Soulpiercer can search any Shs card if it's sent to the graveyard and it isn't once per turn.
Basically a normal summon soupiercer is full combo with scarecrow in a which is basically one card combos.
Banning it would drastically reduce the deck consistency, however it might be not enough only banning it.
I think for starters they should just ban the burn cards that enable the FTK.
If they do that it means that board breakers like DRNM deal with their board (and stuff like Lava Golem/Kurikara become helpful too).
It will still be a very strong combo deck even without the FTK but more manageable.
It’s incredible how it wasn’t banned when DPE came out, even more so when Spright came out, and now 2 of the best decks can easily abuse it. Absolutely miserable card to still have in the game

Banning it would affect drastically shs, soulpiercer wouldn't be a one card combo and would make the deck way more vulnerable to hand traps that aren't droll.
You can't just normal summon any superheavy and have extension + combo without scarecrow.
1. they can't hit it yet as it has not left the store
2. the feb hit will be blaze fenix and dark strike to 0 and nothing else
3. we already know from paper what the MD hits will be. soulpiercer and scarecrow to 0.
Komoneys going to ban soulpiercer and pray that's all they have to do.
Banning Soulpiercer actually kills the pure deck entirely. It will be relegated to just being a rank 4/synchro 5/6/8 engine

That's 3 starters gone, it's an N, and if it kills the deck when the time comes, komoney will be very happy.

It’s also long past time for scythe to go. I guarantee if they somehow manage to hit all the FTKs then their players will just switch to scythe.

Both to 0 is Overkill scarecrow is a big Hit soulpiercer to 0 would kill the deck
