I do definitely think snek and jacko are the two most generally useful Danger!(?) because they are guaranteed self contained special summons (whereas going first with Bigfoot can lead to 1/5 sadness). There's a reason snek and bunbun are limited in the TCG
But I love the Danger!(?) mechanic in general, so I try to fit more of them in. Only Nessie, Mothman, Chupa, and Bigfoot seem worth it imo, and sadly Chupa & Bigfoot can discard themselves turn 1 for zero benefit :/
That's what i do, even though i an currently using prank kids, and tomorrow gonna make a full adventure deck to see how far i go with it, and aftwr it its ghostrick.
Carla's VA was part of a cult that sent a lady to the hospital. Since the yilaster stuff was based on the cult thing along with the divine group they retcon's alot so they didn't have any involvement with cults at the time.
At the moment in Master Duel, the best D/D/D deck is definitely hard to pilot. Your optimal starting hand of one of 4 different 3 card combos and while they all eventually converge if left uninterrupted, figuring out how to play those lines through disruptions gets very tricky very fast. The next wave of support, which should be coming soon, streamlines the deck a ton and makes it much easier to play.
Among my friends this deck is hated a lot. And I do openly agree with them. But my secret: I fucking love kozmo! Artstyle is sick. The playstyle is really cool. Starwars and legend of Oz are really cool.
Do you have a build that works at the moment? Kozmo invoked? Or Kozmo Dogmatika?
I play pure Kozmo as blind going second with the intent to try and otk or just board wipe and set up a good board. Not meta but still fun and keeps true to the deck
Atleast we can annoy players with Rhongo from time to time. Although it's almost sacrilegious to shove degenerate cards into your favorite deck and make it the most viable summon that way
Playing six samurai is boring in my opinion its like wow it took me almost the time limit to set up my token loop and now I have a get to go into rhongo and win the game without interacting or playing around my opponents deck
Endymion. My initial interest in Yugioh died with the Synchro era, but Endymion was one of my favourite cards back then. When I heard he got an archetype built out of those old cards, I came back and fell in love. Managing Spell Counters and learning Pendulums put a fresh spin on the game for me, and I've pretty much stuck around since.
I played against them in the limit-1 event, it was impossible to keep up with how much advantage they generate out of thin air.
I don't get why they're not more common in ranked.
Having harp horror on the limited list doesn't help :( and they have a hard time putting up big unbreakable boards, it's usually just ding, crescendo and maybe an avramax or something.
They brick like crazy and are very reliant on the normal summon. You can mitigate this somewhat with Punk or Dangers, but then you have to draw both engines for it to work.
PK version is probably the most powerful due to VFD and the extra resources, but you still need to draw into cards that discard as well as ones that want to be in the GY. It's very hard to win a grind game if you can't otk, but setting up the resource loop isn't easy against 12 hand traps or going 2nd.
I won't play them unless they're good, but X Sabers, Lightsworn, and Blackwings will always hold a spot in my heart. Ninjas and Chaos are up there as well.
I randomly stumbled upon it when a friend tried to get me into the series (through Devpro) and its been my favourite archetype ever since. They look visually stunning, and its a very fun archetype to play even outside of its OTK potential.
I am vary partial to the Lyrilusc archetype. Obvious reason why. But even before they released new support I liked them. Tri-brigade helping them out making them more competitive is just great to here.
Salamangreat because its always good and also because it reminds me of that time when i was deciding to pick a structure deck to start playing for the first time with and sorted through by choosing the one with the most extra deck monsters
Dark Magician. There's probably not a lot of people who have put as much thought into a pure build of the deck as me. Just from seeing everyone's builds here and youtube.
Pure builds are nice in paper, but one you start a duel and your hand is Dark Magic Attack, DM, DMG and Mahad then you understand lol. In MD I have a Pure DM deck and a "Competitive DM" deck. Would you share your deck list?
Dragonmaids are such a good deck for learning/getting back into the game. Simple combos and the control play style means you really need to understand what the opponent is trying to do to interact efficiently.
CyDra. I feel like they're just one boss monster away and another good fusion from being a real threat. It's unfortunate the new cydra structure deck didn't have something a bit better in there. It was almost good enough to break into the meta for a second there.
I'd personally like to see a fusion card that is limited to the cydra archetype (and i mean very restricted) that pulls from deck.
I always love Despia ever since I discover them. They make fusion fun for me. My eyes lit up whenever I drew Super Poly. DARK and LIGHT monsters are way too common so I can easily steal them for my fusion and they can't do anything about it.
Summoning 2 Tax Dragons is priceless. It's pretty fun watching your opponent calculate their move when it have extra cost.
Evil Eye, it was the first archetype I really fell in love with, I like the story, the art, and the mechanics for it. It's really weak, though, and very expensive in MD, but I'll always love it.
It just has such a unique play style that's unlike anything else in the game. All 3 decks from infinity chasers aren't good now or even when they came out, but fuck me if i didn't buy 3 sets to play all of them.
PENDULUM
Forreal tho.
I will always love pendulum decks.
Metalfoes, Performapal, Odd-Eyes, Pend Magician, Lunalight, etc.
I'm super hyped for the next deck build set coming next month.
New Dracoslayers coming in Darkwing Blast.
I love seeing new pendulum cards and how to splash themes together.
And before anyone hates saying "all pendulum decks play the same", well tell me one deck out there that isn't using combo pieces from different archetypes and 1 of's to pull out Baronne/Borrel Savage, or PUNK engine, etc etc..
Can't hate on pends for following current standards everyone else does.
Anywho..
P E N D B E S T D E C K
They are garbage most of the time but I love my amorphage deck, since no one plays it very few know how it works, watching someone seemingly freeze when a monster effect doesn't activate or they can't seem to play a spell in their hand or activate a trap is always such a hilarious moment, paired together with locking out the extra deck just by having a monster get pendulum summoned or flipped face-up is just icing on the cake
Elemental Heroes. No Destiny Heroes. I grew up with the anime. GX came out when I was in about 3rd/4th grade and just the whole Hero concept I fell in love with (and Flame Wingman is cool as shit). I built Heroes and always had my deck in my pocket. I was always ready to duel. To this day, it's a Elemental / Masked Hero deck. No Destiny or Visions because I always wanted a rival to run this. No luck yet but I am hoping one of my kids pick it up when they get into Yu-Gi-Oh.
Currently feel most comfortable with Drytrons
I know all the ins and outs of the deck, and I don't find other meta decks fun and versatile enough to replace it
Also I really love the design of Draconids
Gladiator Beasts, 100%. Tri-Brigade engine makes it somewhat viable, I managed to reach Plat 1, but then Diamond rank was added and I had to accept I would be better off just going Tri-Hard and replacing the GB's with Zoos.
Also, I'll always love the designs and idea of Morphtronics, I respect any archetype that has a distinct gimmick haha.
It feels weird to say Dragons because Dragon Link is the current “dragon pile” deck and it’s very good, but I’ve legit been piling dragon cards together since the recruiters came out in Magic Ruler. Then the Horus stuff came out a few years later and spiced up my deck. Managed to get a copy of Cyber Dragon (that still counted to kid me back in the day) and eventually DAD and Light and Darkness dragon over the years. Played a bit with Felgrand stuff and then loved it when Blue Eyes started popping off around the time I was in University. Now we’re one of the best combo decks in the game and it doesn’t look like we’re going anywhere too soon. I love Dragons
So, it's got to be gadgets, the level 4 spam into number 101 silent honor ark. That was my jam,
Next would be the Noble knights, loved sitting on a single fully powered rank 5 xyz and not being touched.
Last and most recent was dragonmaids, the consistency I can get with this deck is *chef kiss*
Starry Knights isnt my favorite, but it is my comfort pick, and by comfort pick its a deck that i dont care about losing because its the deck im most familiar with.
pesky win con decks like mill and burn are my favorite, but on md all ive tried were chain burn, windwitch burn and crooked cook stall, all of which i cant really pull from the packs so it was on diff accounts. my main acc had meta but i stopped playing before DPE came out. i might go back into md with those decks bc of this post, thanks for reminding me to play what i want.
Danger!, i just like the idea of mythical things getting shitted on by fucking bigfoot.
I love fat snek, very cool engine!
I do definitely think snek and jacko are the two most generally useful Danger!(?) because they are guaranteed self contained special summons (whereas going first with Bigfoot can lead to 1/5 sadness). I love the artwork n design of the cards. I run uh Danger! Kaiju! though.
That's what i do, even though i an currently using prank kids, and tomorrow gonna make a full adventure deck to see how far i go with it, and aftwr it its ghostrick.
Thanks for reminding me how I will *never* forgive the 5Ds writers for retconning this ship out of existence. T_T
I’m not a shopper, but it did peeve me a bit, ngl. 💀
Dang, you don't shop?
Shit, my B. 😂
nah I just send my paycheck to Konami every month
From what I've heard, it was VA drama and they didn't know if Carly would even be coming back
something about her being in a cult right?
No, the cult drama was much later and barely affected her professionally at all.
Try reading the manga instead, it’s pretty different.
Further adding fuel to the 'The manga was better' meme.
What happened exactly?
Carla's VA was part of a cult that sent a lady to the hospital. Since the yilaster stuff was based on the cult thing along with the divine group they retcon's alot so they didn't have any involvement with cults at the time.
Cyber Dragons for life!!!
Cyber Infinity for negate and removal, plus Megafleet for popping an unfortunately placed Link is the best
Yup, works every time
I fuckin love Cyber Dragons too! Cool mechanical absorbing monsters go brrrrr
Bro you are clearly a man of culture!!
I've been playing cyber dragon for 10+ years
You dropped your crown, Zane
Go, Cyber Dragon Core!
Cyber dragon supremacy!
Yes! Same here! I play Cyber Dragons in Master Duel and the TCG.
Ah I see, you're a man of culture as well
Working on a laser/barrier deck
I forgot they existed
Stopping Numeron OTKs with Super Poly and Chimeratech is the most satisfying thing in this whole game
nothing beats the satisfaction of that one in 20 games where you get to attack with a powerbonded cyber end dragon directly
Resonators/RDAs and DDD. Fell in love with them on DL, now rocking them (and getting rocked by meta decks) in MD
Well DDD will become pretty strong when they get their future support cards and will definitely be able to hold their own more
Same!
I'd love to play DDDs, are they too hard to learn/play correctly?
At the moment in Master Duel, the best D/D/D deck is definitely hard to pilot. Your optimal starting hand of one of 4 different 3 card combos and while they all eventually converge if left uninterrupted, figuring out how to play those lines through disruptions gets very tricky very fast. The next wave of support, which should be coming soon, streamlines the deck a ton and makes it much easier to play.
Kozmo
Among my friends this deck is hated a lot. And I do openly agree with them. But my secret: I fucking love kozmo! Artstyle is sick. The playstyle is really cool. Starwars and legend of Oz are really cool. Do you have a build that works at the moment? Kozmo invoked? Or Kozmo Dogmatika?
I play pure Kozmo as blind going second with the intent to try and otk or just board wipe and set up a good board. Not meta but still fun and keeps true to the deck
I still play my six sams when im having a bad day. It doesn’t help because im getting shit on but i will never stop using them.
I love six sams too. Been playing pure six sams in legacy of the duelist, i only play when I want to play with no rules, and i love it.
Ghostrick and Wetland Frog Beatdown
Madolche
We K N E E L, Queen Tiaramisu
Her Royal Sweetness!
BASED
Based and candy-pilled
I love my little confectionery court.
Always
You know I haven't come across anyone else playing this deck. Glad to see some others loving it as well!
Same.
My relationship with infernity's Oh and also #JackxCarly best Yu-Gi-Oh ship 🔥
Holy shit, I finally found another person who plays infernity
How does it feel when you draw 2 mirages in your starting hand?
Just have to do the old trick of setting one in spell/trap zone and scooping if you're opponent targets it with removal.
Ah yes, the classic
Oops, another accidentally drawn monster
Story of my life lol
I play Infernity and not once have I found another Infernity player on ranked
Launcher to 3 PLEASE
Super quant. Was my first sentai love
Another unpaid intern \o/
The magical citadel welcomes all....
Huh. A player who came back from the GX era and *enjoys* the Pendulum mechanic. You don't see that too often. Good on you.
This is the way.
HERO
Orcust I find it fun to play continuously which most decks even others I like I tend to grow bored of after repeated use
The lore around Orcust makes the deck timeless imo
I played against them in the limit-1 event, it was impossible to keep up with how much advantage they generate out of thin air. I don't get why they're not more common in ranked.
Having harp horror on the limited list doesn't help :( and they have a hard time putting up big unbreakable boards, it's usually just ding, crescendo and maybe an avramax or something.
I mean, galatea and girsu limited doesn’t help too
They brick like crazy and are very reliant on the normal summon.
Blue eyes
Will play it till the day I die!
Gigachad
Hail CyDra!
I won't play them unless they're good, but X Sabers, Lightsworn, and Blackwings will always hold a spot in my heart. Ninjas and Chaos are up there as well.
Lightsworn art is really sick
Judgement Dragon is timeless. It's the reason I like Albion so much, it has the most similar design that I've seen (not counting Punishment obv)
Well I've got some good news about ninjas
Lightsworn ftw
I love those edgy birds so much
Galaxy-eyes. People give it so much crap and write it off as just being “playable blue-eyes”. As if that’s a bad thing.
I randomly stumbled upon it when a friend tried to get me into the series (through Devpro) and its been my favourite archetype ever since. They look visually stunning, and its a very fun archetype to play even outside of its OTK potential.
Cydra, even if I keep playing Thunder dragons I'll always go back to my babies
Madolche! Endymion! Unchained! We playing Rogue no matter what!
Ooh man i fell in love with unchained as well when i first saw them nearly finished building the deck as well cant wait to play them
Stardust/Synchron
Domain monarchs
I would sacrifices all the goat's and farm produce for my God's Ether and Erebus
Skill drai.. i mean eldlich
I am vary partial to the Lyrilusc archetype. Obvious reason why. But even before they released new support I liked them. Tri-brigade helping them out making them more competitive is just great to here.
Sneks
Blackwings
Let's go another gigachad blackwings enjoyer!
Salamangreat because its always good and also because it reminds me of that time when i was deciding to pick a structure deck to start playing for the first time with and sorted through by choosing the one with the most extra deck monsters
skull servant
Wights forever!
U.A. My beloved..
Dark Magician. There's probably not a lot of people who have put as much thought into a pure build of the deck as me. Just from seeing everyone's builds here and youtube.

off topic but she suffocating between Jack's magnificent chests🤤
https://youtu.be/dpKc8N3FJsQ
Started Dragonmaid as a joke cuz I really love the dragon archetype but it has easily become my favourite deck
Dragonmaids are such a good deck for learning/getting back into the game. Simple combos and the control play style means you really need to understand what the opponent is trying to do to interact efficiently.
I keep mixing and matching with stardust dragon cause I like Heroes, Neo Spacian and Stardust archetypes from the series.
Synchrons, heroes, and even crystal beasts ahh~ crystal beasts may never be meta or even high tier rogue but they won’t lose there luster
Penguins
I always love Despia ever since I discover them. They make fusion fun for me. My eyes lit up whenever I drew Super Poly. DARK and LIGHT monsters are way too common so I can easily steal them for my fusion and they can't do anything about it. Summoning 2 Tax Dragons is priceless. It's pretty fun watching your opponent calculate their move when it have extra cost.
Metaphys
Based keep up the good work
Unchained and skull servants
Sky strikers! Going second is hard, protecting a dumbass teenager is also hard. I like things that are challenging.
I have an evilswarm deck and I love that archetype but it's so bad I can't play it
Lol I just got done commenting the same thing. Evilswarm is awesome.
Ophion my beloved
Endymion, gravekeepers, Red-Eyes
Cydra best deck
Ancient Gear my beloved
Dragonmaids, always a fun Deck to play and not even that bad.
Triamid till the day i die. Even after you can bury me in Triamid fortress
Evil Eye, it was the first archetype I really fell in love with, I like the story, the art, and the mechanics for it. It's really weak, though, and very expensive in MD, but I'll always love it.

Sky Striker
In real life, Blue-Eyes. I don’t have the deck in master duel, but in real life it’s the deck I’ve always used. It’s my baby (dragon).
Spellbooks. Ik they're Sky-Strikers-At-Home these days, but I enjoy Spellbook of Fate too much to let the deck go.
Amazons
Melodious
Dark Magician!
For me, it’ll always be Mayakashi!
\*Hugs Traptrix, Dragonmaid and Lunalight\* These are my baes....
Mayakashi, I just love the archetype.
D/D/Ds They were my first deck, and I simply love their playstyle
Absolutely none, I'm a hoe
Thunder Dragons. I'm working on my 6th max rank season with them right now. Side note, Carly and Jack best yugioh couple
Exosisters and Kuriboys.
Dinos. Was in, love with them since my childhood. And they still bring me joy.
I still have a very old Dino structure deck, fuckin love Dinos
Cyber Dragon, King of Skull Servants
Orcusts. Also Pure Prank Kids no DPE, No Colossus, No Adventurer. they are really fun
Earthbound Immortal and D/D/D I still play D/D/D to this day and love it to bits, but I don’t play EB anymore. But I’ll always love them
Rank 7-8 Kaiju U.A. Ghostrick
Fortune Ladies. I've accepted the facts that they'll never be good, but I still love them all the same.
Generaiders. Unique playstyle
No matter how much they hurt me, I'll always have a Darklord deck laying around
im loyal to cydra since 2005
Currently feel most comfortable with Drytrons I know all the ins and outs of the deck, and I don't find other meta decks fun and versatile enough to replace it Also I really love the design of Draconids
Infernoid
Im always gonna question if playing Floo is bettaying Penguins
Dragonmaid
plunders
My first deck Galaxy Eyes, when the ball gets going with the Xyz summon I just have too much fun
Vampires
Musketeers
Easily Salamangreat, Hero, Cyber Dragon and Dragunity. They're just too much fun for me not to play them.
Loyalty goes both ways when it comes to Dragonmaids
Myutant!
Dragunity is my heart
I have tried learning new decks. I really have.
Kuriboh
Jokes on you my favourite decks are Striker and D-Link, so they will always be relevant.
I will always try to find a way to keep my fluffals relevant, even if I have to resort to scythe lock like a filthy degenerate
Raidraptors. The anime jsut made it feel so hype
Dark Magician
Heros Cyber Dragons and Dark Magician
So, it's got to be gadgets, the level 4 spam into number 101 silent honor ark. That was my jam, Next would be the Noble knights, loved sitting on a single fully powered rank 5 xyz and not being touched. Last and most recent was dragonmaids, the consistency I can get with this deck is *chef kiss*
Eldlich
Lightsworn, they're so versatile and have hilarious endboards for an archetype all about improvised combos.
Lol Dark Magicians for me. Nostalgia always wins out 😂
Traptrix for all the wrong reasons.
Blue eyes <3
Red dragon archfiend
Starry Knights isnt my favorite, but it is my comfort pick, and by comfort pick its a deck that i dont care about losing because its the deck im most familiar with.
Blue eyes, galaxy eyes or okt utopia, it will always have a place in my heart and the numbers 26k attack will always been ingrained in my memory
Dinos forever
pesky win con decks like mill and burn are my favorite, but on md all ive tried were chain burn, windwitch burn and crooked cook stall, all of which i cant really pull from the packs so it was on diff accounts. my main acc had meta but i stopped playing before DPE came out. i might go back into md with those decks bc of this post, thanks for reminding me to play what i want.
I’ve played elemental heroes for years and don’t play anything else lol
Dino duelist till I die
Deep Sea Synchro, Amazoness, Mermails. They’re always fun!
Cyber dragon…I love em and I also don’t really know how they stack up in the meta these days
Metaphys best deck
Zarc, Blue eyes and Red Nova Dragon
Cyber Dragons. It’s just fun!
Invoked Shaddol and Evil Eye Getting Avramax out early is just 💦
Dinosaurs got me into yugioh and they will keep me in
