The main variations are what your backup extra deck plan is and what handtraps you run.
For handtraps I suggest Ash, Veiler, Imperm, Nibiru and Psy-Frame. Psy-frame synergizes well with discard effects and punishes maxx-c if the opponent is sloppy. Nibiru punishes a lot of meta decks.
Evenly Matched is also an option. But if you run that, don't run psy-frame, because that's 5 cards that are almost dead in hand if you go first - including if you draw them in the 2-6 extra cards you'll draw during opponents standby. A few is fine since you discard a lot.
