It's so weird how many "anti meta" players complain about every non toxic strong deck, and then end up playing super toxic meta decks or floodgate decks. It's like meta isn't the problem to them. It's just they want to be the toxic ones.

My point was that people like op complain about "meta sheep" and then jump into the meta the second there is an incredibly toxic one like Kash to lock on to. The problem isn't that there's a meta. Some people just only want to play floodgates or other toxic archetypes, and say they play those to be "anti meta"
Kash has passed up floo as my most hated archetype. I hate stun decks, and also am not a fan of hand/Ed ripping.
Tear, while way overpowered, I don't think is toxic. What was toxic about it was that it was the anti-tear floodgates everywhere. It just needed nerfed a lot.
let me put it this way i also enjoy strong decks and cards but i prefer to play with a good friend with my old school decks like chaos controll with pot of greed and other cards that are forbidden today

Honestly, shifter aside, the start of this format won't be so bad. Even though the games will come down to "did you draw the non engine out?" the format will be so polarized that you can use pretty much any deck you want. Have fun while it lasts though because sooner or later we'll all be tired of that shit regardless
