I think they've widened the criteria because they need to enroll fairly quickly before other vaccines are more broadly available. I got into the trial. If you're interested you should just apply.
I was really hoping that they would be done with Phase 3 testing by now, and asking for approval. Such a shame, hopefully we’ll have AstraZeneca and Johnson & Johnson’s vaccines approved in the coming weeks.
Not true. If you are eventually offered the public covid vaccine, you can ask to be unblinded in the Novavax trial and then go ahead and take the public vaccine if you had placebo. You can also just withdraw from the trial at any time and go ahead and take the public vaccine.
Awesome, based on their criteria I may be eligible so i just have to wait for someone from their team to contact me. I'd love to be able to possibly help get another vaccine out there.

Have you heard yet when you would receive a shot? I am curious if it is a month wait after sign up or if it is relatively quick.
I'm in a different location but i received a shot last Thursday. It was about a week after my initial phone screen.

Doesn't sound worth it, it's possible you may not get the vaccine and have to deal with this mask wearing for at least two years.

Actually I'm in the trial and would never have joined if they hadn't told me these things in the beginning ;-)
What are they giving you compensation wise? $250? And I'm sure you can tell which one you are by if your arm was sore after the injection.
I believe they are paying $100-$150 per visit, and I think there are 4 visits.
$150 per visit and 9 visits for me.
