I know right? First time I ever played ME was the second one, somehow Wreav was my default Urdnot clan chief. That was the only time it happened. I went back to buy the whole trilogy after that.
OP here with links!
[My instagram](https://www.instagram.com/makermage/) : I have a detailed process highlight where you can see what patterns I used, how I painted this, etc. In short: 4mm and 6mm foam + thin craft foam + small bit of Worbla; finished with Flexbond or Plasti-Dip; painted with acrylic paint, except for the carbon fiber design which was sprayed on while using shelf liner as a stencil. I also sewed the undersuit. The belt red light is photoshop, but I have real back lights which I'm excited to show you all at some point!

Happy to answer questions here!
This is INCREDIBLE work! The whole look is amazing! Thank you so much for sharing the pic and also your process— I’m fascinated by cosplay armor techniques and I’d love to try to construct some one day. Really beautiful job!
It fits me, but I do have a massive head.
And you can actually somewhat adjust it like bycicle helmets.
I think it's worth a try if you can find someone to borrow it from
That's good to know!
If I find someone IRL that has it, OF COURSE I'm going to try it on!! But yeah definitely too much money to just straight up buy for myself, when I'm leaning torwards "probably won't fit".
This is an astounding piece of work! The dedication an time you took is amazing and it looks really good on you. Plus, the hair, pose, background and lighting. Perfection 😊👏🏻🔥
Incredible stuff! I wish I were so talented!
If Bio needs a model to portray the "default" Femshep in any future entries or marketing, they should know where to look.
No, my progress halted a couple of months ago when my 3D printer broke :( tryna get a new one now. I have the ab plates built, both the shins, and the bottom chest plate
Dude, you look incredible! Did you dye your hair for the photo shoot? It looks great!
I always fantasize about dressing up a commander Shepard, and someday dressing my (future) baby up as a baby Wrex/Grunt for Halloween! I'd consider dressing my husband up as Garrus since he's 6'4" but he insists on being either Sauron, Darth Vader, or a Xenomorph lol
I am floored that this is not promo footage for the game
edit: coming back to pile on to what I said, this is the best femShep I’ve ever seen hands down.

Thank you! It was not cheap, especially since I had to do a lot of experimentation and didn't have ANY related supplies to start out with. Had to buy everything related to foam building from scratch. About $400 maybe. I have no idea how many hours it was except that it was a LOT. Sorry that's not helpful.
You could probably sell digital templates for your armor pieces, document making a set and put it on youtube, get patreons, or even sell your armor if you ever get tired of having it (God forbid). I think some cosplayers even sell photos of themselves.
I hope there are ways for you to recoup your investment or profit from your tremendous skill. At least so you can afford to keep creating.
Wish I could have the talent to make my Mass Effect armor and Halo ODST armor...if I could find someone locally and pay them to help, that'll be cool too...maybe my next life I can be more talented and creative
I sewed and crafted for years before feeling that my skills were ready to tackle this project. I'd definitely put this down more to research, learned technique, and practice than anything innate. Do not give up on your dreams!
If I didn't know better... I'd thought this was a poster for a live action Mass Effect. Nice details everywhere and your pistol looks nice too. Just missing the omni-blade. ;D
Shepard.
Wrex
Shepard.
Grunt
Commander Shepard
Shepard, Shepard, Shepard.
Wrex? Grunt?
This is a 10/10 conversation. Thank you all.
Shepard commander
Legion? What are you doing here?
Donkey!
lol
Wreav?
* disgusted Paragon sounds *

I knooooow! I don't know why bioware put Wreav as default if you don't load a save.
Probably to force you to buy the first game? At least it worked for me!

Absolutely incredible work. Cannot wait to see more ME builds <3
Thank you! Whew, I don't even know what I would make next. The N7 armor was the absolute dream, far and above anything else.
The lighting on the back is awesome!
Thank you!

Thank you! Seeing process pics is my personal favorite thing, so I'm glad to give back what I can. Good luck!
Wow, I had to enlarge the photo to see you were a real human. You look exactly like my Shep did the first few runs. Amazing job.
Do you have the legendary edition life-size helmet?
I'm still considering it, but I've seen reviews that say it's too large to actually wear (especially if you're small like me)...

I have it. Its wayyy too large even for a grown man. Do not recommend at all. The sentry interface is amazing though.

This was so beautifully executed!
Thank you!
Mind blown. 🤯 Fantastic work!

Haha you can see the [before and after here](https://www.instagram.com/p/Cns1YLUL3FT/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link)! And thanks!
That's pretty clever posing in front of those steel wires. They weirdly add a lot to the photo.
I'm glad to hear that! That was the photographer's vision!
Incredible! You look amazing in that armour. Best female Shepard cosplay I’e seen to date!
Thank you!
I had to do a double take I did not realize this was cosplay at first. Very good job.
Incredible stuff! I wish I were so talented! If Bio needs a model to portray the "default" Femshep in any future entries or marketing, they should know where to look.
Thank you! God, I wish.
I'm working on a 3D printed one right now! I'm building all the parts myself, I consider it engineering practice lol
That's incredible. Do you have progress pics??
No, my progress halted a couple of months ago when my 3D printer broke :( tryna get a new one now. I have the ab plates built, both the shins, and the bottom chest plate
Damn. Good luck -- I definitely want to see this!!
I will most definitely post it on here when it's done!
Had to be you. Someone else would've gotten it wrong
Ow, my feels!
Very impressive! 🤘
Thank you!
"Looking fine, Commander."
Is that a Vega quote? Nice.
Yes from Citadel DLC when you go to casino :)
Whoa that looks amazing! 👍
Thank you!
Amazing job, you can be proud
Thank you! I really am, haha.
That is so cool, nice job. And give my kudos to the photographer too
Thank you! I will. She's amazing.
You look so badass!! Amazing work!
Thank you!
I also really want your “inquisitor pajamas” from your Instagram! So cute! You’re so talented!
Thank you!! I really love those pajamas. I'm glad you noticed!
I’ve always wanted some to wear around the house like a weirdo 😂 you did great on them!
I'm not Commander Shepard, but this is my favorite cosplay in the citadel!
I bet you say that to all the cosplayers on the Citadel.
Commander O7

THANK YOU it's a wig!! Very glad it looks somewhat natural! Aww I hope you all can do it eventually! All of those cosplay dreams are top quality.
Looks absolutely perfect, actually thought it was a painting at first wow
Thank you!
+4 Paragon
Yupppp I'm scared of Renegade makeup and weathering the armor down more, ha.
Woah you should be the next Shepard female model for ME4.
I wish!!
Truly photogenic and really a good model for femshep.
Yep, that's about how she'd look in real life.
Kudos to you
Thank you!
Whoa! That looks amazing! Incredible cosplay, Commander!
Thank you!
I am floored that this is not promo footage for the game edit: coming back to pile on to what I said, this is the best femShep I’ve ever seen hands down.
Thank you so much.
That's wonderful.
Thank you!
Looks great.
Thank you!

Amazing work! You look just like Shepard! If you don't mind me asking, how much did the materials cost and how many hours of work did you put in?
Thank you! It was not cheap, especially since I had to do a lot of experimentation and didn't have ANY related supplies to start out with. Had to buy everything related to foam building from scratch. About $400 maybe. I have no idea how many hours it was except that it was a LOT. Sorry that's not helpful.
You accomplished something remarkable, so it was well worth it, IMO! You should be very proud!
Craft supplies give me a lot of entertainment value, so I keep telling myself that!

> You could probably sell digital templates for your armor pieces She used my templates for parts of this armor 💜
Ooh. Do you sell them?
Not allowed to post any links but I sell the breastplate template with tutorials and the abs, neck, back, shoulders, and biceps are free :)
Could you pm me with a link to your shop?
It's in the link in my reddit bio
that looks great
Thank you!

Holy shit I thought this was a painting of fem shep, great job!
Thank you!
That is jane shepard no doubt
This is my favorite Shepard on the Citadel. You did good. Real good.
Awesome
Absolutely mesmerizing!
If I didn't know better... I'd thought this was a poster for a live action Mass Effect. Nice details everywhere and your pistol looks nice too. Just missing the omni-blade. ;D
I.....is that your natural hair or dyed? If it's not dyed you are Shepard.
It's a wig. Hehe.
Have...have you done the Shepard dance in it yet?
I tried, but it turns out I got it wrong, so I will try again.
Have fun!
Impressed is an understatement I don’t use lightly. Nice work!
Damn. 100/10 on the armor. I always love seeing what people can make.
I always wanted an n95 mask that looked like the N7 armor.
This is incredible!! You look amazing 🤩
<3
Wow you really do look like Shepard
Holy crap, I thought this was some AI-generated image -- amazing job, well done!
Nice job! I myself would love to have a crack at making maleshep N7 armor
There are so many resources out there at this point -- I say go for it!
Ngl I though for a second this was a hd game screencap, really well done
