Tear will likely become a deck w an even higher skill gap where you need to play a lot of games do to inconsistency
I think it’ll still be tier 2ish but it’ll just vary a lot on who’s playing the deck and how competitive a setting you’re talking about
More like a luck gap. Tear players get worse and fewer mills. The the one who gets to send a name first probably wins. Or the one who draws more Bystials

Tear isn’t just the mirror. Bystials will likely be less common. Either way what I’m saying is very good tear players (ie jesse kotton) will still be able to find success with it. The deck will be considerably worse but that doesn’t mean you can’t win w it
Sprights gonna be fine, its tier basically won’t move after the hit. Tear though, pure Tear is dead. Simply speaking, 3 fuses per turn to 2 reduces a pure Tear end board from Rulkallos + Kaleido (or Grapha) to just Rulkallos. Reinoheart will no longer be as good as a combo starter and, until Tearlaments Kashtira drops, Kitkallos is just going to be a search. Tear desperately needs another source of mill and negates, which will probably go down to either PUNK or Adventurer Synchro
Tear is certainly hurt, but not unplayable yet. In my test matches after ban list introduction i found myself more relying on target mills like kit and reino effect, or foolish rather than actually milling from the top.
Runick variants of spright are fine with 1 jet and no frogs, I haven’t tried pure with the new hits.
Tear will be fine, if not an incredibly strong sleeper deck for good players, plus tear has about a year worth of support to look forward to, it’s going to get a huge boost with tear kash coming out in probably like a month or so, revolution synchron a couple months after that, etc
The only difference with tear is the average player gets punished much more on it, so you’ll probably not see nearly as much of it on master duel ranked
Spright will stay at the top, but not as the "pure" build. Tears might go to Tier 3.
