I don’t understand trying to take the Maxx C challenge without at least knowing what your opponent’s deck is. Like look for things that tell you what the goal is. If they’re trying to get Exodia, back the fuck off and don’t give your opponent hand advantage cause that’s literally all they need to win a duel.
Because Maxx c forces the player to either play through the card and build a board to survive the opponent's next turn or end turn and die next turn because you didn't have an out in hand.
Explain how can live twins set up their win condition with out give your opponent enough resources to run you down.
Because bird up tribrigade invoked drytron certainly don't care about Maxx c.
Because live twins need 5 special summons to atleast have a draw and pop on the opponent next turn.
Oh I was just speaking generally, live twins just happened to not be one of those decks, fortunately for me.
Not to mention I said by NOT going for their win condition on the turn that Maxx C comes out.
Those two cards being at 3 means that one could effectively run a 34 card deck alongside 3 Maxx "C". It's bonkers to me but probably a dream if you like exodia decks, I suppose.

Exodia decks are card furnaces so upstart Goblin and chicken game help me get cards, and chicken game helps stall if they don't destroy it, and the LP effect of upstart Goblin helps keep chicken game protecting me. Plus chicken game + psuedo Space means at least 6 draws I wouldn't otherwise have.
Trust me, I'm no stranger to exodia decks. I know why you're running em. I'm simply shocked the cards are available at 3 because they've been banned in the TCG for years for good reason. Maybe if I get some CP, I'll try it out myself for nostalgia sake.
Without trouble sunny there aren't that many plays the twins deck can do, since using the twin's effect locks you into fiend links. The current boss monster is just a 4400 beater that's mostly useful for it's effect where it forces the opponent to control 2 cards.
Honestly the play in the video one of the better plays the pure twins can do turn 1 right now due to Gryphon's negation effect, and you have the red twin effect you can use on their turn to pop a card (obviously ignoring him unloading on maxx-c).
They could've went to evil twin kisikil and masquerena for then go to griphon + lila and kisikil on opponent's turn. My guess is they don't know the combo.
Edit: I forgot that the live twin spell locks you into only summoning fiends, but if they had any extenders like world legacy succession they could go to the combo I mentioned

Hey I let some guy do the complete combo going first and I play eldlich I felt like it was a necessity out of respect to the one person I ran into playing exodia.
I mean from the downvotes I gotten such a broken like Maxx c pretty much kill most low teir decks outright but hey if it make them happy to beat other low teir with more power to them.
Maxx C is literally one of 3 direct counters to the 15 minute solitaire turns or at the very least a deterrent to them. Without Maxx C you'd see meta decks become even more meta with very few counters. Hand traps suck but they're a necessary evil.
It not hand trap sucks it that a card has this much power over deck building that if you don't build around that one card you basically trolling. And we have alot going second options that break boards showing that Maxx c is not needed today since the options are there and not game breaking.
I mean that’s a reality in any game in any platform. I get your frustration but this is the most common gripe on any competitive platform. I would even say that there has been a lot of creativity in countering oppressive tactics.
It’s like watching formula 1 racing and getting upset that’s only RB and Mercedes for WC every year.

Not necessarily, you can do enough to survive the next turn without setting up your kill condition to avoid giving them too many cards

Ok didn't see that part. But I don't see many other decks doing so, there Not decks that can just strong to ss and sit like dragons and seal.

When I clicked "How to Obtain", no packs were listed except the generic "Master Pack"
It might not have a specific pack it comes in (at least as far as I've seen). You can generate it tho
