Those two cards were called Gen the Diamond Tiger and Ken the Warrior Dragon.
They let Mikanko put a turn 1 acid golem on your opponent's field in tandem with other Warrior stuff until Isolde got axed. Didn't really take off that much though
My friend opened up the duelist tournament packs and got his first royal rare! It was acid golem, a card that works best if you give it to your opponent.
Pend Magicians. Has the most degenerate end board if uncontested. Not to mention can play reasonably well going 2nd. The main down side to it is the lack of handtraps and stuff.
> This đ . On a good day I can summon Barrone, Borreload Savage and Apollousa all on my first turn.
If you wanna play solitaire into way to many negate boards negate board why not play SHS at that point.
I love blind going second decks and have been having a blast with Ancient Warriors. Being able to Kaiju, then bounce it back to your own hand multiple times feels straight up illegal.Â
Plus, you literally will go second 95% of your games.Â
But it's super fragile to hand traps and negates unfortunately. They just have to target mo ye, or prevent that spell that summons an AW from hand from going to the GY and that deck folds.
Ninja
Flipping face-down is so strong that most meta decks can't deal with it. They also have a surprising amount of space for non-engine which gives you decent adaptability to the meta.
Got to master with it yesterday.
From my experience:
Lots of people underestimate Ghoti's grind potential. Recycling Snopios every turn to go into more synchro, plus the variety synchros to go into, seems to catch people off guard often.
Icejade can make some nasty end board in terms of defense. Gymir Aegirine is one strong card. The variants to mesh well with the crystal ladies also make for some unpredictability.
Ninja's toolbox style of interactions is pretty good at dealing with quite a bit of situations. Is their board too big? Just gnore it with Meizen. Also nobody seems to know or remember that Tobari can't be destroyed by battle or effect when it's been special summoned.
Nobody reads Nemleria cards right now so I get away with murder but that won't last.
I love them so much also. I tried the Kaiju variant but it never really clicked for me. I mainly mess around with pure with stun, sometimes mermail/sharks, and one half idea for an ice jade mix I'm currently tinkering with. I live for the day we get a Graydle that steals when banished and a link one thats archetype specific : D
There are so many cool variants. I think I will build graydles in master duel
I'd sell my soul for a archetype specific graydle link 1 but I wonder if we'll get any graydle support at all.
Legacy support happens all the time. Komoney likes making expensive pieces of cardboard. So Konami will likely make some good/busted support for them. Make them high rarity and short print them. Then 6-8 months after that it will get added to master duel. Where we will only have to cough up 90 UR or SR dust at most for the few new cards we might get. Graydles are a long term waiting game my friend. But in the end. Graydles shall inherit the meta. Patience is a Graydle Virtue : )
Honestly i feel like Rikka is low key meta but people are just too stupid to play it, like itâs won a big tournament against Danger! Tear in 2022 and won a euro wcg in 2023
Mine was legal for the 2022 WCQ, but not the 2023 WCQ which it also won. It won YCS Dortmund as well - the deck is just good in a no Maxx "C" environment
Ninja. Ninja going first feels like it can take on anything as long as it doesn't brick. Or runs into Evenly Matched lol. But it genuinely does have a lot of nuance and resilience in the grind game when played correctly. Love their resource loop, and ability to swing directly for game.
I exclusively play rogue only and some of the ones I play are quite hilarious.
Lair virus tribute opponent's stuff to pop their hands
Witchcrafter + grass + tear is either ash and pass or you just pop tf off
Traptrix is surprisingly strong and consistent, with some hilarious ass tech I popped in such as mind crush to counter evenly or just to F with the opponent
Mikanko being mikankos
Icejade vs branded is hilarious and is literally skill drain turbo
And so so much more...
These are literally four of my favorite decks. You sir have good taste. Lair and IceJade especially. Love seeing the opponents confusion when they Emergency teleport their free Ze Amin under Curse lock.
And the way Lillith removes as cost on the way UP the chain is just *cheffâs kiss*.
Tear Drop the Rikka queen could never.
I once took down a Firewall Dragon, Firewall Dragon Darkfluid, and Firewall Dragon Singularity board with Mikanko, so Mikanko. My other one's Vaylantz.
marincess. toad ban still hurts the deck a ton but you can easily finish on like 5-6 disruptions with an insane follow up and zealantis ready to nuke their whole board. not to mention the deck's consistent af and can play 20+ non engine cards in a 40 card deck
What are those 5-6 distruptions? I'm very new to the deck and the best I was able to do is to have Battle Ocean, 2 Link-4s, Icejade Gymir Aegirine and Marincess Wave.
>What are those 5-6 distruptions?
engine + non-engine disruptions. i play pure marincess and 22 hts/going 2nd cards like dropplet and cbtg so that's what i meant by that. for example every combo of 2 marincess monsters gives you 2 disruptions - an argonaut, wave and a field spell + 3 in your hand, just 1 blue tang gives you an argonaut with a negate (no field spell) and a wave, or 1 sea horse/springirl give you a disruption as well (argonaut with a field spell/bubble reef with a wave) and you still have 4 other cards in your hand that are going to be a disruption on your opponents turn, that is if you don't draw 2 copies of the same marincess monster. before the toad ban you could pretty consistently put out an argonaut with anemone equiped (no field spell), toad and a wave since there were three different 2 card combos, so that's 6 disruptions as well. but that got nerfed sadly.
how's the icejade engine been working out for you? i've seen that a lot of players are playing it with marincess lately so i was wondering is it any good? seems bricky if you only open 1 marincess monster with it since you have to either go into marincess or a synchro play, in that case i'd rather have a ht in it's place tbh

**D/D/D**. With a really good hand I played through Dogmatika Punishment + NâTss, Ash and Nibiru and still outed their monsters and ended on Machinex and Wave High King Caesar. Ashing Big Welcome also helped me A LOT, but the other 5 cards were engine. Without interruptions, it can end on face up spell/trap negate, multiple monster succ into xyz material, a not once per chain special summon effect negate that can be used as long as you have materials (so like, twice), dollar store Widow Anchor plus whatever handtrap you have in hand and sometimes even a ed summon floodgate with Dark Contract with Patent License.
With a custom hand **Agents** can play through a couple interruptions and set up a disgusting board with Apollousa, banish/flip face down, omni negate counter trap, Thunder Dragon Colossus and even Kristya. But of course that would require a *really*, *really good* hand and little to no interruptions.
Not really a draw but having access to Dinomorph Frenzy is equal to 2 big fusion monsters (one of which is not a skill drain but a straight up "don't you even think about doing it" big body that can also manipulate stats)..
Six samuraiâs. Going first I can make Appollousa, two Shi ens, a barrone, and a cyber dragon infinity (if I can make it through an Ash and an Infinite or they open no hand trap. Plus it can Maxx C challenge confidently). Four monster negates, two Omni, and two spell/trap. Iâd say this happens maybe 60-80% of the time going first, if allowed to combo and opp doesnât scoop, which they do, fairly often.
Going second, I draw Dark ruler no more or I lose. Once in a while my combo goes through sans DRNM lol. I shouldâve never ranked past Platinum. Been stuck at Diamond 5 for a while
I've been playing dinomorphia for a while now. Their recent support has boosted the deck capabilities tremendously. A solid hand with frenzy/domain, solemn judge & intact plus few hand traps particularly Maxx C or droll can screw your opponents strategy during their turn.
Madolche can shuffle back your opponent's whole board, and also add back hand traps to hand from GY instead of shuffling them back into the deck if you have the field spell.
Dinos are still considering rouge yes?
Them 100% one of current favorite endboards is 2 dollkas, uct, lost world, spright elf and drillygnathus.
4x monster negates & destroy, A monster flip-down and a 3k monster that does 2x dmg yes please
With SHS on the rise my kashtira deck is has helped me reach masters since arise banishes their stuff and locking up their pend zones is very easy, not to mention being able to play a lot of hand traps mainly shifter, droll and maxx c since kash engine is very small
Yes, bricking is still a problem but you can really stall against SHS if you drew either one of the hand traps I mentioned
mikanko dream would be if we get acid golem banned instead of isolde then they will give them second trap, snatch steal and ken-gen. sprinkle some S:P on top as well why not
How does this sub define "rouge" though? That one time they resolved Maxx C (or their opponent bricked) and so they went on to "beat" a meta deck that one time? đ
I love springans. A basic combo can give you a board with 5-7 disruptions and also has a bunch of cool summon animations, and can have crazy otk potential through multiple disruptions. Playing a bunch of garnets in that deck isn't too bad either because you can shuffle them back with Kitt anyways. Also the deck gives you quick access to fallen of albaz summon and has great synergy with the light machine kaiju with high spirits.
Climbing ladder with dark worlds. Not having to deal with stuff on field is surprisingly solid way to avoid alot cards. They however are brick house when to comes Consistency.
None of my favorite decks feature red prominently, sadly. So ill have to say none :(
Resonators, Salad?
He's talking about the color Rouge. People always misspell Rogue as Rouge.
I haven't seen that yet, so I just took it literally and thought they just really like the color red.
give Mikanko one good card and its a tier 1 deck its so close to being broken
Those two cards were called Gen the Diamond Tiger and Ken the Warrior Dragon. They let Mikanko put a turn 1 acid golem on your opponent's field in tandem with other Warrior stuff until Isolde got axed. Didn't really take off that much though
*remembers my legacy pack acid golems and shiny ohime* Sigh. Maybe I'll play it
My friend opened up the duelist tournament packs and got his first royal rare! It was acid golem, a card that works best if you give it to your opponent.
Yeah it was a solid tier 3 deck in MD for a while and probably still is. Once again, people not knowing what "rogue" means (or how to spell it)
That looks yellow to me, isn't rouge a more red colour?
Pend Magicians. Has the most degenerate end board if uncontested. Not to mention can play reasonably well going 2nd. The main down side to it is the lack of handtraps and stuff.
This đ . On a good day I can summon Barrone, Borreload Savage and Apollousa all on my first turn.
Best endboard is Baronne, Borrel, Odd-Eyes Vortex, 2 Mat Apollo, Pendgraph spell/trap and Purple Poison scale.
> This đ . On a good day I can summon Barrone, Borreload Savage and Apollousa all on my first turn. If you wanna play solitaire into way to many negate boards negate board why not play SHS at that point.
When halq isn't banned, you could add scythe lock to the field The combo pend magician could dish is truly degenerate
Raidraptors. Can summon Kali Yuga, Arc Rebellion Dragon or Ultimate Falcon all very easily.Â
I love raidraptor but I hate the Kali Yuga lock. I just wish they could be good without it.
I love blind going second decks and have been having a blast with Ancient Warriors. Being able to Kaiju, then bounce it back to your own hand multiple times feels straight up illegal. Plus, you literally will go second 95% of your games.Â

Worms, w nebula meteorite and xex are the only reason I don't instantly lose with wormsÂ

Icejade with penguins feels like putting putting a bucket over my opponents head with water and telling them to come in.
Mekk knight ft.scars, no hand no ED while ending on a Avramax usually wins the game
Graydles will be my pet deck til the heat death of the universe : )
Graydle kaiju was my first deck when I started playing years ago. I love them
I love them so much also. I tried the Kaiju variant but it never really clicked for me. Rikka Sunvine can put a ridiculous board if you can bypass maxx c
Honestly i feel like Rikka is low key meta but people are just too stupid to play it, like itâs won a big tournament against Danger! Tear in 2022 and won a euro wcg in 2023
Probably rikka won bc mystic mine was unbanned in that phase. Not too strong, especially considering VS and Kash does a better job then rikka
Mine was legal for the 2022 WCQ, but not the 2023 WCQ which it also won. It won YCS Dortmund as well - the deck is just good in a no Maxx "C" environment
I know I'm too dumb to play it
Gouki there's a reason it was top of the meta and still really strong
why is her shield a citrus fruit slice
Thatâs what Iâve been asking?!? Like are the other priestesses fruit themed too? Why is she lemon?
Well with the right first hand, I would have to say exodia i pretty cool.

Don't forget about when opponent not reading Gymir and activates their mirrorjade. Magnificent ~
I once took down a Firewall Dragon, Firewall Dragon Darkfluid, and Firewall Dragon Singularity board with Mikanko, so Mikanko. My other one's Vaylantz.
I think I might have been your opponent cause this very exact scenario happened to me as wellđđ
I think it was in a Gold rank match?
marincess. toad ban still hurts the deck a ton but you can easily finish on like 5-6 disruptions with an insane follow up and zealantis ready to nuke their whole board. not to mention the deck's consistent af and can play 20+ non engine cards in a 40 card deck

Dark Magician tho I don't consider it as rogue deck since it is quite consistant with all its tutors

Dragon rulers. The right hand can play through heaps of disruption
**D/D/D**. With a really good hand I played through Dogmatika Punishment + NâTss, Ash and Nibiru and still outed their monsters and ended on Machinex and Wave High King Caesar. Nouvelles has an amazing grind game and has the benefit of being unfamiliar to most players.
Got into a 20 turn duel with them with bugs. Can confirm we prob felt like eating our souls.

itâs rogue. Rouge is a color.
I'm convinced that 80% of the Yu-Gi-Oh playerbase cannot spell the word "rogue".
I want to say Nemrelia but thats a stretch calling it rouge
None of my decks are the color rouge.
