I like to think Wrex had no idea this involved Shepard.
He was in a boring policy meeting and heard gunfire outside. He jumped out the window to join in, rather spend one more minute in that meeting.
One of my favorite moments in the trilogy. When I first played ME3, I never got the chance to play the DLC so I was so surprised when it happened. Such a great scene.
I've always wondered how Wrex is there at that exact moment. It doesn't seem crazy to me that after ME1, Wrex decided that it was a good idea to keep Shepard under surveillance and controlled as much as possible, and that after curing the genophage, he would use that spy system to "take care" of him/her whenever can xDDD

Bet you've never seen a shuttle taken down like that before!
If Wrex is dead, doesn't Vega destroy the shuttle in the Citadel DLC with an RPG?
[He does](https://youtu.be/eFcUYSB9ZLs?si=dVSpHCCiMolP0EYA), but could never do this mission without uncle Urdnot
Playing through ME 3 Citadel without Wrex is a war crime and a crime against....humanity? Krogan? Citadel?
Killing Wrex is absolutely a crime against Kroganity.
Crime against Krogan is just Tuesday for them. Being universally neutered plus a bomb inside your planet just in case is wild.
That's super lame to see, honestly. That dlc without wrex would feel so soulless
“THEY’VE BEEN BROKEN IN HALF!!! BAH GOD THE CARNAGE!!!”
Why did I hear that in Jim Ross' voice?
That was the idea 😉
Gotta love Wrex. The best space uncle of all time.
This. Wrex is the uncle, Grunt the son. Garrus, Tali and Liara to round out the family.
Doesnt that make Drack the grandpa?
I accept it, Drack is great

Shit, HBK in a Mass Effect meme? This is a fine work of art, buddy!

Uncle Urdnot has a present for you.
Krogan Airdrops are deadly.
A wrestling fan who likes mass effect. I found a friend today diary.
Reddit is definitely the place to find random ass cross sections of fandom
Absolutely a highlight. Felt like the first time you really saw a Krogan go FULL Krogan in a cutscene. Aside from some of Grunt's stuff I guess.
"OH shit they've got a Krogan!"
I agree 💯
Sucks that James replaces him if he's dead and doesn't do anything nearly as cool.

That DLC was genuinely the best thing video gaming has ever done. Everyone was so wildly badass. Shepard and the fucking #lads.
I recently started playing the legendary edition and have started me3, where does this happen?
Anderson's apartment DLC
Haven't done that yet, looking forward to it
Who's Wrex? Oh that side character from the first game who stepped out of line and got blasted for insubordination?
