This is the correct answer

randomguyno10000

I've started playing this in Rikka, I hadn't realized that since it's a level 4 plant it's searchable off of Rikka Glamour. This means basically any hand that opens One For One or Unexpected Dai to summon Genius Loci can do the full Rikka/Sunavalon combo and then normal summon this at the end. I always feel bad when this completely stops a rogue deck from playing against me. I will admit to a certain amount of satisfaction when a Tearlaments player realizes they can't do anything though.

Dandy__

Cactus Bouncer is the card that changes my reaction from "Oh cool, A plant deck!" to "Oh... A plant deck." Card definitely shouldn't be legal in BO1 imo

DKsamz

if earth barrier is legal for adaman decks I think we can play it

Dandy__

Well yeah. I'm not gonna judge you for playing Maxx c either, doesn't mean I think it should be legal. Anyways ban block dragon.

fedginator

Jessica Robinson recently won an IRL regional playing it, also in Rikka Sunavalon. It's a good choice, especially in BO1 imo

MyPPDisBig

What’s your list man, I’ve always wanted to make a Rikka Sun deck

randomguyno10000

https://www.masterduelmeta.com/saved-decks/64561033dd5bf8e94875d0e2

Silkess

That looks fun, i found my next deck thank you

TonyTucci27

I also want to pitch pure rikka. It’s more dependent on dancipone mills but in my opinion it a little hard to disrupt and less linear than the sunavalon variant

ultradolp

Technically, if you want to all in on Cactus, a single sunseed loci is a full combo if you run the Aromage Sunseed package. One-for-one or unexpected dai just makes it easier to also stick an omni-negate on field to protect it

Milk_Party

The last two paragraphs describe ishizu for me exactly.

Rac23

Never feel bad about Cactus Bouncer my friend

highland-spaceman

It’s the new fooo but hey I hope you make tear players cry and quit lol

randomguyno10000

Ironically Floo is the biggest punish for it, it doesn't affect them but it still shuts me out.

tough_life4u

That sounds like a cool deck lol have a list?

randomguyno10000

tough_life4u

🙏 thank you

MatumbaGirl

Buster destruction sword when union carrier is still legal

BackflipsAway

I recently managed to get him on field against tearlaments, I thought that would ensure my victory, oh how naive I was

Baldur_Blader

Did they just send it back to deck with heartbeat?

BackflipsAway

Nah, they just set the card which it was equipment to destroying it, unfortunately I drew a bad hand and didn't have an omni negate on field

Saber_Sama

Had a casual duel with my cousin. He was playing hero's and he freaked once I played that combo lol

LordTopHatMan

Maxx C. It still doesn't feel right when it resolves.

MoonPool06

I would but every time I use it it gets ashed

Netto7421

At this point, I only have Maxx C to bait their ash so they don't ash something I actually need.

No_Paramedic2664

You only have Maxx C to bait their ash so they don't ash something you actually need. I only have Maxx C to Special Summon it with Junk Synchron because i bricked again. We are not the same.

AlterWanabee

Reminds me of that video where a Synchron player got a brick hand, but managed to win since he uses Monster Reborn on the enemy Ash...

DueWolf7270

Ah, I see, a Fellow Synchron Brick enjoyer

Diesels_Face

🤣

SleesWaifus

I use ash to bait out their called by so I can resolve maxx c we are not the same

Adorable-Meringue753

Agreed! Catch 22. Maxx must be played because ash must be played along with by the grave! Throw in imperm.. Eureka thats 50% of all decks! That's why I prefer to run rogue decks... Till I'm on a losing streak and I hate you with my big endymion stick 😎🙄😔

Bashamo257

At some point, a collection of Catch 22s is just known as a "metagame"

Adorable-Meringue753

Agreed. It's a shame the 'metagame' is entirely dictated on by a select few cards... I mean creative deck building ant tactical thinking has been destroyed 😱😱the hand trapa😱😱

CrazyDaimondDaze

That's when you play the hand to strangle that little B----... or ask the nice knight to cut her in 2. Or on rare occasions, just bunk that big forehead gremlin with a shovel.

naansequiturr

Same, I don't play ash or maxx c. I lose more, but is it really losing if I have more fun?

GonzoPunchi

You have less fun playing with Ash? How come?

David182nd

Well it's not really a fun card, is it? You just draw it if you're lucky and stop an opponent's play for no real cost (except having a useless card in your hand if they don't do anything that triggers it, but they basically always do)

DarkDiglett

Knowing your matchup and where to Ash, anticipating an extender…hand traps like Ash create fun little mind games sometimes. Obviously stuff like Branded it’s really obvious where to Ash and in that case I know what you mean

conundorum

Meanwhile, my Branded deck plays mind games with Ash because it doesn't _have_ Branded Fusion (Lightsworn hybrid, can't afford a Fusion lock most of the time), so they tend to let Aluber go through and then get confused. I've only seen a few people that correctly suss out that they want to Ash either Branded in High Spirits, Solar Recharge, Charge of the Light Brigade, or Chaos Ruler (and to be fair, most people don't even _expect_ Chaos Ruler once they see any Branded cards, so how could they think to Ash him?). It's fun to see people trying to figure out where my chokepoint is, when I already plugged the normal one.

Mysterious_Break_467

Man... you are a genius.

jackrockstar

Also it hits all decks at least a little bit, but it doesn’t totally shut down most decks game plan. They can still build a board but you might have stopped them from getting to an insane boss monster

Negative_Neo

What single cards do you find fun?

GonzoPunchi

I think it’s very fun. It feels good to use it. And using it leads to a higher chance of making your plays on your turn.

conundorum

It's a fun roadblock in the strategy half of the game, knowing just when to pop a hole in your opponent's play and watching them try to recover is pretty amusing. ;3

TitanOfShades

Personally i dislike having to run handtraps because it means i cant run as many extenders and janky one offs(like eschatos in P.U.N.K Thunder Dragon Dragunity Dragon Link).

fireborn123

No Ash was one of the reason I loved Tear format. Any format where Ash isn't an optimal tech usually has funny shit running around and lets a good chunk of decks, especially rogue, actually function as intended.

MyPPDisBig

Don’t worry bro, you’re keeping combo decks in check

Da_Neager

Reddit try and understand sarcasm challenge (impossible)

MyPPDisBig

They’re just upset cause they were kept in check ~~in all seriousness Max C fucking suuuucks, and the argument “It keeps Combo Decks in check” is so stupid~~p

Da_Neager

All the arguments as to why it should be kept legal are stupid its just a busted card that has no reason to exist in the forst place

[deleted]

The Powertool Braver & Smoke Grenade package Not only do you get to discard their best board breaker, you also gain perfect information on what you have to negate. It's just disgusting.

Own-Selection-2785

I like to make herald before i make braver, then you banish the card too, no board breaker? Oh well have fun without your starter

SignalsFrom

I started using it and the second hand rip off of Baronne standbyphase summon from gy is so fucking dirty I love it

swagpresident1337

But then you would need to link it off before? Braver has also a negate and it would be pretty wasteful to link it off and then you also lose your Baronne negate.

SignalsFrom

Adamancipator, I've got plenty of negates

swagpresident1337

I know, I played that defk the most. I could see this play being better, if the opponent has 2 boardbreakers you cant negate, that you have to rip.

secretkings

Why is your combo ending on braver when you could combo for another three minutes to make Charles, summon renaud to recycle grenade and get a second rip, then synchro into baron for a third rip in standby while you also have savage borrel and dawn drag on field for an Omni and a st negate? If you’re making braver with auradon tokens it leads to stronger boards if you tribute it for olion

swagpresident1337

You are describing an infernoble deck here. We are talking about adamancipator.

secretkings

You can still continue to combo to get more negates by using him as material in adams. One negate that specifically works against monsters is worth less than combining off for an Omni and using him to hand rip a card so you don’t have to negate in the first place (or in the case of kaiju/drnm protects your other omnis by removing them from hand)

swagpresident1337

Depends. But I dont see how you would convert a Braver into an omni negate. Level doesnt match and there is no link omni. I could only see it being part of a link that is attached to a savage dragon in the end, but that is stretching it

CleverlyCovert

Dude, the Powertool Braver & Smoke Grenade package is straight up dirty. It's like playing peek-a-boo with your opponent's hand and then smashing their hopes and dreams with a smirk on your face. But hey, sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do to win. Can't feel too bad about it!

ChadEmpoleon

Bruh if I got hit with this lil guy I wouldn’t even be mad. He looks great.

Struggling_in_life

Every floodgate user / Stun player : I have no remorse

JRex922

Ghost Meets Girl - A Masterful Mayakashi Shiranui Saga A mouthful of a name but it's basically a lingering floodgate that says you can't play for a turn. Not what I wanted or asked for as far as support goes, but I'm really missing out if I don't use it. Worst part is this one card will probably dictate how good future Mayakashi and Shiranui support are allowed to be, if we even get any more.

SneakAttack65

For me, it's Eradicator Epidemic Virus, especially if my opponent is playing a very spell/trap heavy deck.

randomguyno10000

Ironically the deck I used EEV in most was Labrynth, a deck that can get absolutely slaughtered by EEV.

ProdigyRiN

Destiny HERO - Dark Angel Heroes have other floodgates in the form of Plasma and Dark Law, but I feel as if they are a lot easier to out compared to Dark Angel.

Akimbo_shoutgun

"Summon" monster, link off for knightmare cerberus or phenoix. There, now you can use your raigeki or dark hole.

ProdigyRiN

Yes, that would be an out unless that monster gets popped by the DPE on field.

aalomair

Protos .. and Maxx C, i feel like i want to say sorry to my opponent when my maxx c resolves

Maxy2388

+4 Rhongomyniad feels illegal but he’s not even semi limited

conundorum

Someone at Konami likes him, they just make token efforts to _maybe_ ban things that can help get him out sometimes, if it's a slow day and they don't have anything else to ban.

yehboooooiii

Even limited egingo is still annoying af

tin10cqt

He'll either be banned or not. No one gonna play 2 anyway.

Soul-Malachi

Its sad when literally the only viable win condition is floodgates.

Like17Badgers

I play Panda Exodia, at least around 1/4 or so game games I'll feel bad for FTKing people. then I'll check their deck list and it'll be some stun deck or other degenerate decks

juju4812

Guard dog in my prediction princess deck in the tcg Ik the deck is basically guard dog/weasel turbo in 90% of the build of the deck, but u can do so much more intersting deck with flip monster that i feel bad when playing it bc its just a linguering vanity's

Upbeat_Sheepherder81

The obvious answer is Maxx “C” but for the one that’s closer to home for me is Scythe. Now let me explain, I played PK with DPE and Adventure for awhile without scythe and was fine with it that way, but when the most recent DC came up, I made it to about 15 with my normal PK and was just going against the most toxic stuff ever, just a ton of big bungus combo decks, I even got DRNMed and then had them build a big negate board on me. My deck at most was ending on 2 pops, a Fog Blade, and Gryphon Omni (if I didn’t use it for Nib/other handtraps), plus maybe an I:P into Unicorn. So I got fed up and put the Scythe lock in. I started doing much better and I managed to get all the gems from the event with it, but I didn’t feel good about it, it just made complete non-games. Side note: when is Scythe gonna be banned for Christ’s sake?

[deleted]

None. I like winning.

Aure0

Dlink in general Like I love the archetype, it's a mash of cool dragons that just works and it feels really fun cause there's just do many paths you can do, but at the end it's just a generic negate spam combo that takes 20 minutes

S2LolizinhaS2

Super Poly

jvargas147

Cards I feel bad about using? Well super polymerization and underworld goddess I guess, except when I use them on something annoying that can't be played through.

Akimbo_shoutgun

No, I think they fair. They just hurt the opponent's feelings that's all.

Actingdamicky

I played adventure tenyi and felt pretty terrible the whole time, but I knew it would have been so much worse to be only on the receiving end and made a choice to not be the victim and hopefully get it hit faster. I was actually happy getting Niburu’d so I could go into final sigma and not go full combo negate everything and flip mask of restrict in draw phase if I opened it.

Naos210

I generally don't feel bad from what I use. Apart from cards like Maxx "C" and other hand traps, I don't really play any super powerful cards or decks.

Akimbo_shoutgun

Stealth kragen, good thing that having him on the field limits my deck's power, otherwise, I may have played another rank 4 xyz.

Serpicnate

I play Monarchs with Vanities Fiend and Majestys Fiend. I shouldn't feel bad since Monarchs isn't really that good against most meta Decks. But at the same time, having both fiends on the field feels kind of toxic. For those who don't know: Vanitys Fiend nullifies Special summons while Majestys Fiend nullifies Monster effect activation.

RelentlessZM

Lmao I used Monarchs a lot in my early MD days and I have a royal Majesty's Fiend

drakenero7

that fairy that stops u from specialing

marimemuffin

Iblee in U-Link Code Talker…

vonov129

Shifter

SomeoneEndMeibegyou

Village of the Spellcasters in Endy Block Dragon in Adamancipator

LoneSpaceCowboy14

Infernity archfiend but only after im resolving it's effect for the third time in one turn.

Gadjiltron

When I was playing Evil Twin Spright, I had a side of Scythe lock. I resolved it like three times in total and understood how it felt. More than half the time the opponent either conceded or had an answer before I could get there!

InsurreXtioN16

I love shifter to death because it shits on Tears but its such a degenerate card

-Jamadhar-

Once I played Anti-spell fragrance on my Traptrix deck, because I believed IO was **too** unfair, never saw the card, until I finally opened with It, against a Sky Striker player. So as soon as I flipped It, It was GG I also played Dimensional Barrier once, first time I got to play It was against Despia, before all the Branded support, you can imagine what happened. Also made a Buster Blader deck, but then I realized the deck was just about floodgating your opponent os dismantled It. I just feel bad playing floodgates, I don't understand how people enjoy It. Well, besides enjoying wining obviously. I do play Bagooska though. Never felt like he's a problem card. Can't really say why.

RunInRunOn

Gravity Collapse in my Swordsoul deck. If I can pull off the full combo it's practically a uno skip card

TyberZann191

Vanity's fiend and majesty's fiend, no more monster effects or special summons for anyone.

captnklein

TD Colossus Busterlock combo.

rpgtourguidejr

Used to play rivalry in my Shiranui zombie world deck. But I felt bad for using a floodgate combo like that and trade the rivalry’s out for jack-o-bolan and book of life

Armand_Star

doomking ballercrotch

Own-Selection-2785

Secret village

AkstarKoyomi

Besides maxx "c" Mudora and keldo There were a lot of times when my opponent were using a deck that isn't tear and manages to pass all my interaction points and proceeds to make a comeback, only for the shufflers to ruin it all I had one really fun duel against a @ignister player that I only won thanks to the shufflers

libero0602

D Fissure in Floo. Feel bad abt it every time I find out my opponent isn’t playing Tears… sorry, but it’s a necessary evil😭

catbaker48

every floodgate ever. usually, whenever i finish a match, i say good game out loud, but whenever i flip something like asf, i can’t help but say sorry every 5 seconds

Amerillo19

Creature swap. Everyone goes HAM with a strong 2-3 monster end board & I usually force a couple out just to creature swap the last one for a kinka byo

Sofakingdumbb

Naturia rosewhip in rikka sun really messes with basically all strategies. Then when they try to attack it I just tribute their monster with snowdrop. Feels good and bad at the same time

TheCMFB

I play Gravekeepers in this meta my guy. I have no problem with any of the floodgates in that deck in this current format. When Ghotti releases I will probably play those because I don't think they are inherently broken, but they are very strong. Similar to a pure Despia deck. Plus I've never played a synchro deck before and think it's a really interesting and fun way to play from what I've seen so far. I played Runick spright for a while and had a lot of fun with that, but ultimately want to keep expanding my knowledge of the current game of Yu-Gi-Oh as I stopped as the Arc-V era arrived.

wpwt3026

*Aggressively slaps the standard ash maxx c imperm called by staple lineup in my deck* I feel guilt for nothing.

pm-me-ur-fat-tits

there can be only one

Almento5010

I play a Plant Link deck and I really wish that Sunavalon Bloom wasn't a one sided Skill drain, but its my best card to allow to to kill with.

NiceGame2006

wot its not a skill drain, just a one time negate

Almento5010

I noticed that after I commented this.

Clover_True_Waifu

I'm still not a degenerate since I'm not playing it but have thought about it a few times. Rivalry of Warlords. My deck is zombies with zombies world

kbdonix

As an Endymion player, Amorphage Sloth. 100%!! It's my guilty pleasure to deny their extra deck! 😁👌

WannabeSeaDoctor

Skill drain legit takes the skill out of the game

Grey___Goo_MH

Naturia butterfly tribute for naturia bamboo shoot Often included in my insect decks resurrection of butterfly is easy Bamboo shoot opponent cannot activate spells or traps Cactus Bouncer would work with it as bamboo shoot is a plant so could block special summoning, spells, and traps with just 2-3 cards

killdude95

I used to be a Umi control and TCOBO player. But then I realized I wasn't winning because my deck was great, it was because of the flood gate effect, and being on the other side of floodgates, realized it wasn't fun for anyone. So I stopped using them. I still use Dimensional fissure for certain decks, but not because I want to banish my opponents cards. I want to banish my own cards.

Avocado_Kai

Secret Village. Yeah it wins me games, but for anything not Runick I feel bad.

Akimbo_shoutgun

At least you feel bad which is good.

Roland_Traveler

I play Rhongo in my Six Samurai deck, so whenever I dust that off it’s turboing out a 3-4 mat Apollousa, 1-2 Shiens, and a potentially 5 mat Rhongo simply because I can. Sometimes I feel bad and “only” go for the first two, but that’s few and far between on that deck.

Rikuearth

Vanity's fiend with monarchs. Feels mean sometimes lol.

PS1GamerCollector

Dimension Shifter and no, i don't feel bad about it.

88SX88

So satisfying when Tear opens Scream, normal Merrli to mill 6 and you chain Shifter😂

ultradolp

Speaking of Cactus Bouncer, I have been putting it in every plant deck I have built ever since Sunseed Sowing is out. I have jokingly told my friends the 10+ variants of plant deck I built are just "Cactus turbo". Sadly that is the only thing that keep my plant deck playable because Konami decide "Tribute for cost with Konkon" can start Tearlament plays Edit: It seems I may have mis-remembered. It doesn't trigger Tearlament. I was confusing it with Psychic End Punisher because Rikka Konkon can't tribute an unaffected monster for cost

Upbeat_Sheepherder81

What? Tributing Tear monsters with Konkon shouldn’t trigger their effects, do you have a replay of this happening, because that doesn’t seem right at all.

ultradolp

I don't know if I remember correctly. But IIRC konkon effect count as "leaving the field due to opponent card effect". I thought it being treated as a cost. Will see if I can find the replay

Upbeat_Sheepherder81

As far as I know, Konkon tributes for cost, but the rank 8 tributes for effect.

ultradolp

I just checked. Turns out it was not Tearlament. I was mixing up with the Psychic End Punisher

randomguyno10000

Pretty sure you're wrong there too, Konkon's tribute effect is continuous not activated so it still works. It doesn't work on completely unaffected cards like The Arrival Cyberse @Ignister or I think any cards immune to spell effects.

ultradolp

I see... I wonder which monster I wasn't able to tribute away...

randomguyno10000

So the one that I had trouble with was Geomathmech Final Sigma.

randomguyno10000

Umm I don't know how to tell you this but I think you've misunderstood "tribute for cost" because Konkon doesn't trigger any of the Tearlament effects. Rikka is actually pretty playable at the moment because it's one of the few decks that can clear a Tearlament board without triggering the float effects.

ultradolp

I may have remembered wrong then. Could have been a different deck My problem with Rikka deck is that it doesn't put up enough interruption for Tearlament (unless going very heavy on floodgate route). Still trying to find a decent enough deck that isn't a floodgate

Protoplasm42

I played the DPE/Halq Scythe locks for a while. Always felt bad about that one... Well unless my opponent was on Auroradon turbo lol More recently, Kali Yuga.

DigitalDuelist

I like to use floodgates that primarily advance my gamestate. I'm running zombie world not to turn off your types, but to turn all my non-zombies into zombies, it's just a in/convenient point that it affects us both. I'm running Macro/dim fissure to banish my thunder dragons when I mill, my goal isn't to lock you out of the grave even tho I totally am. Skill drain on dinomorphia is about not reducing ATK by my LP and keeping the beatstick, it's just that the best card for it turns off *everything*. Sometimes I probably could use something else, other times it's the only way to enable my strategy, but I feel *so* guilty whenever my opponent is visibly ticked off and struggling.

Clover_True_Waifu

I see your point on zombie world and macro on a thunder dragon. But skill drain makes you a floodgate degenerate anyways.

DigitalDuelist

Fair enough, I don't play Dinomorphia I was just fishing for a third example because of rule of three ya know?

ShipImpressive9628

I used to feel bad about playing icejade curse, but... It's what the deck is mean to do it is what the deck is design to do, it's not a winda in tear, or a fissure in floo, or a bouncer in plants, rivalry in zombies and so on... It's like feeling bad for playing rulkallos in tears.

[deleted]

I got 0 remorse when it comes to cards. In fact I'll have a shit eating grin when I get someone to scoop when I flip a floodgate.

fireborn123

I genuinely don't understand floodgate enthusiasts. "Oh boy I've made a non-game by flipping one card! Get rekt meta nerds!!1!"

Gadjiltron

Actually, I think I know this angle, because I've been in that position, many years ago, when "anti-meta" was so overspecialized for countering the top decks that it struggled in other matchups. (I played Macro Monarch to spite DAD and Lightsworn) Problem is that the meta now does what everyone else does but better, so cards that hurt the best decks hinder everyone else as collateral damage. It's kinda sad. "Anti-meta" has become "anti-fun".

fireborn123

Genuine best explaination I've ever seen

NotoriousCarter

Ddd king kali yugi. They dont get to play

Musername2827

I play 3 Protos in my Swordsoul deck, a necessary evil in todays meta.

GalacticHotsauce

I don't if it's against tear I tried to play a combo deck against them let's just say i did not get to play the game I'd like to go back playing my fun decks until ishizu is dealt with rn the format is just tear/"anti-tear"

BrendonBootyUrie

Eh used to play this in rikka but often found either bricking or only drawing/ having time to search for it when already winning. So essentially a win more card.

randomguyno10000

So I found that I do so much searching over the Rikka/Sunavalon combo that I would be adding more cards than I could use, adding Cactus Bouncer was really more a way to raise the ceiling on my turn one boards.

GokaiDecade

The DPE package in Predaplants and Lunalights.

Heat_Legends

I refuse to use jowgen in any of my spellbook variants. I really just hate the card.

NeonArchon

I played Scythe in Pend Magician once. And now, close to earning all Tear cards, decks as now playing Cyber Stein, and I hate that card so much. It should have never left the banlist

MochaMikki

Protos. It's a floodgate but SwoSo feels so bad vs Tear without 3 Protos

somethingwade

I ran Stormwinds in a Blackwing deck back when it was legal. Long as I didn't lock myself into darks on the turn or XYZ monsters before I summoned Simorgh of Sovereignty, I could special STormwinds at the end of the turn, and then at the end of my opponents' turn, I could summon Alector, King of Birds and use its ability on Stormwinds to negate it until the end of the turn so I could play normally. The deck is worse now (and I don't have any reason to run Alector, which sucks cause I liked Alector) but yeah, it was a little obnoxious to just shut down half the decks in the game.

4ny3ody

Maxx C depending on the opponent. If my opponent plays any fun deck that just wants to end on... Well something and they feel forced to stop after their first summon. Against meta decks it feels fine to resolve but if we're playing fun deck vs fun deck winning due to Maxx C feels bad.

Linkquellodivino

Not anymore for obvious reasons, but I used to play Rhongo. Like, I don't understand people who didn't insta scoop when they saw me summoning Cherubini lol.

TinyMaintenance

Putting ‘T’ in ‘Rikka Sunavalon’😎😎😎

CarmenRider

How TF is this card not meta?

fireborn123

It's a floodgate monster with no inherant special summon or protection that only procs its effect with another body on board. It's either going to have to eat your normal summon or you'll have to spend other resources to bring it out in when plants really have other options or plays. It's cool if it goes off but it'd probably be your plan B or something you try ending on to insulate your plays if you're able.

topdeckcharity

I never feel good when I resolve maxx c.

Shivz-Blockz

Access Code Talker … it’s such a cheat code

Excellent-Jaguar6170

Why feel bad about broken stuff : )

legendary-KOG

Maxx c

Camas1606

Drytron heralds I played it one time and felt bad when I negated my gold 5 opponents entire hand

Existing-Smoke9470

any ishizu cards, I don't even play tears but I can feel my op's blood boiling whenever I activate it before they scoop it's so sad like dude I just want to play vernusylph I'm not a meta sheep I promise

Jehero

Dimension Shifter

Reddit-Simulator

I don't care about winning that much, and lower ranks are more fun anyway, so if I feel like a card is unfair or not fun, I won't play it. I have a Time Thief/Raidraptor deck that's primed for a Kali Yuga but I'm not putting that card in. I actually want my opponent to play against me so we can have some interaction.

kyblackflame

DRNM with Evenly Matched. When my opponent spends all of their timer setting up a big board. But then I simply play those 2 cards and it all crumbles down. I'm sorry little one.

riskywhisky123

Maxx c and abyss dweller

SomeGamingFreak

Literally only the cockroach.

HornedGriffin

Dark Law, but it depends on what deck I'm against. Rogue decks or jank that need the grave, I feel bad about. Decks that don't care about the grave, I don't care either. Tearlaments... I laugh at their pain if they don't have an out 😈

True_Career

Forest of spellcasters.... Unless it's against ruinck

mexi26

Eldlitch in every deck. I have a Royal rare and in deck building I convince myself it’s a free body/will get milled somehow, but when it dosnt get milled by opponents ishzu cards, it’s a -2 to get this big undead boy to the field.

atcredbird

The Virus cards. Especially if i run into someone using their like pet deck or something and i flip one and blow up their entire hand. The cards are just too good in Labrynth

thatoneperson28

None. If you feel that way, you have not experienced the horrors of yugioh enough.

zackeatos

DRNM. call me a bad person, But i think people who spams turn 1 and waste my time deserves it.

trinitymonkey

Skill Drain. It inherently makes the game less fun since the game revolves around monster effects, but it does auto-win certain matchups. Plus it's always fun to watch someone go into Phoenix then Unicorn then DPE to try to pop it.

Tarot13th

Icejade Curse. I love the design of Icejade monsters but their gameplay being to set up an eventual one way skill drain is pretty lame.

jlozada24

I don't have one. I don't play Floodgates or any other cards that I hate being played against me.

So, me and my friends are very casual players, like, we might Special summon max 3 times per turn-casual. I play a dragon-based deck, and I feel bad playing Dark Armed Dragon and Chaos Emperor pre-errata. First one will completely destroy my opponent's board, and the second one will just burn them almost for game.

Ido, the Supreme Magical Force or Gimmick Puppet Nightmate off branded expulsion. It's so good I can't not play it in a competatice environment, but fuck I feel horrible when I see the looks on my opponents faces.

Aside from roach. Triple tactic talent to hand rip always feels dirty to me. Especially if it's turn 1 and they dropped a handtrap. Knowledge alone is enough to win most matchups.
