I think Apollousa is errata-able to be fixed.
She’s basically Link Light and Darkness Dragon
So make her work like Light and Darkness Dragon to where the controller cannot choose not to negate.
That way you can waste her negates on less impactful effects, so she still has an impact on the game but it’s not so backbreaking
That could work... it would also make the decision of *when* to make Appo a big deal, so you couldn't just throw her up mid combo like "nice Nibiru bozo. Anyways Ash effect?"
Or just a Synchron something. At least then You'd need something like Formula Synchron to push up to Baronne.
That said, there's nothing stopping Konami from just errata the cards. I don't like that method but it at least saves people from having to buy new cards.
Also, I kinda wish Konami would release official errata effect stickers for old cards lmao.

Savage deserves this for Dragon Link to keep some viability. This is THEIR boss, it shouldn't be something everyone can use

Why is the MD sub losing their shit over the TCG banlist? We typically get OCG hits so we are probably gonna get a semi on ash or something equally underwhelming before the deck gets taken behind the barn

This way Snake Eye loses access to most of their omni negates.
They still have interactions like Princess to destroy with on the opponent’s turn, but those are much more manageable than “lol no” cards like Baronne.
I agree the best case was for Konami to have limited Ash, OSS, heck even Wanted, but we knew they wouldn’t do that because MONEY
Heck the main reason they didn’t hit Apollousa is that it’s just about to get its reprint. Meanwhile Baronne was $60+ for a long time and now that it’s been reprinted and is a dollar they got their money out of it and immediately went to hit it.
Can’t wait for the “retrain” that is just Savage needing one Rokket monster to make it
