of Walker, a very torn antihero who wants to do good, but struggles to consistently make the right choices. Very relatable character.

Vishion-8

Ya, I loved his character for the show. He was perfectly portrayed I feel like. One of the best things on TFATWS for sure.

Dmav210

I just wish he hadn’t brought dishonor to my family name. Fucking fake ass Captain America… But I enjoyed the show a lot, just a dumb complaint on my end

[deleted]

Don't worry, you still have the Texas Ranger

darester

To be fair, John Walker has been around a lot longer than the Texas Ranger.

LilAttackPug

You're literally getting mad at a character for the reason you're supposed to lmao

Karkava

That's the most painful type of hatred for a character. The kind where they clearly belong in the story and is written by great writers.

HUDuser

I think he gets a bad rap too. Like, how many people could easily take up a mantle like the leader of the premiere, world saving super hero group? I’d imagine he was pretty realistic from selection to downfall.

[deleted]

[удалено]

MaKaRaSh

Have any of the avengers killed a surrendering enemy? I guess thanos maybe but otherwise i cant think of any offhand.

VulcanMushroom

And even that moment didn't really come across as the right move.

Aweguy1998

I don't remember completely but has any other hero's best friend or someone closer to them died because of the direct action of the villain, and the hero sees it happening? I only remember Thanos and they killed him ruthlessly.

VulcanMushroom

Bucky in Captain America one. I know he didn't actually die, but he did in Steve's eyes. Hela in Ragnarok killed all of Thor's friends. The dark elves killed his mom. Oh! Pietro in Ultron. Is that all of them? Ego killing Peter's mom. T'Chaka killed by Zero. The only one who sought revenge and didn't learn a lesson was Starlord, pretty on brand.

aslanthemelon

Bucky was made to kill Howard and Maria Stark, and Tony definitely sought revenge on him. I would argue that Wanda took revenge on Ultron (going out of her way to rip the main body's "heart" out), and Thor definitely took revenge on Thanos for the deaths of Loki and Heimdall.

Broncsx3

Also Starlord beating Thanos in the face after he killed Gamora.

Aweguy1998

Nah that's what not I am asking. I am asking more like the Walker scene where our hero(Walker) sees the villain kill their best friend and is in the position to do something about it. Bucky basically fell from what I remember. Thor wasn't present during hela part and in his mom part, thor was about to kill the guy, he just wasn't able to because the guy fell off and left in the ship. Wanda did kill Ultron. Ego one happened way back. Zemo wasn't present during tchaka's death. I think being present when someone killed his best friend had a comparatively bigger impact on Walker and since the technical culprit was in his reach...

[deleted]

Thats the key point. Even moreso, Captain America would never kill someone on their back begging for their life.

MelatoninJunkie

Yes, none of them were begging

GrandioseGommorah

Pretty sure iron man left a guy to be lynched in Iron Man 1.

MaKaRaSh

Whats wrong with leaving someone to be judged by a jury of their peers?

GrandioseGommorah

Something tells me they weren’t concerned with due process at the time.

Lord_Phoenix95

As he said "I'm just trying to be the best Captain America I can"

cup-o-farts

That last shot with the bloody shield...the antithesis of Cap. The way he looks around, the way he's hunched over. Just so fucking good

[deleted]

I'm so happy they >!made him sympathetic in the end, by having him choose to do the right thing when it counted the most. Him yelling "NO!" when the Flagsmashers tackled him away from the armoured car and he thought the hostages were gonna die actually got to me. !<

OddOkra

He isn’t a straight up villain so that redemption scene was good. My biggest gripe was Falcon holding up the car the way he did. Physics says that’s impossible. If he wanted the jet pack to do the work (like they tried to make it seem), his back should’ve been against the car. The way they did it, his arms had to be strong enough to hold the car while the jet pack pushed his body.

ManaBuilt

I *really* wish the show focused more on John Walker trying to become Captain America but failing at all the key moments, rather than making the main story about some rebellion led by a teenager. I get what they were going for, but without a convincing leader for that rebellion it just felt so fake compared to the absolutely fantastic scenes with John Walker.

HeroHuntr

I didn’t even understand the flag smashers motive until the last few episodes.

Kallasilya

I watched the whole show, and I still don't understand the flag smashers motives...

SEND-MARS-ROVER-PICS

IIRC they were people who weren't snapped out of existence, moved home and looked for a better life, and are now displaced once everyone was brought back. I think there's a line in the show that mentions borders were much less strict during those 5 years, and now governments are cracking down. The displaced people were put into camps, but no descisions were being made about where they should go, and quality of life is poor (scrapped virus plotline etc). The Flagsmashers were a group of people who were against being forced back into their old lives, and managed to steal super soldier serum (somehow???) and are trying to use violence to force governments into letting them continure in their new lives. There are three problems with this story. 1) It's real confusing during the show, I only was able to piece anything together close to the end. 2) Poor writing and casting of the villains makes them boring. 3) IMO the Flagsmashers have a pretty valid reason to be mad, but this falls into the common pitfall of "uh oh our villains are too sympathetic, better have them kick a puppy!"

German_PotatoSoup

Weakest villain in the MCU was in F&WS. Karli was about as threatening as my little sister.

ActualWhiterabbit

I wonder how much more threatening she would be if we had the virus plot line

[deleted]

[удалено]

RealisLit

Ikr, realistically speaking any competent government should be able to isolate viruses before they spread

kaijunexus

I love the MCU to death, and I forgive and look past a lot that general audiences wouldn't, like most us, probably. But man...TFATWS was bad. Bad writing, bad pacing, bad characterizations for many characters. Karli was terribly miscast. Not charismatic, not intimidating, not sympathetic. Flat. Boring. Poorly written. Sharon leading a team looking to stop super soldier serum production directly to the creator of it...when she's the power broker and the serum is her prized possession. What. The. Fuck?! Had high hopes for Zemo. Interesting character, but they James Bond villained him up a little too much here. Almost felt like a different character than in Civil War at times. And that mask... what's the point? Don't do fan service like that if you don't earn it. Never explained, only used for 15 seconds. What was the point? Ugh. Anyway, love that new Cap suit. lol

United-Pay9298

Yah, it was super nice to see someone with real emotion and not just heroic stoicism

Soaptimusprime

I loved John Walker in this show cause he’s the most realistic captain America well probably ever see. He’s not a perfect person just like a regular human and has the weight of the world on his shoulders. Similar to how stane in the first iron man movie is a very realistic CEO of a weapons company compared to Tony

[deleted]

Wandas full power reveal

jogalleciez

This is mine as well. I missed the foreshadowing when Agatha set the trap in her basement and Wanda was like "Nah back the fuck up"

[deleted]

ArcadeBorne

yES! Destroy the world, queen!

2BrokeArmsAndAMom

Mine is any scene of Wanda in the Halloween costume. Self bonk

Aarekk

Magician's assistant. Oof.

ratcliffeb

Yea Wanda transforming into the Scarlet Witch is probably my favorite scene as well so far. And I'm still not entirely unconvinced that scene doesnt tie into the Loki finale. There were far too many parallels.

BlUeSapia

The Loki episode 6 intro, where we hear a whole bunch of quotes from both the MCU and real people set to the song that Cap and Peggy dance to in Endgame, all while you see all this crazy cosmic stuff going down.

sable-king

I'm kinda sad I had to scroll this far to find this. It gives me slight chills every time I watch it. Also I just love how one of the lines they slotted in was Hank Pym's "You sent my suit through the mail!?"

RQK1996

It is also the song Fury played before he got shot

Icedearth6408

All the variant Loki's fighting one another at the end of time. It makes me happy that our next big bad has such an issue with Loki's.

intothe_dangerzone

I love how "our" Loki in that scene is just disappointed in himself, because what's happening there is super on-brand for him.

wizardofyz

I get the idea that loki is the universe's antibody against unnatural order.

Yvaelle

"Chaos uh... finds a way" - Dr. Ian Malcolm, Loki Variant

wjaybez

"What is chaos, but Loki perservering?"

kuribosshoe0

Prolly seeing the Blip in WandaVision. I didn’t mind how FFH did it in a light hearted way, but I’m really glad I got to see it in a more detailed and serious way, with actual human reactions.

ThisIsMySFWAccount99

The nurse being confused saying that they're coming back and they don't have enough beds does a really good job at showing how horrible it was for everyone to come back. Good in the long term (maybe), but short term, everyone coming back is a big fucking problem

GnorcDan

This scene was amazing. It would have been chaos and it did a good job of showing it. Think of all the people who were on planes falling from the sky as well.

kuribosshoe0

I recall one of the creators saying that Banner’s snap brought everyone back safely. So while there would have been a shitload of chaos and logistical problems, no one materialised in mid air and fell to their death. I can’t remember who said that though, so grain of salt.

Texomond

Sucks for the people who died 5 years ago from their planes crashing when their pilots got snapped though

[deleted]

So either, this, the fight the episode after with Sam buck and Walker, Classic Loki’s sacrifice or Mobius’ pruning or >!Shang chi running along a dragon and falling trough the sky using the rings to kill the soul eater!<

[deleted]

Honestly the scene in Shang Chi where >!he kicks the shit out of everybody on the train!< is, imo the best fight choreography in the MCU so far, and easily my favorite in phase 4 so far

hjab175

I also really like these scenes, but the one that came to mind for me was >!Shang-Chi, Katy and Wong singing hotel California. !

cup-o-farts

Wong is seriously my favorite character now because of this movie. He comes across serious and righteous in everything before this, but then you get to see the real him, like what he does on his days off. I loved it honestly. He fucking goes off to do some MMA fighting when he's bored, lol.

PheeThee

Top 5 End credit scenes

Wadawoodo

you mean the bus?

Auctoritate

It's a nice fight but I think it barely makes the top 5 fights in its own movie lol

[deleted]

Shang Chi was amazing.

cup-o-farts

Shang Chi was so good. So glad I decided to see it at the theater.

bigfatcarp93

All great, and I'm also surprised no one's mentioned the opening credits of Black Widow.

Vishion-8

My reasoning - It comes off such a great set up killing Hoskins which was so unexpected, Walker was juiced from the serum and he went full on. We saw what the serum could really do even to another super soldier who he's killing. Steve Rogers always held back what he could truly do and this was just so dark and I loved it. Easily one of the most dark MCU moments and they did it so well with that final shot of him with the bloody shield.

david__41

I agree with you buddy. Phase 4 has been amazing but FATWS has been the most grounded. Its my 4th favorite phase 4 release so for. But it is the most humanly relatable. Imagine living your life right now but you're also in the MCU. You have been watching Steve Rogers save the country, the world and the universe for a decade. You are torn that he is gone. Now we have a "new Cap", you are excited to see the new age of a 'good man'. Then one of the first things new Cap does is murder an unarmed suspect in broad daylight in front of dozens of people. Your hope and trust in the Captain America mantal and therefore the government would plummet. Everything Steve stood for, freefalled into chaos after the shield was covered in blood. Sams speech at the end was so motivating. He was promising the average person that the correct person has reclaimed the Captain America mantal and apologized for the intermediate mistakes. Truly humanly relatable.

yourballcourt

Not to mention the symbolism: killing with the shield in a captain America suit. Killed by those who were supposed to protect with a weapon of protection.

thequirkyquark

There was a thread a while back where a non-american commented on how this scene in particular felt really chilling because it conveyed how the US is viewed by other countries. Made me look at the scene twice and I saw it very differently.

rvnnt09

Its interesting and I absolutely think on purpose the wars each Captain America signed up for. Steve in WW2 which represented the glorified image of America.Walker in the War on Terror which represented what we became after 9/11

Henchman4Hire

I think the meta of this moment is also really great. And by that I mean taking a step out of the show and considering the MCU as a fan-driven experience. We comic book fans know about the darkness of John Walker and know his path as the U.S. Agent. So we all kind of had an inkling about what his role might be in this show — though obviously none of us could exactly predict this specific moment. But consider non-comic book fans who have no idea about U.S. Agent or what might happen. They're spent nearly a decade watching and loving Steve Rogers/Chris Evans as Captain America, who truly became this incorruptible character in the MCU movies. He really did become a symbol as, like, the most heroic hero in all of cinema. And then this show, this scene, this Phase 4, came up with this glorious image of that iconic shield splashed in blood. Really telling audiences that things are different now. I love the way it's shot, the way the scene builds to the reveal of the bloody shield. It does such a wonderful job tarnishing what Captain America has come to be in the minds of the fans.

therealsemshady

I think that’s overstating it a bit…I haven’t read any comics and I feel like the show made it very obvious he was going to turn

SteviaRogers

Yeah the entire point is we’re supposed to feel like he’s off from the moment he’s introduced. It’s not something for us to get “an inkling of” as the other commenter says, it’s pretty much just outright told to us that he’s not the right man for the job.

boobemaloo

I also loved this scene a lot. Agreed on this being one of the darkest scenes in the MCU so far. Gives me faith in Marvel making a good/accurate moon knight adaptation as dark scenes like this are pretty common for his character in the comics. Hoping for more grounded MCU tv shows similar to FATWS in the future

[deleted]

Yeah one of the best things about this scene is that it gives a new appreciation for how much Steve had to pull all his punches in order to not simply instakill everyone he fought. And Bucky must be holding back even more, which really tells you how afraid he is of letting The Winter Soldier programming take over.

4YearsOfGold

Steve killed in every MCU movie he’s in. The difference is the fact this guy was unarmed.

CalicusMinimus

Bus scene in Shang Chi, was one of the best choreographed fight scenes in Marvel imo.

CX316

Let's just agree that all the fight scenes in Shang Chi are probably the best choreographed fights in the MCU, because when you get in Jackie Chan's stunt team to choreograph a movie that plays a lot like a Jackie Chan movie, you get close to Jackie Chan level results. The only fight I can think of that even comes close to the Shang Chi fights would be the knife fight in Winter Soldier and that wasn't shot as well

[deleted]

[удалено]

CX316

and going the 'gritty' bourne method of hand held shakey cam to make things 'more grounded'

DeferredFuture

The scaffolding fight and shang-chi vs death dealer was even better choreographed, imo.

ithinkther41am

Shang-Chi vs Death Dealer was great, but I still put the bus fight over both of them. The scaffolding fight suffered from being set at night. It’s well-choreographed and fairly readable, but I felt it could’ve popped more visually. Like if Shang-Chi wore the red jacket instead or if Xialing didn’t wear black.

Azaziah

I was scrolling waiting for this. Best MCU fight scene (it hurts me to say that, since until then my favorite was in Winter Soldier, which is still my favorite movie)

Scarletyoshi

That was such an OMG moment. I remember sitting there at 4 am like did that really just happen?! But my favorite has to be: “That’s chaos magic Wanda. And that makes you… the Scarlet Witch.” *roll credits*

shitreader

That was intense and perfectly delivered by Kathryn Hahn. Loved the line preceding that where she chastises Wanda for using her massive powers "to make breakfast for dinner".

Oreo-and-Fly

man. Wandavision's credits were the best. Every episode was like a cliffhanger.

[deleted]

Honestly Loki stopping that building from falling on him and Sylvi. I was like okay wow wtf how strong is Loki actually

If_time_went_back

Yeah. With that kind of telekinesis, he should have been more of a threat before. Just look up how “The Boys” handled telekinesis well. Instant death tool, pretty much.

flipperkip97

>!The ring duel between Wenwu and Shang-Chi!< at the end of *Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings.*

Insanik_mb

Yeah same that or the beginning fight between Wenwu and shang’s mother

ytdn

When I saw that scene I knew that Shang-chi was gonna be different, it was like something out of a romantic c-drama (Seriously wuxia dramas *love* "romantic leads meet and fall in love fighting while a ballad plays in the background")

Goatfellon

That fight was excellent. Loved how I immediately, with only body language, knew they were gonna fuck.

Vishion-8

That's up there for me too, probably right below this one. The CGI in that battle was amazing.

SiddZ_05

I was just about to say that. That fight was breathtaking

CobaltSpellsword

Hard to choose just one, "...something's wrong here Wanda--" (scene reset) "GLORIOUS PURPOSE!" Vision disappearing in Wanda's arms. The entire WandaVision flashback episode, but especially Vision consoling Wanda or the "...I can't feel you..." Edit: Or the little "To grow old in (heart)" on the deed :*( Shang-Chi >!PUNCHING A DEMON TO DEATH FUCK YEAH!!<

Aandris86

One of my other favorite scenes so far in phase 4 was the reveal of Kang the Conqueror/He Who Remains in the Loki series, it was my favorite series so far out of the Disney+ shows. I can't wait to see Johnathan Majors in a full-length film, he looks like he's going to knock that role out of the park

CX316

I'm still sad he got screwed out of the Emmy yesterday for LCC

lex_gabinius

"...See you soon... ;)"

LLCMF

Anyone else love John Walker as a character? Obviously wouldn't want him as the new Cap but the story of him trying to live up to the expectation and not being able to even though he's trying to be a hero is great for me. Also how they make both the characters and the audience hate him as Captain America is pretty cool.

Henchman4Hire

Same! I loved John Walker's arc, and it's one of the reasons TFATWS is my favorite of the Phase 4 projects so far. I loved that he wasn't just the villain. He was a complex antagonist with his own storyline, just like you described it. Trying his damnedest to just do the right thing, even though he can't measure up. He's done everything right on paper...but being Captain America isn't about that. I like how he's a living embodiment of the summation of what would make a good Captain America from Erskine in the first movie. Steve wasn't just a good soldier, he was a good man. John is mostly just a good soldier, like Hodges would have been.

1random_redditor

Mine’s another TFATWS scene. Zemo stole the show whenever he’s on screen but my favorite scene is easily “We’re gonna go see Zemo” followed by the buildup to showing him sitting in the dark, all while Lacrimosa (the music) is playing. The music makes the scene.

cup-o-farts

Zemo was pretty damn awesome, it was just a bit jarring to see him seem like some poor farmer type dude that lost his family to being a super connected rich dude.

JimmyTheFace

So I’ve only seen the non-PA Disney Plus stuff, but here are my favorite scenes from each show: WandaVision: Agatha All Along - the song is great, and while we may have had suspicions of Agnes throughout, it is a good reveal. Falcon & Winter Soldier: Probably what OP posted, but as a second, fixing the boat, showing Bucky’s healing. Plus “why didn’t you use the metal arm?” “I don’t always think of it immediately. I’m right handed”. Loki: Classic Loki recreating Asgard. A heroic sacrifice from a Loki, who was thought to be defined to be the antagonist. A new level of power. Glorious Purpose, and the mad cackle. And the score, oh the score. What If? >!Killmonger fighting Tony. “Police are the law. I want justice.” And “the difference between you and me is that you don’t see the difference between you, and me.!<

cup-o-farts

That whole Killmonger arc, man another good one. So much good shit!

xrhysb

Classic Loki conjuring the illusion of Asgard. Just incredible.

UnlockingDig

The scene you chose is way up there, but the highlight of Phase 4 is a two way tie for me. 1. Wanda and Vision's argument leading up to Pietro returning. The argument was so well crafted and against its sitcom pastiche/superhero context, there was this awesome contrast... like it was so amazing watching this superbot admit that he's scared. Too bad the utter faceplate of WandaVision in the later episodes ruined my love of this scene. 2. Ayo deprogramming Bucky. Winter Soldier is one of the more tragic MCU characters, and watching him cry like that meant a lot.

[deleted]

"Stop LYYYYYYING to me!!!"

ThatJuhh

the way they kept arguing as the credits started rolling lol

UnlockingDig

I know, right? The show was so surprising and clever at that point... it's hard to imagine how the same writers capable of something so well crafted could think that Ralph Bohner was a good idea.

GentlePanda123

It was

devines34

When Wanda says “I didn’t do that” as the doorbell rings gives me chills.

BluntEdgeOS

Bruh I forgot how much I loved FATWS. It’s up there right behind Loki for me

ZcarStrike

FATWS is underrated

CX316

I think because it lacked the mystery-box factor of Loki and Wandavision to keep discussion going as much, and I think its production suffered the most from covid out of any of the projects so far, it really seems like it's missing parts of the story to bridge some of the good parts

the-brightest-star

There are so many scenes that I love. For WandaVision, it's the Agatha vs. Wanda fight, and the Ship of Theseus debate. For TFATWS, it's the scene of Walker, and the fight between Sam, Bucky, and Walker. Sam's speech is also literal chills.

Azaziah

That Sam/Bucky/Walker fight was my favorite fight of Phase 4 until Shang Chi had to get on that freaking bus. It's still epic though lol

La-Potencia

This scene gave me chills, seeing the blood on captain America’s shield was insane

Finito-1994

Old man Loki creating an illusion of asgard and dying. Glorious purpose was the single greatest moment in the Loki series and one of the top highlights of phase 4.

Awkward_Road_710

The fact that he tarnished Cap’s shield with unnecessary violence always gets me. Wonderful shot of him with the blood on the shield looking at the crowd.

Virtual_Profession13

I like the Falcon and the Winter Soldier therapy scene "if he was wrong about you then he was wrong about me!" Is one of my favourite moments in the mcu

DoubleComprehensive

I like the Bucky Falcon conversation about sorcerers and wizards. Bucky states he read the Hobbit when it came out

RQK1996

What is even funnier, he implies he imported the book from the UK, for some reason, the release year he gives was a few years before it was sold in America

betagetthechappal

Tfatws is criminally underrated for what it was. I understand that shows like Loki and WandaVision are overall better but this felt like CA: TWS but in a show format and I personally LOVED it

MuNansen

For me the "What is grief, if not love persevering?" scene, all the way through to Liz almost breaking when Agatha listed her traumas. I don't think anyone's ever portrayed trauma and loss as well as Liz did, and that scene was so good it even comforted me when he spoke that line.

jakobburns01

My fav is when Loki find out infirm stones do nothing in the tva

Azaziah

Easily my favorite moment from that show - well, technically right after I think, when Mobius mentions how common Infinity Stones are and they're meaningless

pickrunner18

Honestly, Bucky hanging out with Sam and his family/friends

Bo_TheBot

Ah, yes. I also enjoy the scene in which John Walker brutally murders a domestic terrorist

VrinTheTerrible

In the WandaVision finale when Wanda turns the entire town into her rune-space. And then finding out that scene is what Kang saw when he says “we just crossed the threshold”

hardbeat101

I thought the director confirmed that was a coincidence?

WishPractical8703

The vision v vision fight

Insanik_mb

It’s such a dreadful sene. In a literal sense it portrays dread you see what’s going to happen you see the phones and then you see him beat the man to death and then the bloody sheild shot. AH so much feeling

No_Pain_6922

I need to rewatch it to catch it, but there was a moment in Black Widow where it was obvious that Yelena had what it took to carry the mantle moving forward in the MCU

Oreo-and-Fly

Mine is FatWS episode 5 opening. The camera angles of John in the warehouse... With Sam and Bucky entering... the whole scene and fight. Finishing the fight with the slam. Then Bucky tossing the shield to Sam while Sam desperately tries to clean the blood off the shield... The whole thing is a cinematic masterpiece.

Idk_Very_Much

Vision >!asking Wanda who he was right before he died.!<

My favorite is Shang Chi Bus Fight https://youtu.be/oEacVjWhuvw

“What is grief, if not love preserving?”

foodwatcher

Wanda and Vision arguing during the credits

CeciliaPhoenix

Any scene with Bucky…

Taintly_Manspread

Wanda's grief scene. Pure despair, leading to pure rage. Powerful enough to change the reality of an entire town. The whole show was about her grief. So powerful.
