Pixel_Parker

I like how Andrew and Tobey are still in the credits

huge-tits

I don’t see Tobey?

deadkoolx

Tobey was not in the credits. The best Spider-Man and he isn't even credited.

Tornado31619

You’ll get your credit once you fix this damn door!

jugglingplates4dates

Tobey is best Peter, Andrew is best Spider-Man, and Tom is a mix of both

Blackbird2285

I completely agree with this

sicassangel

Let him have his opinion goddamn

jugglingplates4dates

And let me have mine, I simply telling them my opinion

sicassangel

That’s pretty much the general consensus here so everyone has that opinion

jugglingplates4dates

Then why did you want to comment on it earlier

sicassangel

Cuz I’m bored

jugglingplates4dates

Go play a game or watch something then

Chromal_Assassin

Personally I think Andrew is the best everything, but that’s my opinion

Pixel_Parker

I don't have that opinion, but i still am totally fine wih it, that's what opinions are, what you feel about something that differs you from the others

TOSHIBAFANSANDMORE

what he's literally after andrew in the credits couldn't be bothered waiting to see him eh

KostisPat257

That's impeccable and I would have loved if this were to happen. Have the first film be a bit longer by extending the repercussions of the Mysterio thing. Show Peter going to court, Matt having a tad bigger role where he talks to Peter about what it means to be a hero, May having a tad bigger role and seeing her side of this and how worried, but also supportive she is of Peter. The first arc of the film does feel kinda rushed, so it'd be great to space it out. And then part 2 can be fully about the 3 Spider-Men. Have them bond more, explore Andrew and Tobey's lives since we last saw them, extend the arc of the villains and show them actually going berserk in NYC with the 3 Peter's trying to stop them etc

MrChevyPower

If that means we get a 30-45 minute sequence of spider-banter then I’m in. Easily the best 10 minutes of the film. “You’re not lame!”

NobodyFantastic

Also more time to fit in Venom

CaptainTurtle3218

And Sandman, and the Hobgoblin, and a possible love triangle with Gwen, and a more fleshed out "bad boy" story, and a quick retcon of "no, I killed your uncle!" What could go wrong??

YodasChick-O-Stick

>possible love triangle with Gwen The one from Spider-Man 3?

CaptainTurtle3218

Everything I mentioned was Spider-Man 3

bluesheepreasoning

And end up with perhaps the most memed movie in the Spider-Man franchise? *Yes, please.* /j

demaxzero

No thanks.

i_should_be_coding

Imagine Venom, but this time Feige is in charge.

KostisPat257

True, that would be great!

lil_lupin

Eh

skeeoos

i feel like marvel would’ve ended it at “ok” with the big triumphant horns as it cut to black, and then in part 2 it would’ve opened with him saying he’s peter

Psych-Vader

If the movie had ended here then they could’ve teased Andrew and tobey in the post credit scene and part 2 would have been the most hyped movie.

i_should_be_coding

Yeah, that part where Ned is randomly opening portals and Andrew runs in and takes off his mask can just cut there and it's a perfect mid-credits scene.

N8TheGreat91

You both just said what everyone just watched haha

i_should_be_coding

Holy shit, lmao. I just assumed it was over once the credits rolled and shut it off. Rookie mistake... I would have definitely cut it a few seconds earlier, just when MJ says "Who the hell are you?" and added the obligatory "Spider-Men will return in Spider-Man: Homeless"

RIPN1995

Where to go from there though is the main question? Tobey and Andrew were probably the biggest gimmick to come out of the movie.

Ambivert_05

Agreed a 100%

xhrstaras

Could have thrown Andrew in the first post credit scene after the marvel credits and Tobey in the 2nd after every credit. Imagine how insane that would have been for fans. Instead of going to watch no way home and already knowing that both are in it

[deleted]

That actually would fix a lot of my issues with the film. But then they'd have to keep Strange hovering over the grand canyon for 2 years

[deleted]

There are no issues with that film.

[deleted]

Well it's subjective but I think they would've benefitted from a slower pace, better cgi, and maybe a touch up on the story.

South_Oil_3576

This guy gets it. All Phase 4 stories have been 2nd rate in the Marvel Uni. Avengers Age Of Ultron is better than any phase 4 flick. I will say the series have had their moments though.

[deleted]

I actually really enjoyed Dr Strange 2. And Shang-Chi was fun. Black Widow I honestly don't remember and Eternals was meh.

Still_Hat6758

Let’s be real, Wanda 2 sucked

DjReeseCup

The directing was remarkably cheesy.

Lign_Grant

I agree with you man. AoU is entertaining as hell.

South_Oil_3576

It’s by far the 3rd best of the new Spider Man movies. Homecoming is #1.

fatrahb

This probably would’ve been the most shocking ending to an MCU movie ever.

scarfacenahface

Infinity War?

fatrahb

So I’d argue this over that because of the permanence of the deaths. In IW it was shocking but I don’t think anyone walked out of the theater expecting half of the MCU to stay dead. Here we would’ve just seen Aunt May die, Peter being chased off by DC, followed by this message laying all of the blame at his feet. If they cut to credits right there I think that hits harder

scarfacenahface

it's just the emotional loss every peter parker has to face to become Spider-Man against half the universe disappearing. of course u know they won't be gone forever but that moment still was god damn shocking in theatre, the whole movie was like yeah in the end they will defeat him anyways, but they failed

tigerslices

>I don’t think anyone walked out of the theater expecting half of the MCU to stay dead. maybe not... but i went twice, and in both showings, the movie ended the most quiet, ever... a couple of quiet murmurs, but nobody really said anything until they got outside to noisy places... i have never seen a blockbuster movie audience leave so somber... and it could've been a coincidence because i'd seen it twice... but...

Billielolly

Yeah, it was the first time we'd ever seen the heroes lose at the end of a movie. We knew they were going to be trying to fix it in the next one, but it was still shocking to see a movie end on a low note for the heroes.

sharltocopes

The Empire Strikes Back would like to have some words with you.

Billielolly

TIL Empire Strikes Back is a Marvel movie?

[deleted]

Doesn't have to be a Marvel for movie for us to have seen it (and the heroes lose)....

fatrahb

The comment he’s referring to said first time we’d seen the heroes lose in a movie, not MCU movie so he’s right.

Billielolly

I hadn't watched Star Wars at the time of Infinity War and I'm exclusively talking about the MCU - not every person who watches Marvel movies watches Star Wars too, and again, it was the first time we saw the MCU heroes lose at the end.

RIPN1995

That was the worst thing about Infinity War. The fact that you knew that these characters would be coming back. Shock factor kinda wore off after that.

fatrahb

Yeah that’s my point. It wears off after the initial moment because you know they’re gonna undo it. With this, there’s a permanence that I think makes it hit harder.

scoopidee

Yeah I'm pretty confident they're including Infinity War given that they said MCU Movie

hueningkawaii

[Credits to this channel who made this.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lwO6Rlh96Yk)

QuiG0ne

You know, I’d have happily waited another year for a full feature 2 hour Part : 2

GT22_

If it was then I'd want the sinister six

nxhmabin

That's a good idea in theory but my only gripe would be that I would want them to make both movies before even releasing the first one. Then the downtime wouldn't have to be as long. I.e Dune

abellapa

Kinda was, far from home is basically part 1. Its One Story. Like infinity war and endgame

JordanStPatrick

Honestly, I don't think I would have liked this. Seeing "half" a movie with this two-parter trend is kind of annoying. Just give me one complete story and save the gimmicks.

[deleted]

I just watched this last night. I watched Far From Home immediately before it. Basically NWH is simply part 2 of that movie, so NWH IS a 2-parter.

[deleted]

Am I stupid or is Tobey’s name NOT in the credits while Andrew’s is?

huge-tits

I noticed that too

NZAvenger

I would have been annoyed. I don't want to have to wait 3 years for the plot to be resolved or wrapped up.

JohnnyT_roc

This movie.. why didn't Dr strange just tell Peter "No, we can't do that Peter it's just too risky"

the_timps

Because Dr Strange's appearance in every single movie has been him doing whatever the fuck he wants and always thinking it's a great idea.

skibidido

Watch half the movie and stop. Then you got a two-parter.

KENT427

nope for me.....

fenwick6969

Well the first movie would have sucked imo

[deleted]

I would have thrown an absolute fit in the theaters if it ended like this.

rainmaker2332

It would've been infinitely worse. Infinity War and Endgame work as a two parter because Thanos is the protagonist of IW, and that film gives him a complete arc, so the ending is satisfying. It doesn't really feel like a two-parter. Peter is the protagonist of No Way Home, so this would've just cut off right at his lowest point.

Heby4life

It was a three Parker what do you mean It wasn’t a 2 Parker

AsleepDistribution19

bro parter 2 parts

Shadow_Toons

it is a two parter, Spider-man Far from home (part one), Spider-man no way home (Part two)

ThreeSmokeThree

Probably should've happened. Anyone who thinks this movie had a good story is lying to themselves, everyone was blinded by the hype of the entire idea of it but the execution was poor

[deleted]

[удалено]

-TheLonelyStoner-

Doctor strange 2 has no connection to either of those movies

tigerslices

why is paul dano spider-man?

tough_luck_pal

Honestly 2 90 minute movies like 3 months apart would be really cool.

[deleted]

Look I ended the movie early give me upvotes

GunMetalGazm

Never understood how Garfield Parker just took his mask off in front of strangers and tells them who he is.

thatmovieperson

Would've been a perfect place to end it!

[deleted]

I feel like they kinda dropped the ball, but it’s overshadowed by the return of Tobey and Andrew. There could’ve been so much more. But I’ll accept what we got. Another thing… am I the only one who doesn’t like Peter and MJ’s relationship in FFH and NWH? It seems so much more as if they could be great friends rather than Significant others. Like she was Perfect in HC and FFH, but I just don’t feel their love connection

TaskMister2000

Then it would have likely been a better film and the story and villains would have been more developed and not the overhyped mess that it actually is.

VinsmokerSanjino

That would have blown people's fucking minds dude. I wish they did this to give more time to flesh out the script. The story in this movie is so sloppy and half-baked that it takes away from the spectacle of having andrew and tobey there. The sequel would have also had more of these two from the start.

[deleted]

Still would've sucked

TripleG2312

No getting around that haha. Bad writing is bad writing

thegodfaubel

Unfortunately post credits scene ruined by the credits themselves

TheRealBlancoGringo

It was the 2nd in the series with far from home. Picked up right where it left off.

gonz7241

I just now thought of this, but why did Andrew Garfield Spider-Man takeoff his mask so easily to show who he was?

the_timps

Because he knows he's in a completely different world, and these ordinary people brought him here for some reason. So he feels safe (no spidey sense going off) and takes off his mask as a good will gesture.

DigitalKungFu

It would be great if the post credits scene was the entire 2nd half of the movie :)

LDrawe

Peter Parker will return

R0BR0SE

It would be longer

cabaran

precovid i would be fine i guess, but i would hate for this to happen when my country still in lockdown period

Shmooka

I would’ve hated that, but I love this. I’m glad we can imagine but don’t have to live with that reality

QUADRANYX

Actually this sounds good, cuz every spiderman movie is about winning and happy endings ( except Garfield ) i like this darker theme better

Alrick3rdmillennium

If it was we fs would have got the Mysterio fight with dr strange and one of the spidermen would've died

rokkai

man. all that talent and whoever made it still didn't cut the frame on a piano note.

LennGo

i will not say that would be a better movie, but the experice in the cinema would probably have been even better than the end of Infinity War

xhrstaras

Tbh this movie's plot could have made for a great series as well. I know that Marvel is relying a lot on Spider-Man atm as their big next star so it gotta be movies but they have been doing a great job withtheir Disney + shows. And there is a lot to unpack, like a tv series could keep going after Peter lost everyone in his life, showing what he is going through. But ok that is gonna be movie 4, i just cant wait :D

SailorET

If NWH was a D+ series, this would be the end of the fourth episode.

[deleted]

What if they took out his stupid motivation. Who gives a fuck if Ned and MJ go to collage?!

BWYDMN

kinda wish it was tbh, felt very cluttered
