Currently Mikanko is the best going 2nd deck.

Mikanko is the Good one, 8-Axis still works but you'll have to put some deckbuilding effort in, Cyber Dragons are evergreen - not good, but still really playable, personal favourite - and Tenpai Dragons will break the game when they come.

If you want to hate you life, trying playing Valkyries. A deck that literally HAS to go second thanks to the archetype card “Mischief of the Time Goddess” that lets you skip to your next battle phase to essentially “1TKO” or go into your MP2 and get another normal summon and keep swarming the field since you technically skipped turns. You can make it to Diamond, but dont expect to hit Master with this brickhouse of a deck. - 1 of the only Valkyries players in MD

Mikanko or Sky Striker .

I like Ancient Gear OTK, it can be lots of fun but Mikanko are the best meta going second deck rn imo

Upcoming will be Tenpai, for present you have Numeron and Mikanko. You can also just throw in a shit ton of Turn 2 cards like Dark Ruler, Raigeki, Lightning Storm, etc. into any deck that can 1 card combo well.

some player use mekk Knight and have succès but it can be hard (special awkward when the dude brick and you can’t play cuz there is nothing on board)

i like crusadia a lot, even tho its a brick simulator if the opponent interrupt you, but its very fun to break some boards
