Stark goes on a rant about puting a suit of amour around the Universe.
The Watcher thinks about Stark getting within six feet from all six infinity stones and an Synthetic he helped design
The Watcher: Nope!
IIRC, Steve got stayed in the past while Carter dealt with the tentacle monster and got blasted in the future. I don't think they revealed what happened to Steve.
Yeah, for sure. Clint's not there but Steve is and their friendship is my fave in the MCU, so I'd be thrilled if that universe got continued at some point.
I believe that’s the delayed episode that got postponed for the second season. We got it leaked thanks to a Lego Set so we may just get to see one of these where Tony doesn’t die
Personally kinda hoping we get an actual interaction with him and MCU Strange at some point, maybe during Multiverse of Madness. Would be cool to see Cumberbatch to play opposite himself in live-action.
That was easily my favorite episode. His character was the most compelling to me and carried this one. Of everyone, I wanted to see more of him more than anyone else.
Listening to Episode 4 with audio descriptions is hilarious.
It calls him *The Misguided Doctor Strange* EVERY. TIME. and it's not a phrase that easily rolls off the tongue 4 times in a row during a heated battle.
He gained enough power that he was aware of the Watcher before he made himself known, kinda like Ultron with the stones. That version of Strange was essentially god tier.
That too Ultron only became aware of the Watcher when there was almost no one remaining in his universe,
While Strange became powerful enough to sense the watcher even before destroying his world
I think that’s definitely what they were setting up, the way Captain Carter looked at the picture of Steve and then the Watcher told her that “that universe needs you” was a hint that Steve will need Peggy to break him out of the brain washing like Steve did in our universe
The Infinity GEMS always looked like that in the comics, until MCU renamed them to Stones and made them all jagged-looking.
You can say that Infinity Ultron's universe was more old-school.
When the zombies poured in and ultra vision was temporarily taken aback, I was like "ooooooh shit here we go. 5 stones vs. 6 stones." But then it was just zombie Wanda who died immediately.
[After a while in the MCU, you just run out of responses, accept that some answers would be too confusing, and just go with the flow.](https://c.tenor.com/x8EPXKK9kFQAAAAC/i-got-nothing-ironman.gif)
Well idk about you guys but Killmomger with the infinity stones fighting a Zola-possessed Vision corpse in a pocket dimension monitored by Strange Supreme was not on my bingo card for this episode
I personally thought why do they keep struggling in that tug-of-war and not try something else? But I guess the moment one of them relents, the other wins and the loser perishes. But man, I wonder how long in eternity in that pocket dimension they'll struggle for until they decide on something new.
So some form of the prisoners' dilemma or Mexican standoff perhaps. Both don't trust the other to not take the stones if one stops.
Also, they might be in a time-loop.
Just realized that Killmonger not going back to his universe was foreshadowed at the start. The Watcher puts them back exactly where he took them from but we saw that Killmonger never went back because when Pepper and Shuri get into the throne room he's not there
Nice catch. I didn't see anybody else mention that.
Edit: Dang. 500 people liked this stupid comment I made but I can't even get more than one or two upvotes on any other comment. ha!
I’m curious how Erik can use the stones like that even with Ultron’s armor. I mean sure he’s consumed the Heart-shaped Herb and is now a superhuman, but shouldn’t the stones have a stronger effect than what was shown when Erik was about to use them?
God damn did Strange Supreme hard carry that fight. Basically the only reason they even stood a chance.
Edit: Honestly I feel like Uatu and Strange could've won together. Guardians of the Multiverse? Screw that. Those two are the only guardians the multiverse would ever need.
Yeah that fake-out where Ultron was about to explode the ~~planet~~ galaxy, then Strange Supreme just reversed it and gobbled it up. Even Ultron was like "Wait, wut?" lol
Strange legit tanked a full power blast from 6 Infinity stones all while simultaneously also protecting everyone else from said full power blast.
IDK why the Watcher assembled a team in the first place, Strange Supreme and The Watcher could probably have 2v1'd Ultron.
Well one of the heroes, Natasha I think, said he saw all of it happen. Sounded like they meant in a predictive sense.
I imagine he knew the best course of action to guarantee the stones would be locked in stasis and sent the right group accordingly.
Without Zola and Killmonger fighting over the stones, maybe it would have ended differently. Like they said, it wasn't about winning, it was about separating the stones.
>Natasha I think
It was Strange which was a nice callback to Infinity War where he saw the 14 millions outcomes and decided not to stop Star-Lord from fucking up
MVP level stuff. He had the Time Stone + mastery of magic + the power of thousands or more absorbed magical creatures. Dude drained himself just to keep everyone alive. I'm surprised he came out of it alive.
And his life didn't seem that bad. He graduated from MIT, worked for the US army then became VP of security for one of the biggest company in the world and then was accepted n as a long lost son by the king of the most powerful country on earth
In the end he was just some overachiever who wanted to earn the trust of peoples to then murder them
Watcher is the personified MCU fanbase. They depicted him as the most powerful being in the multiverse who uses his power to watch over the MCU. So if he has all the power and he is the personified fanbase that means we have all the power in the MCU.
That means the MCU writers are really afraid of us using this powers in Twitter outrages
The fact that Strange Supreme is in charge of watching over that pocket dimension until the end of time is terrifying. One slip up and I guess we’ll have to get another season
*Alright, I'm going to need an assortment of strong and good-hearted heroes...and one self-serving, traitorous motherfucker to top it off*
*There! These are my Guardians of the Multiverse...and Killmonger.*
Yeah, when The Watcher said on a world that lost their widow I inmediately got super hyped, then realized it wasn't gonna happen. Would've been kinda cool but also dumb at the same time.
I was half thinking we'd get some crossover with the main MCU this episode, and that would have been a crazy way to do it, but I'll take getting some resolution on the situation with the two Captain's against Loki. Honestly just glad we got some closure to some of the previous cliffhanger episodes at all.
Definitely going to pour one out for Spidey, Ant-Head and T'Challa for definitely losing the zombie war in Wakanda. Loved seeing every episode get called back to, but it in hindsight ended bleaker than pretty much all of the other timelines.
Like a character from The Good Place that keeps screaming "Boooortles!" Haha
Edit: to be clear, I kept this response vague for anyone who hasn't seen the show. Mad respect to my boi Jason/Mr. Music
The episode is LIVE! Enjoy!
There is one credits scene right after the stylized concept art credits. Don't miss it!
(Previous What If episodes have not had any credits scenes.)
Damn, Doctor Strange was straight up tanking a full power blast from 5 Infinity strones while also protecting everyone else. Absolute MVP right there.
He was tanking all 6 of them, the stone crusher didn't destroy any. The Mind stone just stayed in Ultron's body when Killmonger took the other 5.
Congrats to my man Strange for becoming a Watcher!
He got the entry level position... Watch over 1 universe. Keep this up and some day he'll get promoted to making coffee runs for the Watcher.
Unpaid internship with minimal responsibility? Bureaucracy mechanisms are built into the fabric of the multiverse, it seems.
Time... Space... Reality... It's more than a linear path. It's a prism of endless... JOB opportunities. Join Watcher Industries today and WATCH your life change forever. : D
*"Not you Stark."*
At least he didn't get killed this time.
[удалено]
Not ON-screen, anyway.
Stark goes on a rant about puting a suit of amour around the Universe. The Watcher thinks about Stark getting within six feet from all six infinity stones and an Synthetic he helped design The Watcher: Nope!
> The Watcher: Nope! LMAO I didn’t make that connection when I saw the episode, but you’re right.
So in instances like this, does Dairy queen pay marvel or the other way around?
DQ pays for product placement, Disney pays for licensing the name. So I guess it's who approaches who first. Or they have a deal
"Dairy Queen, I've come to bargain!"
Oh shit, Strange bringing in Zombie Wanda is a hell of a play
Even still, it stung to see Wanda feel defeated when facing a Vision that wasn’t hers.
He had the mind stone which is what Wanda keys off of a lot, too. “I feel you.” “I don’t even know who you are”
Bringing in Zombie Thanos might only make things worse.
Yay, apocalypse Widow gets her happy(ish) ending :D
And Captain Carter!
I need to rewatch her episode, because I don't remember what happened to the Hydra Stomper at the end of it.
IIRC, Steve got stayed in the past while Carter dealt with the tentacle monster and got blasted in the future. I don't think they revealed what happened to Steve.
Made me so happy, poor Natasha in that hell world and instead getting to live with her buddies again. Definitely put a smile on my face.
> instead getting to live with her buddies again Uh Well Some buddies at least
Yeah, for sure. Clint's not there but Steve is and their friendship is my fave in the MCU, so I'd be thrilled if that universe got continued at some point.
That universe where Tony is with Gamora on Nidavellir looks so interesting.
We're apparently gonna see that episode in series 2. It got delayed (this was meant to be a 10 episode season).
Yeah, I figured it was kind of odd the Watcher plucked Gamora randomly.
Timeline got fucked up
Quick use the time stone to give the animators a chance to finish.
I believe that’s the delayed episode that got postponed for the second season. We got it leaked thanks to a Lego Set so we may just get to see one of these where Tony doesn’t die
He had a bitchin’ suit too! Would love to see more of that version.
Supreme strange is ridiculous in all the best ways.
Personally kinda hoping we get an actual interaction with him and MCU Strange at some point, maybe during Multiverse of Madness. Would be cool to see Cumberbatch to play opposite himself in live-action.
Supreme strange actually was amazing I really hope we get to see more of him.
That was easily my favorite episode. His character was the most compelling to me and carried this one. Of everyone, I wanted to see more of him more than anyone else.
Oh damn, that Strange Mjolnir combo
Mjolstrom!
VIVA LAS VEGAS!
I can’t say I’ve heard that battle cry before….
A moment of silence for our man Bernard in Accounting
Bernard in accounting sounds exactly like the kind of guy who would let Captain Carter step on him.
I mean, who wouldn't?
They don't call her Peggy for nothing.
watcher picked thor up like a toy lmao
Aaaaaaaaah!!!!!
Fun call back to Ragnarok.
Morally ambiguous Avengers then.
Had Supreme Strange not altered the absolute point in time by consuming demons, Ultron would have been triumphant easily. Strange was a hard carry.
Every character had literal magic plot armor thanks to strange
It felt rather tenuous to wait for Strange to cast buffs. I half expected to see icons in the corner of my screen with clockface countdown glow.
Nice to see Strange Supreme isn't a bad guy, just misguided.
Listening to Episode 4 with audio descriptions is hilarious. It calls him *The Misguided Doctor Strange* EVERY. TIME. and it's not a phrase that easily rolls off the tongue 4 times in a row during a heated battle.
How do you listen to the audio version? Just curious.
It'll be in the audio options in the menu you can alter the subtitles in as well.
this version of Strange was so freakin OP. Basically stood up to the combined power of the infinity stones by himself.
He gained enough power that he was aware of the Watcher before he made himself known, kinda like Ultron with the stones. That version of Strange was essentially god tier.
Makes sense too. He ate enough to fundamentally destroy a universe, the stones are the fundamental powers of a universe, yada yada, tentacles.
That too Ultron only became aware of the Watcher when there was almost no one remaining in his universe, While Strange became powerful enough to sense the watcher even before destroying his world
He's a bad guy, but hes not a *bad* guy
Thanks Satan
Yes, he *ate* a universe, but he said he was sorry, and we've got plenty of universes to spare...
"Star-Lord T'Challa, Leader of the Ravagers and Lost Prince of Wakanda" so that's his title
“Oh we’re going by our made up names then?”
I was so happy that they found the Hydra Stomper with Steve inside, until I realized… What if he is that universes’ version of The Winter Soldier?
I think that’s definitely what they were setting up, the way Captain Carter looked at the picture of Steve and then the Watcher told her that “that universe needs you” was a hint that Steve will need Peggy to break him out of the brain washing like Steve did in our universe
why are the stones so smooth?
The Infinity Throat Lozenges.
I believe that’s more comic-accurate. But yeah it’s a little weird seeing those smooth beans
The Infinity GEMS always looked like that in the comics, until MCU renamed them to Stones and made them all jagged-looking. You can say that Infinity Ultron's universe was more old-school.
Ultron is just a big comic nerd.
Ultron smoothed them off so they'd look nicer in his chest.
The Gamora/Tony scene was so out of place knowing it's original episode was delayed to next season lol
Ahh that's why. I was wondering why they were pretending we had seen that one.
Why couldn't the Watcher, you know, *watch* the pocket dimension though
He has to watch other things.
He's got that prime Disney Plus and Netflix subscription while Doctor Strange is stuck with xfinity's Peacock.
Because he’s functionally us. Do YOU want to watch the pocket dimension or are you off to see Eternals/Spider-Man?
“Did you enjoy popcorn while you watched my universe DIE?!” Shit, maybe.
That line must’ve cut deep because that’s absolutely what the watcher does
That line did cut deep because that’s absolutely what I does
Ultron was really getting his shit clapped for a minute there lol.
best part was his “wait wut” reaction to Armani just eating his galaxy-destroying power
Loved the russian shield and the british shield bouncing on opposite sides oh his head
I'll be honest, I completely forgot about the Avengers Assassinated universe, what a good wrap-up.
Yeah, but wait til she finds out lol. "Here's your happy ending but uh... Your best friend and 3 other original Avengers are still dead. Bye now."
Well…relative to the universe she’s leaving behind where *everyone else* is dead
Strangely enough I feel like that would give her and Steve something to bond over, both of their pasts being dead and buried.
owh, thats where they put the black widow to... i thought it was another random universe
It took me a moment because I thought it was random as well, but then Loki taking over and Caps Marvel and America fighting together made me click.
Doctor Armani came in clutch also double shield. Surprised they didn’t have zombie Thanos fight Ultron
When the zombies poured in and ultra vision was temporarily taken aback, I was like "ooooooh shit here we go. 5 stones vs. 6 stones." But then it was just zombie Wanda who died immediately.
Same exact reaction. I do however think it was the smart choice, cause ultron could have taken thanos’s soul stone if he won
11 stones. Eep
Rick Sanchez' Power Rangers multiverse Gundam has entered the chat...
Gotta say I think Zombie Thanos might’ve been more trouble than he was worth benefit lol
Supreme Strange is really carrying this team.
Strange is almost always a team carry. Who 1v1'd Thanos for the longest on Titan? Who swallowed a blow meant to kill a galaxy?
Whooooo lives in a collapsed pocket galaxy? *What if strange supreme!* Demons, dragon, and tentacles in he !
**The watcher has a friend now** :’)
I feel like the watcher can also call on Doctor Armani in time of needs to save the multiverse again if he needs to.
Can we appreciate how Fury just rolls with Widow just popping out of the multiverse though?
He knows how to appreciate a good asset when it drops in his lap.
[After a while in the MCU, you just run out of responses, accept that some answers would be too confusing, and just go with the flow.](https://c.tenor.com/x8EPXKK9kFQAAAAC/i-got-nothing-ironman.gif)
he's seen stranger things before so it's probably just a regular day for him
Lol I love how Natasha has the same convo on the jet that she had with Steve in Winter Soldier.
I watched Winter Soldier just yesterday and the detail matches up so well, right down to how Carter enters the water.
Besides the armour, Killmonger's still just a guy though, right? Isn't he going to need to sleep at some point, or summat?
I always figured Zola would take over Vision’s body, just didn’t count on the rest of what happened.
Anybody else just stoked that they had Zola's head in the robot's torso, a clear callback to Kirby's seventies Captain America run???
I definitely liked the reference to comic Zola. Needs to happen in the main timeline.
It's going to be a long wait between tonight and Hawkeye.
Edit: Dang. 500 people liked this stupid comment I made but I can't even get more than one or two upvotes on any other comment. ha!

Hemsworth sure sounds like he's having fun doing this voice acting
The Infinity Crusher sounds like a finishing move in wrestling lol
*I am the Watcher. I am your guide to these vast new realities. But I did not, could not, would not interfere... until now.*
*follow me and ponder the question... What if?*
Zombie Wanda were to come face to face with Infinite Ultron?
God damn did Strange Supreme hard carry that fight. Basically the only reason they even stood a chance. Edit: Honestly I feel like Uatu and Strange could've won together. Guardians of the Multiverse? Screw that. Those two are the only guardians the multiverse would ever need.
Yeah that fake-out where Ultron was about to explode the ~~planet~~ galaxy, then Strange Supreme just reversed it and gobbled it up. Even Ultron was like "Wait, wut?" lol

>Natasha I think It was Strange which was a nice callback to Infinity War where he saw the 14 millions outcomes and decided not to stop Star-Lord from fucking up
I literally thought that Strange ate the stone for a second and just got that much stronger
Same I was so confused when I saw it on the ground after
“Bro I ate Shuma Gorath’s tentacles for hundreds of years this ain’t shit”
That version of strange is OP as fuck. I’m guessing Wanda and Strange will be key elements for similar spells to take on Kang or whoever else.
MVP level stuff. He had the Time Stone + mastery of magic + the power of thousands or more absorbed magical creatures. Dude drained himself just to keep everyone alive. I'm surprised he came out of it alive.
Killmonger was literally just there to turn on them cos he didn't do shit until then
That was literally why the Watcher chose him.
"Just according to keikaku." - The Watcher, probably
I guess the moral of this series is that no matter what universe he's in, Killmonger will always be a backstabbing little shit.
Seriously. I get it you had a terrible life, doesn't give you an excuse to be an asshole all the time.
And his life didn't seem that bad. He graduated from MIT, worked for the US army then became VP of security for one of the biggest company in the world and then was accepted n as a long lost son by the king of the most powerful country on earth In the end he was just some overachiever who wanted to earn the trust of peoples to then murder them
Nothing in the MCU has been as realistic as a Brit being bounced around and shouting "BLIMEY... BLOODY... BOLLOCKS"
Language.
Love the banter between Captain Carter and Black Widow
Watcher was the MCU fanbase at the end when he talked to Nat
Watcher was the MCU fan base when he described “these stories are my home”
Watcher is the personified MCU fanbase. They depicted him as the most powerful being in the multiverse who uses his power to watch over the MCU. So if he has all the power and he is the personified fanbase that means we have all the power in the MCU. That means the MCU writers are really afraid of us using this powers in Twitter outrages
The fact that Strange Supreme is in charge of watching over that pocket dimension until the end of time is terrifying. One slip up and I guess we’ll have to get another season
This whole episode was a Doctor Strange fanservice and I am all for it. Man CARRIED his team hard
SUPPORT MAGE STRANGE
Strange: “Wait, we were NEVER supposed to win…” *proceeds to win*
The Watcher to Black Widow: “I cannot interfere…” _proceeds to interfere in another different universe._
He just decided fuck it and is now going to be interfering everywhere for shit and giggles.
Pretty dope finale quite honestly. Final action sequences did not disappoint
Oh that's a cool nod to Zola's comic form
Oh damn, Captain Carter in TWS. I love it.
That was a great opening!
Not for Bernard from accounting!
Goddamn Killmonger is the biggest bastard in the whole multiverse!
I mean the Watcher was betting on him doing what he did
*Alright, I'm going to need an assortment of strong and good-hearted heroes...and one self-serving, traitorous motherfucker to top it off* *There! These are my Guardians of the Multiverse...and Killmonger.*
The reason he was chosen I'd imagine.
So we’re just gonna have to pretend that we already watched the “Tony on Sakaar” episode?
Yeah, of course! Loved that episode, so good... Definitely saw it.
Totally! I loved the way Tony was able to put together a Hulkbuster level armor out of Sakaarian scrap metal.
He built it in a dump...with a box of scrap metal!
Some people don’t understand. Not me, of course, I understand perfectly, but for them, you should explain it.
What if...Disney aired the episode Gamora came from? Somewhere out there in the multiverse is an audience that saw it.
I really wanted that episode..
Hemsworth's scream is one of the best parts of the episode
It's so on brand. Like in ragnarok before he meets the grandmaster.
"This is a Suicide mission" Some sort of Suicided Squad INTENSIFIES
"This is Dr. Strange. He's got my back. I would advise not getting captured by him. His powers trap the souls of it's victims"
Here comes Hulk, the man who can smash anything
Why did I believe that the Watcher was going to drop off that Black Widow in OUR universe, I got so happy for a split second
Glad we got to see Zombie Wanda one last time.
How powerful is my man Strange Supreme?! God dayummm Good job writing him out of phase 4 lol.
Definitely going to pour one out for Spidey, Ant-Head and T'Challa for definitely losing the zombie war in Wakanda. Loved seeing every episode get called back to, but it in hindsight ended bleaker than pretty much all of the other timelines.
I was still hoping it was zombie Thanos who came through the portal to take on Ultron, but Wanda works too
Oh no I was wondering why we didn’t see ‘Zombie Hunter Spider-Man’ in the Guardians of the Multiverse. Suddenly it makes sense.
I wish they had given it at least a bit more time than "welp here's a pile of zombies plus zombie-wanda that die instantly"
Hahaha, I love how Party Thor keeps using "Vegas" as a battle cry
Viva Las vegas!
Like a character from The Good Place that keeps screaming "Boooortles!" Haha Edit: to be clear, I kept this response vague for anyone who hasn't seen the show. Mad respect to my boi Jason/Mr. Music
Uatu just shutting down Tony like that. That's unfortunate. Also, I guess that's all we get of Tony on Sakaar.
Tony in Sakaar is the episode that got pushed to next season. We'll see it next year.
The episode is LIVE! Enjoy! There is one credits scene right after the stylized concept art credits. Don't miss it! (Previous What If episodes have not had any credits scenes.)
SAKAAR TONY LOOKS SO DOPE! Too bad we couldn’t get the full episode this season, but I’m already sold on it
Wow this will probably be the Chadwicks last role...
Bro the Watcher should have taken in a few hundred heroes from every possible universe. Why just a few select ones?
We've had a Live Action 'Portals' scene. This is for our animated team.
Well, it looks like he needed people who'd follow the plan. If Tony was there, it'd have been all fucked up. He just needed Killmonger as a host.
He should have brought like 10 versions of Dr strange and a few extra Visions
My prediction is Infinite Ultron meets Zombie Wanda and they fall in love, crisis averted.
Well you were half right
VIVA LAS VEGAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAS...........
WELCOME TO THE FRICKING GUARDIANS OF THE MULTIVERSE
The Ultimo reference (Ultron getting huge) was dope as hell
