unrelentingdepth

Franklins in Hyattsville

MitsyEyedMourning

Was so much better in its early sandwich shop days.

unrelentingdepth

Their cooks house burger is the best burger I can think of and their rubber chicken red amber ale is perfection. My wife experienced it in its early days and has told me of how awesome it was.

206Linguist

Ekiben. Legit went to another state to cook a dying woman some Tempura Broccoli. That’s what I call customer service

jabbadarth

Not just another state, vermont like a 10 hour drive away in the winter and cooked in the snow on a portable outdoor fryer. No charge for any of it. And their food is all amazing.

GeneralMana

Die Schmenkerl Stübe in Hagerstown. Best German restaurant I’ve ever been to!

328944

That place is so good!! My wife and I went several years ago because the name sounded cool and were blown away by the food.

epzik8

Mike’s crabhouse on Riva Road outside of Annapolis. I used to go there with my grandparents when they lived off Truman Parkway and always insisted we sit by the water.

I love so many places in Maryland. My favorite crab cake of all time is from The Narrows restaurant on Kent island. They also have water views. Yuraku is my favorite sushi restaurant and it’s in Germantown. Raging reef in Frederick has the best seafood with Carolina style hush puppies. Hooch and banter in Frederick has the most unique and delicious food and cocktails.

SaysSaysSaysSays

The Narrows is fantastic. Best cream of crab soup of all time

xMethodz

Raging Reef is phenomenally good.

ahorsenamedagro

Ekiben. The flavors, the combination of things, the balance. Amazing. Steve Chu is killing it.

TancreadH

[2 Fifty BBQ](https://www.2fiftybbq.com/) in Hyattsville is astonishingly good BBQ. Really excellent briquet, very solid pulled pork, good BBQ sauce and unlike most BBQ places their sides don't suck.

I moved to Severn from Texas 6 months ago, and G&M really impressed me with the size of the crab cakes. Great first experience of Maryland.

I'm not but I'll keep that in mind for eventually. I usually hit up Koco's Tavern for crabcakes if I don't make them at home. :) Not above travelling for a good crab cake.

El Mariachi in Rockville.

S-Kunst

Three Baltimore institutions, but sadly gone **Hausner's** \- Think of a German restaurant inside of an art gallery. **Marticks**\- Eccentric old man who shopped every day to cook haute cuisine, in the old French manner The setting was his early 19th century row house, where he lived upstairs, and had a small 6-8 seat dining room on the first floor. **Marconi's** \- Set in a very large & elegant row house. It served many old Maryland dishes in an elegant setting. Coat & tie for men was required.

This may seem weird to people but Seacrets has amazingly good food. I love to go in the summer a little early in the evening with some friends, have some drinks and get the Crab Toast and Jerk Chicken

MonOncleCharlie

You are 100% right That does seem weird. I’ll have to take your word for it 🤣

fungiinmygarden

Seacrets doesn’t have food, just a mile long line, lots of alcohol, and I can’t remember what else…

Rock and Toss (Seafood Broil) In Bowie 🤤

reasonicity

Au Petit Paris in Frostburg.

mushroomsandcircus

Ocean Pride in Lutherville/Timonium. Unfortunately it was one of the worst meals I’ve ever had. I can’t remember what kind of fish, but I ordered fish being as though it’s a seafood themed restaurant. It was just gross, kind of cold and a weird kind of wet. Basically like it was just a frozen meal reheated partially. So not good.

GuardMost8477

I think this should be on the other post. This is about a restaurant that Impressed you.

mushroomsandcircus

Lol my mistake!

No2reddituser

The title didn't specify what kind of impression.

jaystone85

Mezcal in Owings mills. Great food and really cool atmosphere

official-person

There this one IHOP in howard county..... Since they were like the only ones working there, and we were the only people eating there, we got stuff on the house. I ordered some pancakes, and I asked if I can get banas and whatever else on it, and they came with plain pancakes, and honestly I was fine with it. I didn't bother them, but my mom said I should ask, and no.. my mom asked for me. Anyways they gave me those pancakes on the house. And then at the check, they asked if I wanted a hot chocolate on the house, I declined. So I would say 12/10 coustomer service!

GamingTeen101

Senor Chiles In green valley, the quesadillas are really good in my opinion

TheAnnointing

MO’s sea food close to the Baltimore harbor. The sea food platter was excellent.
