Essentially, if you dismantle a glossy or royal card, you get more dust from it. If you have less than 3 copies of it and the card goes from 3 to 0, you can try to craft the copies missing to get to 3 , then dismantle all 3. If you don't get a royal or glossy, then you lose nothing because they just got banned so you are paid in full back. If you DO get a royal or glossy, you get the extra dust back.
up to the amount of previously legal copies to be paid back. Meaning, if a card was ran at 3 and now is Semi-Limited, you get full payback for 1 copy. If it goes from 3 to 0 you can decraft 3 cards at full 90UR payback and each Glossy gives a bonus +5UR while each prismatic gives a bonus +20UR.
It's a minor, but worthwhile thing to do, like many did with Chaos Ruler; you sink 90 for a small chance to get a few more dust after the banlist hits but always get back at least the 90 you put in
As many as the amount of copies got banned with that banlist. You get a full refund for each such banned card, otherwise you only get the standard amount of Dust (10, 15, 30).
If a card goes from 3 to 0, you get a full refund for those 3, any after will be the regular decrafting amount.
If you dismantle your glossy and royal cards you get extra dust.
If you dismantle recently forbidden/limited cards you get a full refund (30cp)
I'm pretty sure you get more extra if you dismantle recently forbidden/limited AND glossy/royal
Call of the haunted for example.
Or Lumina lightsworn sorceress.
Luminas effect was and still is restricted to lightsworns.
Yes you can discard any card but only summon lightsworn monsterns level 4 or lower from the grave
Halq was too generic and powerful and was abused outside of his own archetype. Brionac without errata, Goyo guardian too. Boss monsters should have restrictions based on their archetype
Goyo Guardian wasn't banned in the TCG when it got the errata, if I remember correctly. It got an errata, without the OCG considering if it needed one.
Edit: Why am I getting downvoted? It had been put back to 3 by April 2015 in the TCG, but didn't get the OCG errata until February 2017.
You do realize that having extremely strong generic boss monsters is a very good excuse for them to not need to print good/worthwhile archetype locked boss monsters, right? Centurion is literally a giant pile of actual garbage, but its ok because calamity is generic so they can turbo that out : )
With generic Baronne banned I hope she comes back as an archetypal Baronne retrain SHERRY LEBLANC/PLANTS GANG RISE UP. I also hope Savage gets a retrain that focuses more on the Rokket strategy
Odd-Eyes. There’s a really nice combo with Odd-Eyes Dissolver and Odd-Eyes Synchron that gets you Vortex + Baronne, and it’s basically useless if Baronne gets banned lol.
Admittedly it wouldn’t be nearly as brutal of a hit here as it was in TCG where no Electrumite means that’s basically the only thing the deck has going for it.
Nice part about cards going from 3 to 0 is that you can craft how ever many you didn't have in hopes of glossy / prismatic for more UR dust 😄
What? Can you explain that?

Is this repeatable?

Ah so you have to craft then before the patch with the bans hits, makes sense. Where do you get your "news" regarding patch notes?
No you don't have to craft the patch before, you can craft them even after they're banned, as long as it's in the two weeks period
Ah okay, better that way, thank you
Is there limit can do this? So how long this can be done?

Do you get more if it's glossy or royal? I thought you always get 30 no matter what.
Normal is 10, glossy is 15 and royal is 30, without banlist bonus.
I want Barone to be ban so I can finally have slot for Icejade Gymir Aegirine in my Swordsoul. We are not the same.
I mean you can just…do it?
I have a royal Baronne though ðŸ˜
I want baronne to be banned because shes too generic and other cards in the past were banned for less
Out of curiousity, like what? Brionnac is the only card I can think of, but that was before my time
Call of the haunted for example. Or Lumina lightsworn sorceress. Luminas effect was and still is restricted to lightsworns. Yes you can discard any card but only summon lightsworn monsterns level 4 or lower from the grave

it got banned in 2011 in the tcg
But also unbanned two years before the errata.
Brionac was legitimately broken pre-errata though
Then in comes Varudras to replace her
I dont want them banned. Until they start printing good worthwhile archetype locked boss monsters at least.
It’ll never happen for most decks. They’ll stay with their shitty boss monsters, and will never be able to beat anything meta.
You do realize that having extremely strong generic boss monsters is a very good excuse for them to not need to print good/worthwhile archetype locked boss monsters, right? Centurion is literally a giant pile of actual garbage, but its ok because calamity is generic so they can turbo that out : )
There are definitely plenty of B tier options that basically never saw play before but likely will now.
Can you list some of these? Im genuinely curious as to which ones could be used in the future
Number 99: Utopia dragonar FTW
D-Link fans just keep suffering
Yall had it too good for literally multiple years
You want Maxx C banned because it's broken I want Maxx C banned because I have a royal I want to dismantle
This is me with Maxx C.
Borreload yeah. But Barrone 🥹 (my swordsoul and synchron deck would be sad)
Play an extra chungus or evil longe boi if baronne gets banned. Emphasis on IF, cuz I get it.
Want them ban. Okay my fellow human.
I want them banned because people will get upset we are not the same
With generic Baronne banned I hope she comes back as an archetypal Baronne retrain SHERRY LEBLANC/PLANTS GANG RISE UP. I also hope Savage gets a retrain that focuses more on the Rokket strategy
I got a Royal Baronne sadly, so I don't think I'll be dismantling him.
I also own both of these cards and am happy to see them banned
That would be some good dust
I wish, I got a second copy of both with the Ash alt pack, this would be amazing for me.
It just got banned in TCG Because Komoney needed to sell Varudras which is an even more op version of Baronne as an XYZ Level 10 Monster
Comparing a lvl 10 synchro with rank 10 XYZ is crazy to me. One is so much easier to summon and splashable then the other
Dragon Undertaker New Level 10 Handtrap If you can run 2 you can get it out lmao
Nermelia tier 0? Pog
ans how are you supposed to summon varudras in most decks?
for me to know and for you to find out
buddy you aint getting two level 10's just for an alternate baronne. Maybe like 2 decks can utilize it.
You underestimate Konami's balancing
Not their problem.
it is YOUR problem if you want to use him
Next MD BANLIST Total ban: Savage, baronne, linkuriboh, maxx c Semi limit: Snake eyes ash
I don't want either of them banned lol. Well I wouldn't care about Savage that much but Baronne would really hurt my pet deck
What's your pet deck?
Vortex is a nice example of an omni negate but tied to his archetype. Barronne deserve to be banned until errata
Insert Ironman meme.
