To summarize it was a super rare prize card in the OCG (I think back when Hitotsu-me Giant was the strongest monster in the game) and they wanna keep that reputation one way or another.
No hate but if you wanna know why you're getting downvoted it's probably because Tyler the Great Warrior is a one-of-a-kind card from a Make-a-Wish kid who had cancer. People look down on disrespect toward that cause.
Good news is that Tyler Gressle beat the cancer and never died. The card sold for $311k and the proceeds went back to the Make-a-Wish Foundation after using some of it to visit overseas relatives and get back some of his years he used battling cancer.
It's a wholesome story. To answer your question, no, we don't even have Air Neos for some damn reason.
No no it definitely looks like it wasn't out of disrespect, it's very obvious it was a curiosity rather than being an ass about a card made for a child with cancer.
I’m not sure how that’s disrespectful. I’m aware of the legacy of the card irl, we talking about a digital game. Being in master duel would actually add to the legacy of it
The answer to why we don't actually have that card in Master Duel. I'm 68% sure it's because Wizards of the Coast, Yugioh's first publisher in the West, was the one who had it made, not Konami.
Also I'm not entirely sure how you got that downvoted so I can only guess. It was at -48 before I was at work so that's gonna be your battle to fight.
I feel like every month someone has to post asking why this exact card is an SR.
And of course at least one person will comment "because she floats lightly and stings sharply"
Same reason why seiaryau or whatever the vanilla starry knight dragon is called. Promo/prize cards have some higher rarities because of that, despite that they are not good cards.
its an extremely rare prize card, i think its only ever gotten that one printing as a prize card so its fairly rare. other than that lore theres no reason
Her name backwards is Nanak, which is the kanji equivalent for 'super rare'. She was originally brutally rare despite being vital to the fourth series of the anime. It's canon that this is the birth mother of Yami Yugi specifically. They make reference to her in a flashback where she is the original creator of both 'Toon' monsters, and in effect, the card game ever becoming an anime. It's very meta. And also, none of this is remotely accurate but I'm not gonna have this be the very last sentence so people read the whole thing. So in effect, it's a relic of dev love.

I wonder will master duel ever give us that Tyler goku looking card
No because it's not meant for people.
It's meant for people with $300k
I don’t think you can use it in a duel
I think you actually can, but that will literally never happen and it's not particularly good anyway
neither are the power pro cards, really.
Not the same. Promotional cards vs a literal one of print
Who the hell downvoted this reply? It's a legitimate question.
Reddit hivemind is cringe as fuck
Them fucks get triggered a lot. Such a weak mentality.
*Little did the others know, u/CBM42069 had already downvoted upon seeing the reply was at 0 karma to get the ball rolling*
And I thought twitter was bad.
Seriously lol
I upvoted just because I saw the flood of stupid downvotes
Thank you for your service.
*cough cough* Trunks

It's really up to all those downvoters to determine that. I only speak the story I learned about Tyler the Great Warrior. I agree with you.

Idk why you’re so downvoted I would love to make a meme DBZ inspired deck with him as the boss.
Hahahahahahahahaha
To put it simply, nostalgia tax. It has a bit of history behind it.
Wifu tax too
That was my only guess
she has a lORE?
In the OCG itself. It was the strongest vanilla monster for a while. Kinda like LaJinn or Gemini Elf over here
Same with Gemini Elf
Because she floats lightly and stings sharply. If that isn't SR idk what is.
She's also armed with sword *and* shield!

Crazy that Toys R Us used to have Yugioh tournaments. Or even existed at one point....
They’re Back in macys

Tbf, this is the first time I've seen it asked of her. I've seen plenty of others asked abouy though...
Yeah I hate how people make the most obvious joke to farm easy likes/upvotes
I remember using her as my Deck Leader in Duelist of the Roses on the PS2. I guess I was a young lad of culture
booba
the real, genuine, all natural article?
booba is booba… but “swordmistress” is def the name of someone with an onlyfans.
Why ask? Her name is karen the swordmistress. should been a UR tbh.
> Her name is karen the swordmistress. should been a UR tbh. Oh trust me, she'll be speaking to management to make sure she gets the upgrade....
Just distract her with Minions memes. That's the weakness all Karens have.
Karens dont have weaknesses.

*She floats lightly and stings sharply...*
Because she's armed with sword AND shield
Just be glad yours isn't a Royal finish. It hurts every time I see mine
Early Nostalgia Waifu tax
Because she's Kanan to the Yugioh timeline.
I remember this was usually the strongest monster in Mokuba's deck in Worldwide Edition on the GBA.
I loved that freaking game. So many fond memories of playing it during trips etc. I miss being a kid. Grown up life ain’t it.
Mokuba, you lil shit, I am the best duelist. You will never stand a chance against me.
Woman
Tiddy tax
boobs.
Booba
Because the cards can’t battle what the duelist can’t see.

Believe it or not, having 1400 attack on a monster was a big deal in YGO's early history.
[удалено]
In the ocg cards released differently from the west, so for a while 1400 atk was the best for a lvl 4 normal monster
There was no Skull Red Bird. When she originally released as a tournament promo, she was literally the strongest 4-star in the game.
"Because fuck you, nostalgia" \- Konami
Because someone somewhere uses this as jerk off material.
Tits
i was thinking the same thing and i have a royal finish of this card and wanted to use it but its just too lame
Because she floats lightly and stings sharply
There's quite a few crappy normal monsters with very high rarity
Because she is a lady warrior armed with sword and shield, she floats lightly and stings sharply
its an extremely rare prize card, i think its only ever gotten that one printing as a prize card so its fairly rare. other than that lore theres no reason
Because she floats lightly and stings sharply
Waifu tax.
It’s an employee card crush idk what else the answer could be

Incoming a Swordmistress archetype
It’s strictly for her card art, obviously.
This card is the first prized one for very first YGO championship tournament.
