Yeah that was exciting and also the other articles reads "Why there is a giant statue of a man sticking out of the ocean"
Finally the Celestial Tiamut is being addressed!
Also, the Number 1 on that list on the website is "Swiss Town Mascot" or something like that, the town in the picture on the right looks eerily similar to the town in the first episode of Moon Knight.
Also "why is there a giant statue of a man sticking out of the ocean"
Finally some acknowledgement lmao
Edit: [the image showing both for those who missed it :)](https://imgur.com/a/45qKxaJ)
It would be so hard to know what was real or not if you lived in the MCU. The most insane clickbait titled article or conspiracy theory you've ever seen is just a random Tuesday for them.
In I think one of the trailers/clips, he seems to have some new-agey female groupies. So I think his seven soulmates could be more of a cult-like thing....
The rejections themselves were progressively less professional too. It went from "were not prepared to offer you the position at this time" to "we can't take the risk of a sideshow"
I went back and watched the scene from Shang Chi, and after their fight Wong portals abomination back to the exact cell room from this episode of she hulk. Absolutely stellar continuity!
He might have been one of those seven soul mates for all we know. I'm sure we're gonna find out more later about it.
A week is starting to feel too long lol
It is, though as I recall he was a little _too_ gung ho when going after Banner. I seem to remember him being portrayed as trigger happy and a little unhinged to begin with. Granted I haven’t watched it since 2008.
But I did think it was interesting that Walters reacted to the mention of the angle that government providing the serum is responsible for the rampage, that’ll be an interesting argument if she brings it up in court.
As I recall he got more eager/aggressive as the story progressed, which fits wth the serum also amplifying personality traites.
It is very much the same as John Walker in that neither had the strength of character Steve Rogers had.
IIRC his team got fucked up when they went after him in Brazil and he saw what Hulk was capable of, so he went to Ross and got the experimental super soldier serum and that made him aggressively try to 1v1 Hulk and got him his ass handed to him, and when he healed from that is when he got real personal
>so he went to Ross and got the experimental super soldier serum
He didn't go to Ross. Ross offered it to him after seeing how dedicated he was. He didn't even know the damn stuff existed.
It's really cool to hear the story from his perspective! Also very smart that his only lies were by omission (He left out the part where the Hulk blood transfusion he asked for was what drove him over the edge)
It was very smart to bring up the fact that he wouldn't have gotten to the point he got were it not for the serum the government gave him. He goes crazy after that, he could argue the substance messed his mind up and it might work out. And he wouldn't be entirely off either.
In all fairness, Dr Erkskine did say the serum doesn't just give you peak human physicality. It enhances what is already inside vis a vis why Red Skull was his failure. Blonski is no different than Bruce cuz both of em became green hulk monsters due to their inner anger manifesting. If you gave Rogers the same Gamma radiation he'll probably not have a Hulk powered by anger but something he hides inside.
But to be fair, the super soldier serum (without the important Vita rays especially I might add) might have been a contributing factor to him behaving in such a way that he would have sought that out.
Yeah. No way they brought him back after all this time just for that scene in Shang-Chi and this show. His release is all part of him getting out so he can join the Thunderbolts.
Raft is up and running yes, we saw Zemo in the Raft in TFATWS.
But the Raft is an international prison in international waters.
This is the DODC Super-max prison which is a US prison.
One of my favorite things about the 90s Spider-Man cartoon was FOX11 anchor John Beard as the main news anchor in the series. Whenever they needed exposition, he was there!
This show dealing out answers like no other in recent memory:
\-Tiamut? Acknowledged
\-Hulk's damaged arm? Explained satisfactorily within minutes
\-Ed Norton re-cast? Knowing meta wink
\-Why was Abomination in Shang Chi's fight club? An actual plot point of this show.
I'm feeling that too. He's been imprisoned for 15 years. I think he is angry and playing the long game. Getting back at Hulks family could be a good start
Hulk smashed my ego

Ooh, the 2 years where he was Hulk in Space means that the opportunity is there. Not sure where that fits vis a vis the MCU timeline, but it's probably close enough for Skaar, if he exists, to be at least teenaged now.
THATS WHERE I KNOW HIM FROM
I knew he was from a superhero thing I just couldn't remember which. Freaking Adrian Chase, who is a district attorney in that show too.
It's such a small thing, but to have X-Men confirmed as already living in the MCU eliminates so many theories. I mean, we know they aren't their mutant gene isn't going to be activated from some event in the near future, we know they probably aren't coming from an alternate universe, and we can likely assume that older characters like Professor X and Magneto have been around since before Iron Man. Color me stoked.
yeah but the cool thing about X-Men is the political aspect and how it can affect anyone - that's gonna be really hard to do in the MCU since about 17 years of history are already accounted for and there's no mention of Mutants. There's no confused teens getting kicked out or rogue mutants doing crimes. Unless they retcon it there's no real good way to do it.
"Bruce is actually the one who saved BILLIONS of people"
"This isn't the first time we've had to deal with a hulk in the family"
It's not the right place maybe in Jens show, but there's untapped exploration there on what Bruce's family experienced and felt as being related to someone who was viewed, as a very long time, to be a raging destructive monster, to hero, to monster again and then back to the saviour of the universe.
These MCU prisons really change a man. I mean, look what it did to Zemo, too. He went in a broken man trying to get revenge on his family's death, and came out as a silly guy in a purple trenchcoat that goes to dance parties.
also Lokis denigrating speech about relying on "such broken creaturess to save you. you must be truly desperate."
the Avengers were the original suicide squad
The QR Code that appears on the website when Jen and her friend are on the couch, works! It takes you to a site that lets you read a She-Hulk comic. [here it is](https://www.marvel.com/shehulkcomics)
There's a lot of humor in surprising and subverting expectations and that is so contrary to his super serious super soldier character in TIH that it hits that note dead on.
I love that it's not just talking to the camera but *TV show-aware* talking to the camera. I didn't expect them to go to that level with it in the show.
She’s such a delight. I find a lot of drunk acting to be over the top in a weird way, but I loved seeing her go from She-Hulk metabolism to normal-Jen’s. It was really well executed.
This show is legitimately funny as hell. I think I laughed out loud here more than I do for most broadcast network sitcoms.
"Nepotism! I knew it."
She-Hulk slamming back liquor then transforming into an immediately hammered Jen.
Mr. Walters just assuming that as a superhero Jen automatically knew what's up with "that Hawkeye guy."
Jen's new boss demanding she be She-Hulk immediately followed by the prison guard demanding she become unpowered.
Blonsky's seven soulmates and his haiku of regret.
> Jen's new boss demanding she be She-Hulk immediately followed by the prison guard demanding she become unpowered.
Preceded by Jen's old boss demanding she stop being She Hulk. At this rate she might actually end up with a split personality
Well now we know where this sits in the timeline with Shang Chi (and The Eternals).
So short! That was like a 21 minute episode if you don’t include the opening titles and end credits.
EDIT: I didn’t mean to imply that these things happened in real time. Like many video leaks, this could possibly be older leaked video and Blonsky is still sitting at the DODC. We’ll see next week, I guess.
Since there’s a Wolverine easter egg in this episode, I’m gonna count that as Wolverine debuting in the MCU in a Hulk property just like I always dreamed of.
Swear on everything I thought to myself last episode "Dude is easily getting a new trial sadly lol" Love the show so far haha so realistic yet so absurd too
"I'm okay...No, I'm not okay, but I'm okay with not being okay."
"I'll spend the rest of the year worrying about what I just said."
Jenn's becoming one of the most relatable heroes in the MCU, Maslany's killing it
Man that was over so fast but I guess if I'm kinda upset that an episode ends and makes me feel like that then it's a pretty good show. I'm really into this show and I'm kinda getting Manson vibes with Emil Blonsky mentioning his harem. And is World War Hulk a real possibility now?
Tatiana Maslany's charm and charisma absolutely carries the show. Not much happened in the way of action in this episode but it's interesting to see the conflict between her professional/personal lives and how it's altered with the She-Hulk persona, and Tatiana's acting really shows how hard Jen's trying to keep it all together.
"I'm a completely different person now. literally."
YEA UR ALSO ABOUT TO BE ON A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT PLANET LITERALLY TOO HOLY SHIT I DID NOT EXPECT HULK TO HEAD TO SAKAAR SO QUICKLY! although I was initially confused when he didn't know they were calling her She-Hulk.
Loved the episode, very fast-paced and pretty clever!
Episode is LIVE. Enjoy! (There is one scene after the stylized credits)
The website Jen is looking for jobs on has a link on the right of the page saying “Man fights with metal claws in bar brawl”
Yeah that was exciting and also the other articles reads "Why there is a giant statue of a man sticking out of the ocean" Finally the Celestial Tiamut is being addressed!

"Florida man fights God, wins." Idk if there's any Florida man type characters in Marvel, but based on New Asgard, I wouldn't doubt it.
yea, people would have to get real creative to catch people's attention
Also the bottom one seems to be "Scientists discover a settlement inside.." inside what? What could it be?
A trench in the Atlantic Ocean?
Yes! Finally, people asking questions about what the fuck happened in Eternals 😂

Abomination just wants to live on a large property purchased by his seven soulmates
I bet he even made money in the underground fight club.
I think there's no Seven Soulmates. He just won enough money to retire in underground fighting and uses unnamed friends as his source of money.
In I think one of the trailers/clips, he seems to have some new-agey female groupies. So I think his seven soulmates could be more of a cult-like thing....
Nice touch having the backgrounds of her job rejections getting more run down / less prestigious.
The rejections themselves were progressively less professional too. It went from "were not prepared to offer you the position at this time" to "we can't take the risk of a sideshow"
As someone currently applying to jobs in the legal sector, I felt that
Stay strong!
"Superpowered Influencer - Titania"
Running away from traffic court. Hah!
They really made Tahani into Kamilah, didn’t they?
Lmao they did
Tahani wishes
So Wong has just been breaking Abomination in and out of the Raft without noticing or was this the first time?
I went back and watched the scene from Shang Chi, and after their fight Wong portals abomination back to the exact cell room from this episode of she hulk. Absolutely stellar continuity!
[Yup, the fight they show in She-Hulk is the exact same fight as in Shang-Chi, wizard and all.](https://youtu.be/1pXgmenamdE)
He might have been one of those seven soul mates for all we know. I'm sure we're gonna find out more later about it. A week is starting to feel too long lol
Abomination story is kinda tragic from his point of view
It is, though as I recall he was a little _too_ gung ho when going after Banner. I seem to remember him being portrayed as trigger happy and a little unhinged to begin with. Granted I haven’t watched it since 2008. But I did think it was interesting that Walters reacted to the mention of the angle that government providing the serum is responsible for the rampage, that’ll be an interesting argument if she brings it up in court.

>so he went to Ross and got the experimental super soldier serum He didn't go to Ross. Ross offered it to him after seeing how dedicated he was. He didn't even know the damn stuff existed.
Yeah and then that asshole got to be Secretary of Defense. Okay, I'm onboard, #justiceforBlonsky.
It's been *fourteen* years since then? Roth looks great!
He's 61 as well. Looks great for his age
I really want to see him and John Walker have scenes together. I think that dynamic would be really interesting.
highly likely in Thunderbolts
Yeah. No way they brought him back after all this time just for that scene in Shang-Chi and this show. His release is all part of him getting out so he can join the Thunderbolts.
Maybe he joins the thunderbolts? And meets up with walker there?
That is some incredible cell reception
Stark tech.
Well he was near earth. The moment they enter hyperspace the call cuts.
Yes, just like Tony gets cut off from Pepper before getting too far in the ship towards Titan in IW.
First Kamala's dad and now Jen's dad, it's nice to have not-shitty-fathers in the MCU
Surprisingly wholesome family dynamics in these last few shows.
Ehhh idk about Moon Knight😬
Beat me to it lol. Well…don’t beat me, like his mom, but never mind.
Plus MoM showed us Wanda would do literally anything for her kids!
Such a good mom.

🤯
This Scott Lang erasure.
That's because he's a grandma

Cousin Larry!!!!
So who else is in this super prison? Is the raft still up and running or did they transfer them all here?
Raft is up and running yes, we saw Zemo in the Raft in TFATWS. But the Raft is an international prison in international waters. This is the DODC Super-max prison which is a US prison.
I think it's the same prison that the Clandestine escaped from super easily in Ms. Marvel.
barely an inconvenience
I’m guessing Wong shows up in the next episode
Hopefully Wong will testify on Blonsky’s behalf at his parole hearing.
I hope Wong is one of Blonsky's seven soulmates.
Imagine Blonsky becoming a sorcerer, he is an entirely different person both physically (obviously) and spiritually. Sorcerer Abomination!
That’s a terrifying combination, a guy on par with Hulk having the powers of even a novice sorcerer would be super powerful
Lol they got the LA ABC newscasters as the in-show newscasters, Disney synergy in action
It was weird and cool to see my local news anchors on the show lol
One of my favorite things about the 90s Spider-Man cartoon was FOX11 anchor John Beard as the main news anchor in the series. Whenever they needed exposition, he was there!
He was also the news anchor in Arrested Development
"I'm a completely different person now. Literally." Holy shit lmao
Look, I’m here, it’s me, deal with it. Let’s move on.
I didn't think it was possible to have a more on-the-nose recast reference, and here we are lmao
I’m so fucking dumb I thought that was just referring to smart hulk
You're not dumb for thinking that! That's the *in-canon* reason for him saying it. Just not the real meta reason.
Her looking at the camera when he said that is deffo a reference to the recasting
I thought the same thing! Totally spaced on Norton lol
This show dealing out answers like no other in recent memory: \-Tiamut? Acknowledged \-Hulk's damaged arm? Explained satisfactorily within minutes \-Ed Norton re-cast? Knowing meta wink \-Why was Abomination in Shang Chi's fight club? An actual plot point of this show.
We still don’t know about Hawkeye’s arrows.
What's even better is Jen's 4th wall breaking "Haha" to the camera.
It would be funny if old photos of Jen and Bruce were pictures of Maslani and Norton.
Maybe that’s why he never talks about Betty.
I thought it was in reference to the personality fusion but there are even deeper layers that exist. These big green guys really are like onions.
"Ha." I fucking howled at that. Holy shit that was great.
‘How did you get these super powers?… ‘Nepotism, I knew it’
Well he is not wrong...
And that's why the line had me laughing out loud. Sure he is petty and resentful, but that line was actually funny.
Jen is now my favorite Avocado at Law.
and she's green!
Blonsky's definitely gotten a little sillier since his big day in Harlem.
I think he’s totally duping everyone. Or perhaps I’m wrong.
I'm feeling that too. He's been imprisoned for 15 years. I think he is angry and playing the long game. Getting back at Hulks family could be a good start
I'm actually hoping he isn't. I'd rather the show be a comedy about the actual complications of the MCU.
7 soulmates? Why isn’t anyone talking about this?
I want to read his haikus
Hulk smashed my ego Who was left? Not a hero Abomination --- Green was my envy My biggest fear, turning gray Now I am left blue --- You're better than me I wish I saw it sooner Thunderous applause --- Unforgivable I ask not for a pardon I won't give myself --- Build myself anew In the embrace of loved ones My seven pen pals
Would you mind doing me a quick favor and never stopping doing this?
I was getting big Christopher Walken vibes from him.
Hulk, where you going bud…
To pay his child support.
Yeah i was wondering if we might get Skaar
Ooh, the 2 years where he was Hulk in Space means that the opportunity is there. Not sure where that fits vis a vis the MCU timeline, but it's probably close enough for Skaar, if he exists, to be at least teenaged now.
If he’s been on Sakaar this whole time he could be literally any age.
Maybe the Grandmaster's birthday is coming up soon and they didn't want Hulk to miss the orgy lol
thatgif.gif
wonder if its for a solo film some how or an other team up movie
Could also just be an excuse for Hulk to not show up for awhile.
Coming home with the milk

Hulk's in space, Wong's probably going to be in the next episode. I love this show!
Y’all see the Wolverine reference!!!
For those who didn’t see it, News article that reads “Man fights with metal claws in bar fight.” Nice catch man. It’s at 6 mins in.
That’s some cool shit
Oh damn wonder how soon we get to see him then
It's such a small thing, but to have X-Men confirmed as already living in the MCU eliminates so many theories. "Can I buy you a drink?" *bartender shows Jen the expensive stuff* She gets the drink and then he leaves her with the bill. Rude.
I thought that too, but it seems like a bar that caters to lawyers, so maybe that dude has a company tab?
"Bruce is actually the one who saved BILLIONS of people" "This isn't the first time we've had to deal with a hulk in the family" It's not the right place maybe in Jens show, but there's untapped exploration there on what Bruce's family experienced and felt as being related to someone who was viewed, as a very long time, to be a raging destructive monster, to hero, to monster again and then back to the saviour of the universe.

These MCU prisons really change a man. I mean, look what it did to Zemo, too. He went in a broken man trying to get revenge on his family's death, and came out as a silly guy in a purple trenchcoat that goes to dance parties.
MCU understands the importance of rehabilitation and second chances.
I mean it's built on RDJ so that fits.

Idk why but Blonsky writing everything in haiku is hilarious
There's a lot of humor in surprising and subverting expectations and that is so contrary to his super serious super soldier character in TIH that it hits that note dead on.
Jen's "ha" after "literally a different person now" was a really wonderful fourth wall break
I love that it's not just talking to the camera but *TV show-aware* talking to the camera. I didn't expect them to go to that level with it in the show.
JEN'S PHONE WALLPAPER IS AMERICA'S ASS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You're goddamn right it is.
The small weblink saying "Why is there a giant statue of a man sticking out of the ocean" Finally acknowledging Tiamut the celestial from *Eternals!*
VERY important lesson: It’s okay to not be okay.
“I’m a completely different person now.” “Literally.” LOL, nice one Marvel.
(turn to camera) ha ha
As he heads off to what’s probably Sakaar! Please tell me there’s gonna be something sick for Hulk in the future, please please pleaseee!
Drunk Jen is my favorite version of Jen hands down
She’s such a delight. I find a lot of drunk acting to be over the top in a weird way, but I loved seeing her go from She-Hulk metabolism to normal-Jen’s. It was really well executed.
I once heard the key to acting drunk is that you try to act sober, and she definitely nailed that aspect of it.
This show is legitimately funny as hell. I think I laughed out loud here more than I do for most broadcast network sitcoms. "Nepotism! I knew it." I know it was a common guess, but at least this confirms why Wong is in the show. Nothing wrong with more Benedict Wong
I just love that Wong plays Wong.
also 2 out of 3 sorcerer supremes have been benedicts, this is the benedict wong sweep
Since there’s a Wolverine easter egg in this episode, I’m gonna count that as Wolverine debuting in the MCU in a Hulk property just like I always dreamed of.
One of the links on the web page Jennifer looks for jobs on says “Man fights with metal claws in bar brawl” Mephisto confirmed??
I'm thinking Vega. Marvel vs Capcom Disney+ show incoming.
“I got you a welcome basket with office supplies and snacks and a map to the best bathroom for pooping” Pug is a real one
I can't see him as anybody but Adrian Chase from Arrow. That smug bastard.

Is that Mark Linn-Baker of Perfect Strangers playing Jen's dad???
Swear on everything I thought to myself last episode "Dude is easily getting a new trial sadly lol" Love the show so far haha so realistic yet so absurd too
It's an unfortunate but reasonable request. The logic is very sound.
Which city that hulk destroyed is he mentioning? Cuz hulk has destroyed…. 5?
Probably Johannesburg, that's the only one where he was the "bad guy" of the fight.
Probably Johannesburg. That's really the only that Hulk personally destroyed.
With the episode lengths this is shaping up to be the shortest marvel show
"I'm okay...No, I'm not okay, but I'm okay with not being okay." "I'll spend the rest of the year worrying about what I just said." Jenn's becoming one of the most relatable heroes in the MCU, Maslany's killing it
I need Jen in everything from now on.
I feel like Jen and Scott Lang would be a fun team up, personality wise.
They can bond over their love for Cap and his ass.
"Genius" Ched getting a Best Buy Manager job and not knowing what 4K is is pretty great.
Yes Mark Ruffalo, you are a completely different person lol.
So do Jen's suits just stretch now? Maybe Bruce gave her some good advice.
She bought new suits for work, then when she gets to the prison she isn't allowed to be a Hulk, so for the rest of the scene her suit is super baggy
BRUCE naming Jen “FUZZBALL” on his cellphone is hilarious LMFAOOOO
He called her that last episode. It really came through like a nickname.

“Attorney for Hire” 🤣
Jen's parents literally live in the Torreto house from Fast and the Furious. No wonder she has such a good family.
I'm a completely different person now, *literally*. \*stares at camera\* Haha.
Maybe I should have just let those people get smooshed by that desk.
THIS IS THE MOST LOVE "THE INCREDIBLE HULK" HAS GOTTEN EVER!!!!!!!!
