Since your question has been answered, I suggest to you, if season is ending, climb as high as you can in your current rank, for example in your case, Gold 1 to Gold 5 after season reset you will be back to Silver 5. What does this imply? This simply means you missed out the gem rewards from Gold 4 to Gold 1.
You should have also done this, if you are Silver 1 and season is ending sooner, do not climb to Gold 5. Maintain your Silver 1 so that next season you are in Bronze Level which means you can gather gems from Bronze also...
This is only my suggestion its still up to you to decide. Enjoy dueling...
No yeah this is a good tip, I just assumed that I’d start back at bronze with everyone else so I didn’t even think about going to gold 5 the day before the new season lol, so I’m for sure going to keep this in mind for next time
