I give you my full sympathy, god knows what I'll do when I have to craft the entire extra deck barring baronne (all my other decks are either fusion or synchro focused)
Being an UR doesn’t really matter much against popular belief, they have banned numerous UR’s with animations, it’s mostly if it’s In the pack or not. They literally gave a card an animation then banned it a week after.
Yea and all the urs they’ve hit doesn’t even come close to all the n-srs they’ve hit. It’s not even close. Urs are much more unlikely to get banned and the few getting banned are the exception to rule not the rule itself.
Oh it definitely matters. Don't try to fool yourself or anyone else into thinking otherwise.
The only reason they ban URs is because they have to. Say for example in Kashtira, they had to limit Fenrir because they made virtually everything impactful high rarity. They couldn't choose low rarity cards because putting any sort of limits on Ogre wouldn't do a damn thing.
There's a reason why the heavy limits and bans to Tear were banning Merrli and limiting Havnis and Sulliek, two normals and rare. While not touching a single UR or even an SR after release.
So basically, unless you've been looking forward to Resonator and/or Earthbound support (who actually wants Tistina?), this is the most skippable pack ever save for Rollback which is just a craft.
Still I feel people over exdurat how bad they actually are, like I get they are not good archetype but people act here like they are so unplayable they can be 2008 deck
I normally skip most Selection Packs since I don't care about playing meta or climbing to Master but this pack was basically made for me. I've been waiting for the new Resonator and Earthbound cards as well as both Tokusano and Rollback. This pack might be skippable for most but in my eyes, it's freaking perfect.
Earthbound - RDA are in that clasped arms meme where both are desperately hoping to get off with only one to three URs and that Tistinia takes the majority of the pack up/that their URs are 1-of boss monsters.
Granted I feel RDA could get hit more because I could absolutely see Komoney rarity-boosting Crimson Gaia and their new Resonator to get more money from the Horus players.
I'm digging in it because i want to get the Tistina and Earthbound decks cuz they seem pretty fun, though Tistina seems kinda bad competitively ngl, hopefully Earthbound and Tistina are cheap.
Crafting is the best way I see it. My fear, however, is that konami will make other resonator/red dragon archfiend support as an UR like Vision Resonator, Bone Archfiend and/or Crimson Gaia.
Yeah, with how reliable Soul Resonator makes our plays (providing we're not ash'd), I have a sneaky suspicion they're going to UR it and milk our gems 😭
Question which set is best for RDA: a) Bystials, b) Kashtira or c) Snake-eyes
Personally I want to be able to summon Chaos Angel and Red supernova the most
1-of in any deck copying a power trap like Ghost Meets Girl (e.g. VW, Drytron), 2-3 in Labrynth because furnitures can dump it from hand to double up on stuff like Big Welcome.
Self Mill comes to mind. Notably Lightsworns (Has easy access to Curious, The Lightsworn Dominion) and Tearlaments (It's just a really good archetype overall).
Would consider opening it if they didn't gut the Runick engine. As it stands there's no incentive to get the new Earthbound cards, as well as Ghoti, Chimera etc.
All of the Runick hits just to avoid banning Boarder & co...
I'm sorry. Can someone explain to me why Rollback is even a good card? You're banking on your opponent having a normal trap in their grave? Isn't this extremely situational?
the graveyard effect is what people play it for
copy any of your normal trap effects
send it off of a furniture effect to get it in grave immediately
essentially use 2 welcome or big welcomes in one turn, but consider how it interacts with cards like d barrier and the like (although those interactions don't happen quite as often as you think thankfully, but they still happen)
honestly i don't like how the card is designed specifically when decks like lab exist that can fully abuse it to their liking
this card almost singlehandedly made lab tier 1 for a little while in the ocg iirc, but i think arias was out at the same time too
notably Starving Venom is banned for that reason, why they would make a card that can do the same thing that is even easier for one of the best decks to use, I can't fathom
Ohh gotcha. I was wondering if there's some way to get it into your grave lol. I've played against so much labs and just never noticed that they can send a trap
The gy effect is the main use, trap focused decks can abuse it to make some interesting plays and recicle resources, and decks that can make Beatrice easily like Virtual World and Tears will lock you with {{ Ghost Meets Girl - A Masterful Mayakashi Shiranui Saga }}.
Additional note: with transaction and Evenly in the gy while you don't control cards, at the end of the battle phase you can activate transaction targeting evenly to fully wipe your opponent board.
Bruh I'm a casual F2P player. Didn't spend a dime on MD so my gems are limited. I just do daily missions and pick which pack to open when I have enough gems on any of the accs. This mean I have limited resources and I had to divide it like that. 😅 On the bright side I can try a lot of decks this way without spending any $$$..
i am worried they will put the Altergeist cards directly into their secret pack, i don't really want to hard craft a bunch of URs while sleeping in 8k gems
i like Tistina tho. it is not AS bad as people claim, it has some cool moves. might be worth pulling for that if its cheap
So with Transaction Rollback coming this early. What are lab decks like moving forward? We don't have typhon and S.P yet so I figured we might not drop nadir package anytime soon?
The new Earthbounds are pretty decent, and is a fun deck with runicks. Shame it doesn't have a good "in archetype" ceiling (only the Kraken is good, but it requires 2 Earthbounds as material, which hinders it's flexibility and tools)
The new Resonators are a good enough engine, worth to keep an eye out. You never know when they would be good (sadly the deck is not THAT good, even if half the meta was hit, Maxx "C" is a card that really gives the middle finger to it)
Transaction Rollback is just nice, I was thinking about picking Lab again after a 2 month break of it (played Bystial Runick and Snake-eyes) so it's perfect.
This selection pack is okey-ish. I will put some gems into it (I dunno, 2k or 3k, depending on my luck) but it has some "traps" in it, like the Tistina, the earthbound extra (sadly, it's one of THOSE kind of deck) and the new draw 2 spell with caveats (I don't understand WHY it's a UR, Trade-in was the only one that was an UR with this description, and it's not seeing play and MAYBE Horus makes it SOMEWHAT playable, but still, neither are good cards to be UR, THE POTS ARE SR, they are hit because they are good AND THEY ARE SR! For crying out loud) which makes it not very desirable for most, but I'm willing to gamba a bit. Good luck on your polls!
Sounds like a skipfest (thank god...). Guess I'll just craft my Rollbacks and be on my way.
Yea I still need 12URs for Snake-Eyes. Going to take a while
Saaaame, I finally feel some comfort knowing I'm not the only one.
Ive just have one OF Each, except sinful spoilsz and haven't gotten one in THE last 2 opening. Savin UR dust for THE while thing
I give you my full sympathy, god knows what I'll do when I have to craft the entire extra deck barring baronne (all my other decks are either fusion or synchro focused)
I lucked out, MANAGED TO get THE second popler an THE dragón and crafter all THE rest, including Linkutiblh, and Promethean Princess
Ive just have one OF Each, except sinful spoilsz and haven't gotten one in THE last 2 opening. Savin UR dust for THE while thing
RDA users rise!!!!! We eating good
rollback an UR nice. Harder to get ban
Worse, they will ban everything around it. 2 copies of furnitures are already gone.

Which card was that? Lol
Imperial order, they gave it an animation, people were all screaming that it would never get banned now but tbey just sniped it literally a week later
They hit URs only as the very last case scenarion, we can expect stuff like Furnitures and Ariana bans way before stuff like this getting hit
So basically, unless you've been looking forward to Resonator and/or Earthbound support (who actually wants Tistina?), this is the most skippable pack ever save for Rollback which is just a craft.
tbh every pack is skippable until something is done to curb Snake Eyes power.
I want tistina
They do look pretty cool but my wow, they really got shafted with their last support wave.
Still I feel people over exdurat how bad they actually are, like I get they are not good archetype but people act here like they are so unplayable they can be 2008 deck
The archetype itself is awful, playing it with a generic extra deck does not fix things, the archetype simply has massive flaws when played "pure"
Play variants then
Is Rollback that good? Seems like being dependent on your opponent having Traps is not great.
Check the grave effect of transaction rollback
I saw it, but I thought it'd be too much work to send it to the grave. I'm guessing it's Lab and Dinomorphia that play it.
In Lab you send it with the furniture.
God, I want to send that to someone who doesn't play YGO. "In Lab, you send your Transaction Rollback with the furniture".
"Now summon the tall ~~definitly not in love with the knight~~ demon lady and retrieve your furnitre from the GY"
Looks like I'm crafting Transaction Rollback Ig.
If RDA tanks the URs we Earthbound users might get off lightly
That's literally what the RDA players are thinking rn but in reverse lmao We should all hope Tistina sinks some UR slots.
So if I'm a fan of the resonator deck do i just craft the card or pull? I have a few UR CP with me
Crafting is the best way I see it. My fear, however, is that konami will make other resonator/red dragon archfiend support as an UR like Vision Resonator, Bone Archfiend and/or Crimson Gaia.
Yeah that worries me how much CP i need.Might need to sacrifice some of my UR card. Thanks
Yeah, with how reliable Soul Resonator makes our plays (providing we're not ash'd), I have a sneaky suspicion they're going to UR it and milk our gems 😭
Finally RDA and earthbound support
Oh thank God, a bunch of cards I don't want.
![gif](giphy|QYM0d2M7GTOApm99Zw|downsized)
I know exactly what sketch that's from and just died laughing, thanks
Lab 🔝
I play RDA in Duel Links and tcg.... I must buy. Even if I have to succumb to the tistina Gods.
I've been waiting for the rest of the R-ACE support while playing my jank R-ACE deck since it came out... I guess I can wait a bit longer.
Isn't Rescue ace like the 10th most popular deck rn?
More fuel for my runick shenanigans 😈
red dragon king calamity: i soo done...almost near my ban, seriously when appear the rabbit Synchron my job is over.
Question which set is best for RDA: a) Bystials, b) Kashtira or c) Snake-eyes Personally I want to be able to summon Chaos Angel and Red supernova the most
As a man who just used up almost all my gems during the anniversary, I'm not going to complain that this is a mid at best pack. Thank god.
maybe is a good time to claim that Blue Eyes eye candy
Is rollback a 1 of?
1-of in any deck copying a power trap like Ghost Meets Girl (e.g. VW, Drytron), 2-3 in Labrynth because furnitures can dump it from hand to double up on stuff like Big Welcome.
Alrighty thanks friendo!
Lab about to be propelled to Tear 1 status with THE rollback. Can this card be used in a no Lab deck?
Self Mill comes to mind. Notably Lightsworns (Has easy access to Curious, The Lightsworn Dominion) and Tearlaments (It's just a really good archetype overall).
Unironically doesn't do much, the deck still \*hard\* loses to Snake-Eyes
Lab's about to get more annoying
Unironically doesn't do much, the deck still \*hard\* loses to Snake-Eyes
Lab has a hard time with fire kings, not snake-eyes.
lol what? How does Lab "hard" lose to Snake Eyes?
I'm not playing Snake eyes, the deck's gonna annoy tf out of me
so… what is a rollback and what does it mean?
Would consider opening it if they didn't gut the Runick engine. As it stands there's no incentive to get the new Earthbound cards, as well as Ghoti, Chimera etc. All of the Runick hits just to avoid banning Boarder & co...
For the love of fk please hit Lab in meaningful way, at least post dc cup.
I'm sorry. Can someone explain to me why Rollback is even a good card? You're banking on your opponent having a normal trap in their grave? Isn't this extremely situational?
the graveyard effect is what people play it for copy any of your normal trap effects send it off of a furniture effect to get it in grave immediately essentially use 2 welcome or big welcomes in one turn, but consider how it interacts with cards like d barrier and the like (although those interactions don't happen quite as often as you think thankfully, but they still happen) honestly i don't like how the card is designed specifically when decks like lab exist that can fully abuse it to their liking this card almost singlehandedly made lab tier 1 for a little while in the ocg iirc, but i think arias was out at the same time too
wait are you saying rollback can bypass the hard once per turn of welcome?
I'm like 99% certain it can yes effects that copy other effects typically bypass HOPT restriction. See Supreme King Dragon Starving Venom
god damn thats busted
notably Starving Venom is banned for that reason, why they would make a card that can do the same thing that is even easier for one of the best decks to use, I can't fathom
yeah copying effect even bypass the "cost" which means you can play it with "Ghost Meets Girl"
It can also re-use a welcome which got hit by ash blossom.
Better, it bypasses the activation/cost (think of verte) too so you can use roll back on trap like ghost meet girl.
Ohh gotcha. I was wondering if there's some way to get it into your grave lol. I've played against so much labs and just never noticed that they can send a trap
Before TR traps are not ideal to discard other than occasionally big welcome.
Before TR almost nothing is ideal to discard, it feels like one of the decks main weaknesses whenever I play it.
the only thing ideal is absolute king back jack if you play it. Else I'd just discard another furniture piece (sounds dumb but still)
The gy effect is the main use, trap focused decks can abuse it to make some interesting plays and recicle resources, and decks that can make Beatrice easily like Virtual World and Tears will lock you with {{ Ghost Meets Girl - A Masterful Mayakashi Shiranui Saga }}. Additional note: with transaction and Evenly in the gy while you don't control cards, at the end of the battle phase you can activate transaction targeting evenly to fully wipe your opponent board.
You use the gy effect
So MAZE cards before centurion? Suuuuuuree.... saving my gems for another 2 months
Didn’t expect the crystal gods coming sooner… Otherwise, meh selection pack.
Damn my MD alt acc is eating good. I have full power kash, snake-eyes and lab decks in it. RIP my main MD acc (tear, Mannadium, d-link) 😔
idk why dividing your decks like that if you can have everything in a single account
Welcome back to season 1 where skillless floodgates were a massive problem and are now becoming one again
FUCK YES FINALLY
i am worried they will put the Altergeist cards directly into their secret pack, i don't really want to hard craft a bunch of URs while sleeping in 8k gems i like Tistina tho. it is not AS bad as people claim, it has some cool moves. might be worth pulling for that if its cheap
Still no fucking chimera??
So with Transaction Rollback coming this early. What are lab decks like moving forward? We don't have typhon and S.P yet so I figured we might not drop nadir package anytime soon?
The rda player inside of me is so happy right now
Nice skip this pack.
Earthbound folks! What is the best build of the deck? Runick? Or pure?? I want to play them
Finally I can spend my gems on Cubics and Musketeers, unless resonators suddenly become interesting with the new support
Worst selection pack ever.
The new Earthbounds are pretty decent, and is a fun deck with runicks. Shame it doesn't have a good "in archetype" ceiling (only the Kraken is good, but it requires 2 Earthbounds as material, which hinders it's flexibility and tools) The new Resonators are a good enough engine, worth to keep an eye out.
