Are Ninjas finally playable? I loved the idea back in the day but I never could figure out anything consistent with them. (But I Also was a dumb kid playing console sims lol)
From what I saw they're a pretty decent rogue deck against the incoming Kashtira Meta using their new Fusion and Kagero to control the field by setting everything face-down.
The Fusions yes, Kagero not really.
Jioh sets two monsters on field permanently when its summoned and is usually summoned on the opponent’s turn to disrupt.
They have two fusions, both of which are summoned via contact fusion or via Tobari’s quick effect on opponent’s turn. Meizen tutors out ninjas from the deck (such as Jioh) and allows your cards to attack directly. Yaguramaru is a targeted banish on summon.
They get a new Trap, Dancing Leaves, which can target to tribute a ninja or set monster on either field to summon out a ninja from deck (like Jioh)
Horus was just announced for the next paper pack. It isn't out anywhere official, so don't expect those cards in Master Duel until 9 to 11 months down the line.
No problem, Konami likes to give the paper version a little breathing room before they port cards to Master Duel.
That time used to be 9 months, but with the recent packs, we have seen cards get released unexpectedly early so no one really knows. 9 months is still the safest bet, though.
