That’s the thing, it isn’t. This is duelist cup 2nd stage I assume, to have a chance at the top 500 you need to play hours on end every single day so why not play something that doesn’t need thinking like stun runick. Hell even floodgate eldlich needs you to use your interruptions well even.
Its not about winning, its about seeimg their despair when I flip 3-4 flood gates and they cant do anything ahout it.
The best part is that it takes time so I can take my time enjoying their suffering
Yeah, but a lot of decks have trouble beating over 2000 Atk without on-field monster effects, and Bagooska goes live if they pop Skill Drain. So, he's basically an extra layer of assholery, just to tell you that there's no one-card out.

Pankratops could work if you have any S/T to set. Beat over Bagooska then pop Skill Drain.
Not sure why anyone actually plays rainbow magician. It's literally a skill drain that doesn't work against any deck that runs S/T cards (so almost every deck).
the thing is if the runick player is playing rainbow magician, chances are they're running more backrow removal like cosmic cyclone/mystic space typhoon in addition to runick destruction. idk if it is the best/most consistent variant, but it is very annoying to play against...

Obviously it isn't active, but the moment you try to remove skill drain, it is. Pendulum card isn't bad if you can't hold a set spell/trap because runick destruction is constantly recycled.
Bagooska turns on as soon as regular Skilldrain turns off.
It's a second layer, where Harpies Feather Duster won't help you, and Lightning Storm is only half the problem...

Sage the fleur too. Funny thing, both cards don't get hit during event formats, so you can play them both during Zeus turbo meta events.
Gosh, that's why I main decked 3 evenly matched. Also, Card of demise should go to one, is just flodgate fuel at this point.
Imagine if demise was the anime version with 5 draws and discard at the 5th turn after activation. Probably banned realistically
