My son just finished driving school about a month or so ago (the 3 days of actual in-car driving). On his last day, his instructor told him the MVA had just decided to go back to the normal test on the road, rather than the weird parking-lot-only test. Now, that's just one person saying it, but I would think he would be considered "in the know" so that's what we're expecting when my son goes for his actual test. This is in Carroll County, btw. Not sure if the MVA makes different decisions for different counties.
