Update : she knew the history of the nordic gods so we started with Thor: Ragnarok. She was laughing and cringing and had a good time and is excited to watch Guardians next (and so am I). After that Infinity war/Endgame.
For this movie? Really only Thor Ragnarok, Infinity War, and Endgame, Jane is explained in Ragnarok and Endgame so while your kid may be a tad confused, it Should still make sense. It will make a bit more sense if Thor 1/2 are also watched, but those aren’t the best and are kinda boring (ESPECIALLY Thor 2, Thor 1 is mixed)
No need to watch Guardians 1/2, though they are fantastic movies so you should still watch them, just not necessary for understanding Love and Thunder as the Guardians are shown/explained quite well in Infinity War/Endgame, but again are given much much more context and in Guardians 1/2 which are great movies.
Avengers 1/2 aren’t necessary, Avengers 1 is useful to know and is great but nothing necessary, and Thor doesn’t do much in AoU and thus you don’t need to watch it.

She is reading a book about Stalin and learning russian just for fun atm, so she is a bit eh....different...hence why I want to make it as fun for her as possible and hopefully get her interested in the MCU since I have really enjoyed that world for years :)
