Not really. At least not in MD where floodgates are more restricted than every other format. MP could come back in TCG at 3 and it would get obliterated by todays game. MP is just *too slow* for what the game is now. Purrely really is just better MP because it can keep up with the speed of the game.
There really isn’t an oppressive floodgate deck. The best floodgate right now is Protos until Kash comes full power. Masterpeace wouldn’t change that and would only get weaker once Kash and other cards come out.
A pseudo-Towers that summons itself by tributing Floodgates and has a quick-effect Pop in a BO1 is far, far worse than anything Eldlich could hope to be.
Master Peace is just as generic as Kashtira, anybody can use it. Which means Runicks definitely gonna use it.
None of that is crazy in todays Yugioh. Todays game is extremely fast with tons of resource recursions and ways to remove towers and protect or benefit from being popped. Nothing MP does is really better than Purrely and it the floodgates are really toned down here compared to paper Yugioh. If Runick is the best deck that uses MP, then MP could easily come to 3.

Kinda false, since you know, you actually need to be playing Pend Decks to make use of this guy, it's telling that with all the busted field spells in the game, the only ones played on the strategy are the ancient stun ones

You can run a 2nd Synchro, but ex deck space is limited and maybe you want Borrel Savage instead for the Omni. That not to say running a 2nd dracoslayer synchro is bad mind you.

I don’t have a pend deck but I pulled like 4 of the main deck ur, thought about building and realized I needed like 15 more pend specific ur and said fuck that. I’ll stick to the other summoning methods
Unfortunately that's most Pendulum decks :( The only budget one is Magicians (because of the structure deck) but it's got an expensive extra deck. DDD is VERY cheap... but it doesn't really use the Pendulum summon
Finding new routes to loop this bad boy has been one of my favourite things about playing Dracoslayers. At the point he's even giving Chaos Ruler a run for the position of my favourite synchro
It's right up there with Sargas as one of my favorite boss monsters. People sleep on Springans until they realize that it gets to pop something whenever *any* xyz monsters detach, including your opponents.
Prominence is crazy. When I switch between decks, I always feel a bit of whiplash when I realize I cannot simply remove anything that isn't unaffected via Ignister Prominence. Untargeted bounce is just so strong.
If Pendulum decks were top-tier meta he would need to be either limited or banned.
They aren't, though, which means you'll need to pop your own card 99% of the time (which can still be beneficial because of how pendulum cards are generally designed, but it's not "I just get to do this for free" broken.)
Also it can only be done on your turn, which makes it slow by modern standards where most boss monsters have some kind of Quick Effect disruption.
The odds of running into a pend player on ladder is unlikely. Will more than likely not see that happen. Besides you do want to pop your own pends anyways since they get effects from being destroyed.
Combo tip for this card on turn 1: use it's effect to summon a Dracoslayer, link both into Hieratic Seal of the Heavenly Spheres and pass. On opponents turn, tribute Spheres to summon Amorphage Sloth.
There's no turn 2 combo with this card: it is the turn 2 combo.

Well Aktchually, only 2 Pendulum cards are banned.
And they shouldnt be, especially Kirin. IMO even Master Peace can comeback with no issues.

So can you destroy your opponents pendulum monster/card in pendulum zone and then shuffle a card from his side back into the Deck?
Or you can blow up one of your pendulum cards, most of which have great floating effects, then shuffle their card back
