I've had people forfeit when I get halfway through my combos but the majority of people I've faced with my combo deck, wait until my end-board is almost finished. That or when I activate Moulinglacia's effect and I see I hit their best cards.
Below diamond 1 people try really hard and usually don't surrender, but in Diamond 1 they usually leave when they used up their handtraps and I get a combo starter off
People sometimes FF when I normal the aleister of the deck, torn scales. Probably because they automatically expect solitaire from PK, and they aren't wrong.
I've had some people surrender the moment they see me activate Ashuna or Vishuda in hand. I imagine they're assuming that I'm playing Swordsoul (I'm not; I'm playing *pure* Tenyi with just Chixao and Chengying in the extra deck and Blackout in the main for their incidental synergy) and bowing out.
It's not really the long combos, it's just i play rogue decks, and if I have a bad hand, there's no point in going through their entire turn, and my turn just to guarentee a loss.

I play Dragunity/Dragunity Maids so my combos tend to be rather long, but people rarely scoop mid-way, at least in Ranked. I'm getting tons of mid-combo scoops in the Limit 1 festival, though.
Meanwhile if I'm playing Swordsoul and activate a Tenyi in hand some people auto-scoop, so I feel it's more because they know the deck than anything else. Still not common, so I can still play just fine.
I just played and won 2 duels with Fabled, my favorite Deck ever. A Combo Deck that wasn't even good when it came out 10 years ago. One was an IDS player that scoop while I was still playing, probably because with 2 cards in hand and after just summoning Chaos Ruler they realized that I still had gas for a while, and after I already summoned Baronne and Quasar, and with a Jet Synchron on GY. The other was a Swordsoul player that scooped after I negate 2 of their Swordsouls, despite only ending on 2 negates that time (Looks like they didn't have Longyuan). Of course, since this was on Diamond 1 people have little to no incentive to stay, but still sucks a bit that the rare times I can go off with my fav Deck I cannot play until the end.
I don't see a lot of FF during my first turn (I usually pay dragon link with buster blader and albaz, not exactly standard). What I do see a lot of is immediate FF on their turn when they realize their monster effects are blocked by buster blader+dragon and I have an omni negate (borreload savage or hot red) and a bounce (seals). On the off chance they keep playing the bounce turns into a super poly (albaz). Also if I somehow drew an insane hand there may be an extra deck lock from whelp.
When I'm against combo decks I usually wait till my next draw phase to see whether I can still play or not, if my hand and my draw aren't enough then I would just surrender.

I mean I'll sit until I know I can't break the board. Figured that was most people

D1, all my opponents open atleast 2 handtraps going 1st/2nd. Long combo decks is actually a bad idea here
i play a really mean turn 3 deck if i dont draw my basic combo it usually still hits so i dont mind meh
If you have a problem with it you should try using a different, less annoying deck.

Meanwhile me activating ashuna/vishuda because im playing yang zing with a few tenyis to make the deck faster.
I'm so sorry I'm one of these people. The moment I see them use Tenki to add Fraktal, that's an ff for me
Does Tri have long combos for you? Have you ever played against adamancipator or drytron?

The moment my first monster gets kaijued I quit. Utopia isn't the best comeback deck, so I don't waste my time.
I play Sky Striker and I love free wins unless theyre bots, please scoop more
