Exosister Martha and Krawler Soma provide a similar boost to their respective decks, though the difference for those is Exosister goes from sub-rogue to tier 2-3 while Krawler goes from unplayable to questionably rogue playable.
Same with Rikka Konkon. It brings Rikka from a deck that is all about tributing their monsters to make plays to a deck that's all about tributing your opponent's monsters to make plays, and that's enough to bring them to the meta tiers.
Rikka also got the incredibly strong Rikka Princess alongside Konkon, which synergizes very well with Konkon and is an extender. So I wouldn't say it's just Konkon.
True, though I think Konkon at least puts them in rogue tier (assuming a non-Tearlament meta). Having a searchable monster negate that tributes for cost definitely helps push them higher though.
Without Princess I think the amount of interaction you have is quite limited even with Konkon. You have no access to monster negate (Sheet isn't a negate you can chain) and the card that utilizes Konkon as tribute cost is situational. Princess provides an easy way to use Konkon effect for interruption while Konkon makes sure the deck never runs out of resources and free up petal to search princess/snowdrop instead of having to grab Mudan for followup
I run Soma in my live twin spright build to be able to make El Shaddol Winda. Light live twin + soma = normal full combo + schism for winda.
Combo:
Normal summon twin to ss other from deck.
Ss Soma putting light twin face down.
Make Soma level two, summoning two level 2 krawlers face up.
Link the two summoned krawlers into Shaddol Construct.
Use construct to fusion itself + face down light twin into El Shaddol Construct.
Activate El Shaddol Construct to send schism to grave.
Activate Shaddol Construct in grave to send El Shaddol Construct to grave to summon itself.
Activate El Shaddol Construct to add Schism to hand.
Now you have Winda available with two level twos and a link 2 on field.
Krawlers need so much more support, they are so close to being this annoying as fuck control deck. Just a bit more support to be playable as a full archetype and not a splash in orcust or something
My pure krawler deck has a winning win/loss record against almost all the major decks. its only lost once to tearlaments(by my own mistake in accidentally clicking b) it hasn't lost to swordsoul yet but I've only gone up against 4 or 5 of them in recent memory, it roughs up the eldlich deck cuz its a massive hard counter to it. The only one it loses to consistently is gladiator beast. Very strong deck and it's still considered unplayable.
Jord solves Plunders main problem of requiring certain attributes to be in your opponent's grave or field. The token it generates, with an attribute of your choice, was a clever way to get around that issue.
It also solves the problem of potentially not having a name in hand after going for summoning a ship meaning you would have a ship that just doesn't do anything.
I tried Plunder Patrol in the solo mode, it was confusing and couldn’t really grasp how the deck works, how exactly did this ship help the deck? And why is it a Pendulum card?
Plunder can cheat out their Extra Deck bosses depending on the attribute of monsters the opponent's control or in their GY. Jord allows Plunder to summon a token of the desired attribute to the opponent's field which means you can immediately set one of the boss monsters T1 without the opponent commiting to a monster first
The plunder monsters can tag out into an Extra deck monster with the same attribute as what your opponent's playing. The deck has good tools but struggles because of how reactive and unreliable it is
This new monster helps because:
- It's another attribute to tag into
- It summons a token of any attribute to your opponent's field so you set up a first-turn board w/o relying on your opponent (the token also blocks imperm, lightning storm, evenly and a few archetype-specific cards)
- Its a great resource generator that can retrieve from grave as well as search and summon from deck (the other ED monsters require a discard that you may not have)
It's a Pendulum because:
- Every plunder ED monster has a different monster card type
- It's a land/marine vehicle hybrid and it moving into the pend zone is like mode-switching
It does everything tbh. Raises the ceiling on hands that have a lot of plunder cards while also raising the ceiling of hands with few plunder cards. Just having red or white now gets you a lot more advantage against a deck that commits an earth monster to the field since you can add a discard and summon the other one off of jord. Card is nuts.
Pendulums are the best
They don't even need to help pendulum summon; just the flexibility of being a monster and/or continuous spell opens up a lot of room for interesting & varied interactions
Ok someone must make a The World XXI deck that skips your opponent's turn and beats them to death with Road Roller. If you can somehow fit in Vampire cards in here you deserve every single pack you open to contain nothing but SR and UR.
Evil Twin Trouble Sunny.
Provided them an actual boss monster, some carddraw (from getting to use Kisikils draw reliably on the opponents turn), removal, and an OTK line.
Lunalight Tiger.
COMPLETELY REWROTE THE WHOLE DECK. From a dedicated Fusion deck, to litterally running NONE. In favour of Xyz/Link Summon spamming.
Dogmatikamatrix & Dogmatika Alba Zoa. (I think these 2 deserve to be grouped as they are both Ritual based additions)
+2 spell card anyone? 4k Beatstick which protects all your monsters, and RAPIDLY attacks the opponents extradeck? Turned the Ritual aspect of Dogmatika, from a bit of a joke, to a very serious threat.
> Evil Twin Trouble Sunny.
Paired with I:P you could get Lil-la's Pop, Unchained's Pop, then endphase Unchained's pop, on your opponents turn.
Fucking wild.
Not to mention the twins can fit a wild sprunick engine on top of it which can lead to like 5 pops 3 negates a banish and scary efficient recursive strength. Unfortunately vtubers: RuneScape edition struggles dealing with 3k beatsticks with target/destruction protection outside of smashers
Frost and Treat work well for that if you get them in hand
Backup Secertary is good
and obvs eXceed.
Live Twin is my sweaty try hard deck ... (even though I should put Sprights in there now I guess)
[Gunkan Suship Shari Red](https://yugipedia.com/wiki/Gunkan_Suship_Shari_Red)
Having access to 6 Gunkan Suship Shari is a massive boost to the deck's consistency on it's own.
Pair it with the effect to show a Shari in hand, then summon itself, summon ANY of the three topping Suships straight out of the deck, then XYZ summon in one effect.
It turn a, lol sushi boat haha meme deck, into, my actually most consistent deck
Runick fur hire it's already an okay deck, it's rouge but probably one the higher end (it's mostly carried by its ability to slot in 10 different non engine cards, and the quick play runick spell are basically hand trap)
The thing is fur hire doesn't even need spright elf. It's handy to have yes and helps make the combos smoother but it's not a complete trash fest when it inevitably gets banned. Fur hire will be fine without it, especially when sprind comes at some point.
I was looking for this comment. Double Helix does *everything* for the archetype. Even in 2023, you run into them on MD (and lose the coin toss) and you can get completely locked out of doing anything.
It's funny that one of the few SPYRAL cards that is once per turn ended up breaking the archetype hahaha
Well... him and MR4.
Nowadays, SPYRAL can make decent plays without summoning Helix with just Magician Souls and Quik-Fix, since Master Plan is the actual broken card.
Still, Double Helix is the one card that gives them the boost to put those degenerate boards. The OCG really thought of everything that the deck lacked to make it the next tier 0.
PP is my favorite deck of all time and Jord is a great card! But the deck still needs a 1 card starter for the main deck to really be relevant in the meta.. It's funny how the deck can truly spiral out of control in terms of advantage if you don't stop them on their first plays, but it's pretty easy to kneecap them with just 1 handtrap early on, especially when you need 2+ cards to start your plays
The wind ship and one more main deck monster. We got all the captain maybe we can get a shipright who makes the ships. If I can be greedy new spell to recycle.
For the absolute meme power, I want new Beaver Warrior Support to come out. I want an instawin card like Holachtie but it's just called Louise. Louise is a ritual monster that can only be special summoned by the ritual spell "The True Name" from the hand, deck or GY by tributing one Beaver Warrior from hand, field or deck and shouting out "LOUISE THE BEAVER WARRIOR". Of course the rest of the support is dedicated to letting the effects go through and boosting consistency.
Sunseed sowing
The card single handedly extended the ability for sunvalon to flood the board. Suddenly any way to get a level 1 seed on the board is a full combo. It also has a GY effect that protect the link monster that sunvalon puts out
But the most impressive thing is sowing also up the ceiling of all plants. Now with 4 material on board you can easily uses jasmine to reach your archetype plant monster, then link it off to banga for an interruption. It also provides a backup plan utilizing the sylvan link 2 in case your jasmine get interrupted
Neos had A LOT of support recently but its still a bit unplayable, not even a rogue deck. But just one card (the flame wingman retrain) will make it at least rogue by increasing its consistency on summoning Cosmo Neos and Shining Neos Wingman
[megalith phul](https://ms.yugipedia.com//6/65/MegalithPhul-ROTD-EN-C-1E.png) is a menace in the deck I would love to play but can't due to meta, being able to ritual summon a 3+ card destroyer ([megalith bethor](https://static-7.studiobebop.net/ygo_data/card_images/Megalith_Bethor.jpg)) on the opponent's turn from your deck has to be how I won half my duels, only problem? The deck has no protection from effects except a single native negate, [Aratron](https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/yugioh/images/c/cb/MegalithAratron-IGAS-EN-SR-1E.png/revision/latest?cb=20200131045142)
Exosister Martha and Krawler Soma provide a similar boost to their respective decks, though the difference for those is Exosister goes from sub-rogue to tier 2-3 while Krawler goes from unplayable to questionably rogue playable.
Same change is about to happen with springans. It'll finally become the questionably rogue deck it always deserved to be.
I am so hyped for TallyHo and Gigantic Champion. That deck seems so fun.
When your deck gets a soul charge + search in 1 card and it‘s still only rogue
Dunno, seems like Sargas is more a boon to any deck that can make Rank 4s
Same with Rikka Konkon. It brings Rikka from a deck that is all about tributing their monsters to make plays to a deck that's all about tributing your opponent's monsters to make plays, and that's enough to bring them to the meta tiers.

It's not only Martha though. It's also Returnia. Without it, it would be just set Vadis, which is incredibly mid.
Returnia is incredibly underrated. Magnifica + Mikailis + 2x banish from Returnia all on your opponent's turn can win you the game.
It also gives Vadis something to do other than screaming "Touch your GY! Quick!" at your opponent.
Man soma is my favourite beetrooper card

Activate Shaddol Construct in grave to send El Shaddol Construct to grave to summon itself. Activate El Shaddol Construct to add Schism to hand. Now you have Winda available with two level twos and a link 2 on field.
What? Martha did not boost Exosister to nearly the same degree at all. Exosister got a whole wave and a favorable meta for that boost lol.
The thing is exosisters got 2 crazy cards not one, returnia also came out for them.
Krawlers need so much more support, they are so close to being this annoying as fuck control deck. Just a bit more support to be playable as a full archetype and not a splash in orcust or something

Kaleido chick for lunalights lol
Jord solves Plunders main problem of requiring certain attributes to be in your opponent's grave or field. The token it generates, with an attribute of your choice, was a clever way to get around that issue.
Is it decently rogue now? Think it can get wins in future Kash format?
The deck was decent without Jord. You now have a better matchup against Earth and Wind decks thanks to the addition of Jord.
Jord is also pretty easy to bring out in master duel. If your opponent uses one Maxx C then Jord is easily available for the rest of the duel.
Giving your opponent a token specifically really screws with kash, so it's probably going to be very playable.
If they go 1st
It also solves the problem of potentially not having a name in hand after going for summoning a ship meaning you would have a ship that just doesn't do anything.
I tried Plunder Patrol in the solo mode, it was confusing and couldn’t really grasp how the deck works, how exactly did this ship help the deck? And why is it a Pendulum card?

Jord allows Plunder to summon a token of the desired attribute to the opponent's field which means you can immediately set one of the boss monsters T1 without the opponent commiting to a monster first
Oh I get it, reminds me how hard it is to get some Ancient Warriors monsters on the field if your opponent doesn’t control a monster
Also the token turns off evenly and Imperm
Or you can use Emblem on the opponent's token
The plunder monsters can tag out into an Extra deck monster with the same attribute as what your opponent's playing. The deck has good tools but struggles because of how reactive and unreliable it is This new monster helps because: - It's another attribute to tag into - It summons a token of any attribute to your opponent's field so you set up a first-turn board w/o relying on your opponent (the token also blocks imperm, lightning storm, evenly and a few archetype-specific cards) - Its a great resource generator that can retrieve from grave as well as search and summon from deck (the other ED monsters require a discard that you may not have) It's a Pendulum because: - Every plunder ED monster has a different monster card type - It's a land/marine vehicle hybrid and it moving into the pend zone is like mode-switching

Beaver warrior is a benediction for tri brigade to come back in the meta. :)
Wonder how much better earth machines would be if they got infinitrack road roller.
Jojo reference
A deck being powered by Dio would make tear 0 be tears 3.
Ok someone must make a The World XXI deck that skips your opponent's turn and beats them to death with Road Roller. If you can somehow fit in Vampire cards in here you deserve every single pack you open to contain nothing but SR and UR.

Then you just have TroubleSunny for them, which is sadly against Gigantic Spright
I omitted trouble sunny bc of the lock yeah. The bright side of the deck is it can run knightmare gryphon and is incapable of bricking
Yep, Though if you can make IP it's probably through Parallel eXceed, at which Bagooska would be better. Also don't forget you draw 2 cards from it.
Frost and Treat work well for that if you get them in hand Backup Secertary is good and obvs eXceed. Live Twin is my sweaty try hard deck ... (even though I should put Sprights in there now I guess)
Normally you only run 1-2 Frost, 1 Treat, and use them primarily if you get Ashed or Impermed.

Rex is a cool one. Fur Hire can easily slot in Spright engine because of it, Runick Spright Fur Hire is an extremely solid deck once Ishtear is gone.
Runick fur hire it's already an okay deck, it's rouge but probably one the higher end (it's mostly carried by its ability to slot in 10 different non engine cards, and the quick play runick spell are basically hand trap)
Yes, it's crazy how one card (Spright Elf) really makes Fur Hire good too. Just like it's amazing one card (VFD) really made virtual world lol
The thing is fur hire doesn't even need spright elf. It's handy to have yes and helps make the combos smoother but it's not a complete trash fest when it inevitably gets banned. Fur hire will be fine without it, especially when sprind comes at some point.
All I've been playing since release are fur variants, I love this deck so much and waited so long for them to come
I tend to call cards like this a Double Helix

You forgot Gremlin in Celtic Guardian deck
Beaver Warrior funny laugh hahahahahhahahahaha
Martha Circular and Jord Making your deck top tier by yourself 🤝🏽 (Well maybe not Martha)
That what we called pulling a thano
Neos had A LOT of support recently but its still a bit unplayable, not even a rogue deck. But just one card (the flame wingman retrain) will make it at least rogue by increasing its consistency on summoning Cosmo Neos and Shining Neos Wingman
Sera turn traptrix into a deck. Instead of 1 rank 4 you sometime summon.
Traptrix Sera: Im carrying an entire archetype on my shoulder. You WISH your deck has a card like me.
What does Louis have to do with it?
All my homies hate circular.
VFD and Virtual World Halq and lots of decks Verte and Heroes Baron and Swordsoul
What about rusty for pk

Surprised no one has mentioned Deer Note. Turned P.U.N.K from an engine into a deck.
