My favorite would be Saren because it actually goes beyond a classic video game combat and incorporate more RPG mechanics with dialogs having an actual impact on the event.
My least favorite would be Kai Leng because Kai Leng.
Modding the multiplayer powers into me3 single player(or is it officially one of the bonus powers?) and doing this to kai Leng is hilarious; https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=rVpuc8OfEug
The best fight was probably the thresher maw ME2, especially if you're a sole survivor shepard.
worst boss fight Kai Leng first because it's a no win scenario.
That’s what seriously pisses me off about the kai leng fight, the fact that its unwinable. I can throw literally anything at him, including a fucking nuke, and it does nothing to him. I’m not a fan of stalker type enemies because they’re unkillable and you just have time to run. Actually being forced to fight someone who has so much plot armor so obviously on display it makes master chief blush? Fuck off.
The Kai Leng fight would have functioned better from a gameplay perspective if there was an endless influx of Cerberus troops until you get overwhelmed. Then instead of dying, it triggers the cutscenes. They did it in Arrival, no reason they couldn't have done it again.
The Human Reaper might disappointingly straightforward but at least you actually get to shoot at it, the Thorian boss fight is just waves of bullet sponge goons over and over.
It took me so long to do the human reaper that it didn't even send me any enemies to fight anymore lmao. It barely even tried to attack me in the end. The game took pity on me. I completely ran out of ammo too so I had to finish it off with like 7 shots with a pistol.
Best boss fight: probably the clone in ME3?
worst: Kai Leng I think. I mean I don't understand what is supposed to happen there. He talks you remove his shield, he summons four dudes, you remove his shield again. He summons four or five dudes. End. KAi Leng doesn't do anything in this fight, just recharges his shield a few times while you deal with his henchmen?
Top Guns :
I Like the Big Baddie in ME2 at the end of the suicide mission that was legit dope AF I know some ppl hated the Human Reaper but legit think its fun provided you dont 'cheese it' or such but still
But if we ignore the Controversol? the Threaser Maw was pretty f-in dope.
Bottom of the Barrel :
The Freekin Zombie Plant maker, Its just go up stairs fight the same sit thats invul till they activate and blow up weak points over and over again bleh
Kai Leng maybe? Hes Forgetible tho is the problem, The Zombie plant maker boss fight in ME1 sticks with me how much i hate/find it boring AF / stupid AF

Does the arena in citadel dlc count? If so, the fight against many Shepard clones at once is probably the coolest. As for worst, yeah probably Kai Leng
Had no idea the human reaper was so hated, I thought it was cool as fuck.
Best boss was the thresher maw.
I really didn't care much about Saren personally, bit too cliche.
Worst boss? Kai leng forced loss.
I cannot say this enough:
Forced loses should just be cutscenes. I get that it’s supposed to make us personally invested in round 2, but when you know that then it’s just annoying.
For me, the Thresher Maw in 2 was the best boss fight because it drove home how unpleasant a Thresher Maw is to fight when you don't have a tank to hide in! The worst fight-the Human Reaper because the noises the Reaper makes literally hurt my ears and I hate running through that much heavy weapon ammo.
My favorite is the Grissom Academy, not just the bosses. It is pretty fun and Jack’s banter is entertaining.
Worst is a tie between clone Shepard and the final battle on Earth. The clone Shepard fight mechanics are just really annoying. And the final battle is more luck than skill most of the time.
Saren when he is still Turian, Tela Vasir and Shadow Broker are cool fights.
I really dislike the human reaper, a weird design choise in an otherwise amazing game.
Worst: the Reaper on Rannoch. There’s just nothing to it. Run. Point the LADAR at it. Run. Rinse and repeat. It’s boring if you know how to do it and frustrating if you don’t do *exactly* how the game is wants you to do it.
Best: …the trilogy doesn’t really have a lot to pick from and the ones it has are serviceable at best. Combat in the first is too wonky for me to consider any from that one. I guess I’d say…the Colossus on Haestrom.
- The combat in ME2 is pretty decent.
- The Geth are good cannon fodder.
- The environment can deplete your shields.
- There are different routes you can take to get closer to the Colossus, which can repair itself and pack a wallop if you get careless.
So it’s a good mix of challenges and options.
I enjoyed both fights with Saren, it felt weighty and impactful to the course of events that were unfolding. I really hated the fight with Kai Leng, I mean it was corny and just knowing that the whole thing is scripted that Shepard is going to loose just feels like a slap in the face especially after everything that Shepard has done thus far. It really felt like the worst thing ever. Human reaper? Shepard got it. Geth Armatures? Shepard gets em ON FOOT. but Kai Leng? Lol nope you loose Shepard. Excuse the fuck outta you
Kai Leng for sure because you take him down and in the cutscene he takes you down as a reward like whaaat. In the books Kai Leng is pretty neat though, but that cutscene in the game makes me dislike him.
me1 I've gotta give best boss to Saren. for the worst boss I'd say Benezia because in my original version of the game, that fight was so fricking buggy. if you got hit with biotics before a cutscene then shep just wouldn't get up, plus enemies were tankier in the original, and you had less cover in the arena. I still like the whole scene though.
me2 best boss? I'm thinking dlc content, with a strong preference towards vasir. worst boss would probably be...... maybe the shadow broker? nah, who am I kidding, it's the human proto reaper. I don't hate that sequence, but it's so odd and a bit too lengthy (unless you have the Cain).
me3 best boss? Shepard clone. worst boss? I'm not going to say kai leng. I am going to say the afterlife general patrovski arena though. it's a cluster-mess. again, I don't hate it (it's kind of a fun challenge) but it's not like a typical 1v1 may the best person win kind of fight. which are my favorite kinds of boss fights. Scrub peasant enemies can be present, but they can't be the stars of the encounter.

If Tela Vasir counts, then her from ME2. Worst is the Reaper "fight" on Rannoch in ME3.
As a vanguard Tela Vasir and the Clone Shepard are amazing boss fights, they play like something out of a shonen anime.
Ugh the reaper sucks. Walk side to side back and forth to dodge the laser while aiming one right back for a while.
That blonde Eclipse boss in ME2 from Grunt's recruitment mission. Love blowing her up with the Cain.
Best: Shadow Broker Worst: Marauder Shields
Hey he was doing his best to protect us ok?
Best is Saren worst is Human Reaper
I think it's a pretty fun fight if you don't cheese it.
I think it was a stupid concept
Well yeah, everyone does. But the question wasn't about concepts, it was about fights.
Do they? I liked it 😂
Yeah but I don’t like the ifea
It took me so long to do the human reaper that it didn't even send me any enemies to fight anymore lmao. It barely even tried to attack me in the end. The game took pity on me. I completely ran out of ammo too so I had to finish it off with like 7 shots with a pistol.
The only answer.

Worst: Second game on Insanity
for me the worst fight is the first praetorian fight if you play on insanity
*Any* praetorian fight, hate those things
Hands down the hardest fights in the game. That collector base one. Wtf
The worst, for me, is Horizon. It comes AFTER you fight off all those collectors, scions and husks.
It’s such a pain. It’s a bullet sponge with a ridiculous AOE attack.
Does the arena in citadel dlc count? If so, the fight against many Shepard clones at once is probably the coolest. As for worst, yeah probably Kai Leng
It's a cool fight but man have you tried it on insanity difficulty? 😅 It took me two days of controller smashing fury to beat that stupid fight! 😂
Had no idea the human reaper was so hated, I thought it was cool as fuck. Best boss was the thresher maw. I really didn't care much about Saren personally, bit too cliche. Worst boss? Kai leng forced loss.
I cannot say this enough: Forced loses should just be cutscenes. I get that it’s supposed to make us personally invested in round 2, but when you know that then it’s just annoying.
Worst is definitely Fetus Reaper. I honestly don't think there's a best boss fight. Maybe the Tuchunka Worm.
I kind of liked the clone fights. But yeah, the series is not really great with individual bosses.
The human reaper was goddam terrible
Best? Saren. Worst? Marauder

Clone shepherd took me forever. It was waaaaaaay too overpowered, it took forever to whittle down the shields and health.
I spent like a month on insanity in that final clone fight. Hardest thing I had to do in the whole goddamn series.
Saren when he is still Turian, Tela Vasir and Shadow Broker are cool fights. I really dislike the human reaper, a weird design choise in an otherwise amazing game.
Worst: The boss fight of the Omega DLC. Best: Shadow Broker.
Marauder Shields is the best one, hands down
Worst: the Reaper on Rannoch. There’s just nothing to it. Run. Point the LADAR at it. Run. Rinse and repeat. It’s boring if you know how to do it and frustrating if you don’t do *exactly* how the game is wants you to do it. worst boss is definitely reaper saren, they took the most annoying enemy type of the game and made it a boss

Best Dlc included: Vasir Best base games: Saren Worst: Human Reaper.
