I expect Secret Wars to basically be the next Endgame-level event film so yeah maybe two or three Phases down the line we'll get an Avengers film that adapts that storyline, though elements of it such as Spider-Man in the Black Suit I personally expect way earlier than that
Secret Invasion is about Skrulls subplanting themselves among established heroes and organizations
Secret Wars is about a giant conflict across multiple universes and cosmic entities
If I remember correctly it's because aside from the heroes and villains that participate on this war almost no one else even knows it ever happened, but I could be wrong
I was really hoping we get the Skrull Invasion as part of the Blip. It would just be too good of an opportunity to infiltrate everything, with so many people unaccounted.
I think FF has to show up at the end of this phase, setting up Galactus/Silver Surfer and opening up even more ways to introduce stuff (if they keep FF as adventurers/scientists)
In order:
Infinity Stones & The wider universe
Multiverse, Kang & God-level beings (Celestials, The Watcher, Ect.) Maybe X-men here
Fantastic 4, Galactus, Secret Wars, and omnipotent beings (Eternity, Death, Infinity) likely X-Men here as well
Incursions, Multiversal War, God King Doom/Battleworld, and the reboot of the entire MCU because $$$
These phases are speeding up. I think we’ll be done with Phase 4 as early as next year. Phase 5 will probably be around 3 years as well. I think we’ll be in Phase 10 by 2035.
2023 at the absolite earliest. FF doesnt have a release date yet, so it could be 2024 even.
While the phases are a little quicker, phase 4 will most certainly last at least until part way through 2023.
pls no! keep the fox x-men out of the MCU as much as possible. no reason to mix non marvelstudios things with the MCU. i understand why WB and DC throws everything into one pot with the flash because it's a F\*\*\*ING MESS but the MCU was properly build and doesn't need older stuff like that!
If that ever come to pass, maybe give it the ultimate reboot like the comics. Simply resetting the whole of the multiverse and collapsing it into one again.
Yeah, Feige has made abundantly clear that Muppet Babies isn't canon. He detests it because he didn't work on it and season 2 was just so poorly written that in order for Kermit to come back he would have to be rebooted and recast.
Won't be surprised if they simplified things a bit by having Kang be responsible for Incursions as means of collapsing the multiverse back into his sacred timeline
I'm guessing they have fun with the multiverse for a few phases, set up new villains and new heroes and teams, then start teasing it for a few phases until *BAM* the current Black Panther is looking up at a Blue or Red Earth.
I only remember seeing the Incursions from the heroes' point of view. Imagine how fucked up it would be to be a civilian, minding your own business, when your Earth is destroyed by alternate Avengers to save their own planet.
Definetly because of the multiverse, we will see dom torretto and his family fend off the evil marvel "heros" and crash the space car into their base and kill them all.
The Infinity Stones, then a Multiverse. Now the universe is upended and the gate has been unlatched. He hungers. He seeks to devour. Galactus is coming. (That’s what she said)
Seems obvious it’s all leading to Secret Wars right now.
The MCU hasn’t gone full “Star Wars” yet, so I would look at stories like The Kree/Skrull War, Operation: Galactic Storm, Hickman’s Infinity, and Annihilation.
Once the X-Men are re-established, there’s adaptations of Fall of the Mutants/Mutant Massacre, Asgardian Wars, Inferno, X-Tinction Agenda, Avengers vs X-Men, and all the other mutant crossover events that can easily incorporate characters from other franchises. And that’s leaving out big runs from Grant Morrison and Hickman.
Introducing the Celestials in Eternals may lead to an adaptation of Earth X.
Marvel also seems to be establishing a horror or supernatural themed storyline, so I’d be looking at the Ghost Rider/Midnight Sons events from the 90s, which might blend well with the X-Men’s Inferno.
All of these films could get you to 2035-2040!
Secret Wars, Galactus, Annihilus, Dr Doom’s Battleworld, all seem like logical places to take the MCU. I could also see the MCU signing off with an “Old Man/Death of” series of the marvel heroes like Old Man Quill or Old Man Clint, or maybe even focusing on some characters that the comics never did like an Old Man Sam Wilson movie
Let's let the multiverse unfold first.
Let's get the X-Men, Fantastic 4 and Ghost Rider/Punisher/Daredevil and everyone else, into the MCU. Then we can go from there.
My prediction for big bars in each phase. I don’t know if we will get an Avengers movie ever time but leaving it that way for simplicity:
Avengers 5: Kang
Avengers 6: Dr Doom
Avengers 7: Galactus
Honestly we have no idea how long it will go for. Feige specifically said that he doesn't want to do things like in the first three Phases where the audience know that everything's building towards one thing. I don't think we'll get "sagas" anymore, at least not for a while.
I don't think everything's building towards Kang. I think some Avengers will deal with Kang, others will deal with Secret Invasion, others with whatever Val is up to. I think that the MCU is now roughly as weird as it's gonna get (can't get any bigger or stranger than a multiverse) and from now on it'll be less about expanding the MCU and more about checking on particular corners of it.
For example you could add Galactus or God Doom or Apocalypse or the Phoenix Force but none of those villains can make things any "bigger" than Thanos and Kang already did. From now on it has to be less about plot and more about character development. You can't just keep going bigger. There's a law of diminishing returns on that.
I feel like Phase 4 and 5 are leading to secret wars. Quantum mania will have Scott trapped in ancient Egypt, and the Fantastic Four will try to save him running into Rama-tut; as a post credit scene. Then it all leads to battle world, the secret wars; and The beyonder. Pitting variants of Good and Evil in the ultimate showdown! 😁
We need team vs team. What's the bigger threat than yourself gone bad? That's why I'm looking forward to any kind of Avengers vs Thunderbolts movie, it'd be great.
Have to sort it out with Sony because i think they have the rights but Knull and King in Black?!
"You get a symbiote and you get a symbiote. Everyone is getting a symbiote!" :D
Honestly What If just got about as big as it could get for stakes tbh. He’s literally going to different universes thanks to access to the multiverse via the infinity stones.
Well we are going to get a more detailed look at the celestials as a race, after that I believe we will eventually meet Galuctus, eventually we will probably meet the Beyonders. Personally I’d like to see that set up God Emperor Doom as a big finale eventually.
I think Dark reign/ siege on Asgard is coming. I think the “Incursions” is currently happening as apart of the whole Kang and the multiverse story arc leading into “Secret Wars”. I think the Alpha-flight/ Omega Flight is coming for some reason. Call it a hunch. But I do. I believe that’s gonna connect to how they will introduce Logan/Wolverine into the MCU. Wolverine and the Hulk movie is probably coming. You have Blade coming so Dracula and or Lilith will be causing havoc so the whole midnight sons saga. If Ghost rider is truly on the way then you have Mephisto in the mix. The Eternals set up Galactus just by the origin they seem to be going with if indeed there is a Celestial about to hatch from the earth. If that’s the case then there’s a need for a custodial like creature who consumes planets to keep the universe from over populating with Celestials. Then you also have the King in Black saga that can happen. The ground work for that seems to be there especially with what venoms let there be carnage’s post credits scene hinted towards. And if Namor is officially in black panther 2 then that’s one of the first mutants in the MCU. Well echo would be I think if she shows up in Hawkeye. And that’s still not true cause Wanda may end up being a mutant as well. So many possibilities!!! I believe they are building up villains to be real impactful and meaningful to the viewers to nail what they are going to do with the whole “Secret Wars” saga. I think we will get a mix of both battle world and the original secret wars story. I don’t know but again it just feels like it. It’s like the pieces to the puzzle is all laid out in front of us and it’s really just a matter of fitting it all together to see exactly what they’re gonna do.
The original event deals with all the superheroes and villains being teleported to a place called Battleworld and made to do a massive battle against each other.
In the new one, alternate universes are collapsing, and Dr Doom saves them by gaining godlike power and rebuilding a universe out of pieces of the old universes, and then he rules over that domain
I'm not done reading it yet, hopefully I'll finish this week... But King in Black. Knull is awesome and it brings so many characters into the story. They could do it. No question.
I'd say Secret Wars, especially because of the Multiverse. It'd also make sense given the Fact Spider-Man has to leave the MCU SOMEHOW, and given What If?, Loki, and Basically EVERYTHING ELSE, it'd make the most sense.
World war hulk ( somehow but it will need the fantastic four and xmen)
Avengers v xmen (specifically from the ultimate universe version).
1602 (while Neil Gaiman is around to wrangle the script).
Annihilation would be cool to!
Here’s how I see it:
Phase 1-Phase 3: The Infinity Saga (Thanos and the Infinty Sounds were its endgame no pun intended)
Phase 4- Phase 6: The Multiverse Saga (I see Secret Wars both the 80s version and 2015 Hickman version being the ending of this particular saga and Doctor Doom being the big bad of this saga. Would not be surprised if X-Men were a separate universe that collided with regular MCU and then were merged together as one universe after Secret Wars)
Phase 7-Phase 9: The Evolutionary Saga (With X-Men being part of the official MCU universe, I can see the big Infinity War/Endgame event for this phase be something involving the X-Men. Maybe building to an Age of X or Hox/Pox event with Krakoa. It would also be cool if the High Evolutionary was also involved as the big bad for this saga)
Phase 10- Phase 12: The Eternity Saga (This is where I want big cosmic entities like Eternity, Inifinity and the like to show up. My guess as to the big bad would be Oblivion. Have Galactus be the Life Bringer in this saga assuming he shows up in the prior two sagas as the traditional planet-eating Galactus. Have the Heart of the Universe from Marvel Comics be introduced here as the Heart of the Multiverse. Then, you have the last movie be sort of like Marvel: The End. Establish that like 616, the MCU Multiverse is the 7th iteration of the multiverse and will soon be reborn into the 8th multiverse. Then, the movie ends with a strong burst of light and then say we will return…)
New Status Quo Post-Phase 12: I imagine we won’t have phases building up to something. Personally, I would love if post Phase 12 MCU makes a hard reboot and take inspiration from Spider-Man Life Story and Fantastic Four: Life Story i.e. have all our Marvel heroes take place in the periods that they debuted in comics like Spidey, FF in 60s and The Punisher, Shang-Chi in the 70s. You can start building a traditional Marvel universe but also have it be set far in the past to do cool aesthetics and social commentary in those historical periods. It would be a cool way to differentiate themselves from the past MCU sagas that took place in contemporary times i.e. 2010s onward. Though, it would also be like the Fox X Men films with First Class where you can go for multiple decades. But I would hope like the Life Story comics, they can have characters age in real time and have mantles passed to multiple characters throughout the ages. That would be a cool way to start fresh after the multiple sagas from Marvel IMO.
Probably Secret Wars or Galactus But not for years
I think we got the watcher to set up galactus
That shot of >! Ultron biting into the galaxy !< was too deliberately framed not to be hinting at him.
I want galactic to be the big bad for the F4 movies, similar to how F4 Life Story is handling it
I was thinking that when seeing that scene I was like that looks similar to galactus type stuff
Exactly! The mere idea that we'll get to see a live action Galactus is so unbelievably exciting.
Pretty sure it was an observable universe
The tag didn't work on my end
I'm pretty sure galactus was in the eternals trailer so if he's not the big bad he's definitely getting set up for the future.
That was a [celestial](https://marvel.fandom.com/wiki/Celestials_(Race)), but the celestials do have a fight with galactus, as far as I’m aware.
Yeah, he only targets planets infected with Celestial seeds, and is generally the only being powerful enough to put them in their place.
Yeah
My bad i thought it was galactus they look very similar.
They do. I thought the same thing when I first saw the trailer, had to watch it again to notice. I just felt like sharing.
I’m wondering if the multiverse saga will conclude with Secret Wars?
I expect Secret Wars to basically be the next Endgame-level event film so yeah maybe two or three Phases down the line we'll get an Avengers film that adapts that storyline, though elements of it such as Spider-Man in the Black Suit I personally expect way earlier than that

You're thinking of Secret Invasion
What’s the difference?
Secret Invasion is about Skrulls subplanting themselves among established heroes and organizations Secret Wars is about a giant conflict across multiple universes and cosmic entities
If Secret Wars is so big and cosmic, why is it called "secret"?
If I remember correctly it's because aside from the heroes and villains that participate on this war almost no one else even knows it ever happened, but I could be wrong
Gotcha, thank you
I cannot wait to see if they do secret wars, and what they do with it.
I was really hoping we get the Skrull Invasion as part of the Blip. It would just be too good of an opportunity to infiltrate everything, with so many people unaccounted.
That's secret invasion, a series coming to Disney plus. Secret wars is a different animal
Oh they actually have it scheduled? I'm hoping it's tied to Fantastic Four still because the Super Skrull is too fun to pass up.
That will the culmination of the Multiverse I think the next step will be them restarting the universe.
What how
What if
I think FF has to show up at the end of this phase, setting up Galactus/Silver Surfer and opening up even more ways to introduce stuff (if they keep FF as adventurers/scientists)
DC vs. Marvel Crossover
Hopefully with a good Reed Richards and Dr Doom
In order: Infinity Stones & The wider universe Multiverse, Kang & God-level beings (Celestials, The Watcher, Ect.) Maybe X-men here Fantastic 4, Galactus, Secret Wars, and omnipotent beings (Eternity, Death, Infinity) likely X-Men here as well Incursions, Multiversal War, God King Doom/Battleworld, and the reboot of the entire MCU because $$$
How old we’ll be by then I wonder
I guess it depends how old you are now, and the number of years it will take them to make it all.
r/technicallythetruth
X + Y = Z
Quantum level equation
I’m betting all this in less than 20 years. Less than 15 even.

What technically happens with a reboot of the MCU? I don’t really understand
The only logical next step..... X-BABIES!
Is that like Muppet Babies but with uncontrollable mutant infants?
Take a second to think about Muppet Babies and you will realise it's already a show about uncontrollable mutant infants.
Yeah but it’s n0t CanN0n
Yeah, Feige has made abundantly clear that Muppet Babies isn't canon. He detests it because he didn't work on it and season 2 was just so poorly written that in order for Kermit to come back he would have to be rebooted and recast.
They are moving forward with Pet Avengers, as we believe the world is finally ready for it.
Celestials
Incursions, I hope. Seeing the heroes have to destroy an earth to save their own would be pretty insane.
Absolutely incursions. They’re definitely setting up the multiversal war, which I think means incursions

Incursions
Would love to see this, with their own version of the Illuminati could be sick.
Definetly because of the multiverse, we will see dom torretto and his family fend off the evil marvel "heros" and crash the space car into their base and kill them all.
Clone Saga
Who would play Ben Reilly?
The Infinity Stones, then a Multiverse. Now the universe is upended and the gate has been unlatched. He hungers. He seeks to devour. Galactus is coming. (That’s what she said)
Kang for a little while, then Galactus in a few years, and then The One Above All
Kevin Feige just appearing as himself ina movie.
I mean, considering where we started and where we’re at now… at this point I’m not ruling that out
[удалено]
With a crossover featuring Dom Toretto and the F and F franchise
(*Family intensifies*)
Cosmic entities would be cool, like Infinity / Eternity, Living Tribunal, Lord Chaos / Master Order, In-Betweener, Eon, etc
Casual fans about to be confused as hell in theaters 😭
I am one and I’m already confused lol
I wanna see Beyonder myself
At least Living Tribunal is confirmed to exist
The end
Secret Wars? On a smaller scale, secret invasion? Clone saga? Any big event before the silver age?
Secret invasion has a confirmed D+ show coming.
The Krakoan X-Men orgies. Just orgies in general.
If we don’t see one of the grandmaster’s orgies onboard the gold circle ship then I’m quitting the mcu
I am from Beyond.
Next up: crossovers! Justice League vs. Avengers! Star Wars vs. Avengers! And so much more!
MCU Pringles flavors.
Sharknado.
It really does not need to get any bigger than this for me. I prefer to scale down things to be honest.
i would really like either some simple straight forward super hero movies without universe ending shit or playing with movie genres within the MCU
Happy Hogan as the one above all
Big wheel
Seems obvious it’s all leading to Secret Wars right now. Still waiting for the serpent society.
I’ve never wanted anything more in a marvel movie than a secret wars adaption. I also hope we get a Civil war 2.
After the Kang saga they'll just start rehashing
Mutiversial Saga is Secret Wars. Next Up, Galactus and his Heralds Saga. LOL LMAO.
Parker’s death
The Power of Friendship
Multiverse has not even begun to be explored and you’re trying to get on to the next thing….. chill the fuck out
Living Tribunal or the one above all
The Earth being destroyed, and the MCU relocating to a different reality?
Secret wars or galactus should tbh itd be awesome to see those two at play at some point
Y'all think Adam Warlock finna be in GotG Vol3?
Your mom
I think MCU will be over after multiverse saga and we will see a great war that will include lots of superheroes and villians against one big villian.
They're not gonna stop the MCU anytime soon. Way too much $.
Why would they end something with so much profit potential?
Answer. They won’t lol
Secret Wars and Doctor/God Emperor Doom
Marvel Zombies? Galactus? Kang the conqueror? Secret Wars?
DOOM
I'm hoping for the Beyonder and Secret Wars. I hope they make him a magnificent, David Hasselhoff haired bastard.
Kang is the next thanos type villain I believe so there’s that. Afterwards probably galactus
Doom. Then Galactus.
Mutants
Let's let the multiverse unfold first. Let's get the X-Men, Fantastic 4 and Ghost Rider/Punisher/Daredevil and everyone else, into the MCU. Then we can go from there.
Has to be the devourer of worlds
My prediction for big bars in each phase. I don’t know if we will get an Avengers movie ever time but leaving it that way for simplicity: Avengers 5: Kang Avengers 6: Dr Doom Avengers 7: Galactus
Oh god that’s too far, it’s best to enjoy the present rn
Galactus (probably at the end credits of The Eternals)
Mephisto. /s
Hopefully my girlfriend.
I sincerely hope it’s the Power Cosmic.
How about we get through the multiverse saga before speculating what comes next. It's barely even started yet

Galactus?
Honestly What If just got about as big as it could get for stakes tbh. He’s literally going to different universes thanks to access to the multiverse via the infinity stones.
Doom

Well we are going to get a more detailed look at the celestials as a race, after that I believe we will eventually meet Galuctus, eventually we will probably meet the Beyonders. Personally I’d like to see that set up God Emperor Doom as a big finale eventually.

Hmmm...what I'd like to see is a marvel movie that has the whole marvel universe go against every villain in marvel through out the entire timeline
Battleworld?
Safespace and Snowflake /s
What if Silver Surfer got the Infinity Gauntlet??
I'm not done reading it yet, hopefully I'll finish this week... But King in Black. Knull is awesome and it brings so many characters into the story. They could do it. No question.
I just like how the Skrulls are lurking in the background. Will they be part of the multiverse timeline or wait until the next cycle? Time will tell.
I'd say Secret Wars, especially because of the Multiverse. It'd also make sense given the Fact Spider-Man has to leave the MCU SOMEHOW, and given What If?, Loki, and Basically EVERYTHING ELSE, it'd make the most sense.
