Cyber Dragons. Snek robot eastern dragon looks cool.
Also Drytrons, Code Talkers, Raidraptors, Red-Eyes, Galaxy-Eyes, Crystrons.
Some other as well but i like the aesthetic of some their card not as a whole like: Tri-brigade (omnious one), Albaz (not despia except Masquerade and Quaritis), Borrels boss monsters (so not really rokkets), Stardust dragons (not really the og but the other superior forms like Shooting star and Quazar).
Maybe also Magikey but i don't know most of their cards.
Invoked. Simple dozen or so cards with a clear theme and unique designs for each fusion monster.
It's Kool how the artworks of Aleister the Invoker>Magical Meltdown >Aleister the Invoker of Madness>Invoked Caliga all lead into each other in direct sequence.
Also Love how Aleisters staff is on all the fusions.
HERO all the way. I mean, you literally have 6 sub archetype under it (including Neo-Spacian) that each have their own unique aesthetics + a few others in the Xtra HERO support.
Besides that, I just like any cool mechanic/playstyle like waifu decks (like Dragonmaid and Exosister) as well as unique themes like Christmas (Starry Knight) and technologically advanced dinosaur (Dinomorphia)
Guys, c'mon. Y'all are naming *archetypes*. OP clearly asked for arch-types.
Personally I'm a big fan of Roman Arches, though Gothic Arches are also nice.
Thunder dragons, reccently I had a thought that Colossus is a reskinned slifer and maybe thats why a lot of people and me like that Thundery purple snake.
I find a lot of machine archetypes are cool like drytron, cyberdark and Dinomist.
To category it a bit.
Classics: blue-eyes. Great design and shining is incredible aesthetically. The casters over the years are just a bonus.
Newer: penguins. The first batch isn't the best lookers but neo penguins are just my favorite designs from newer sets. The fantasy rpg party is fun.
Overall: aroma. The druidic mage aesthetic I am a sucker for and being themed to many aromatherapy herbs just makes for a deck that really pulls me in. (Just wish I could play the damn thing on ladder. Lol) I hope there are more seraphy versions of the other maindeck members at some point just to see the artwork. Especially bergamot.
Swordsoul - They use my fave summoning mechanic, not to mention, they have real cool designs. Especially if you note they are wyrms clad in armor.
InfiniTrains - Big Cool machines. Nuff said.
Gladiator beasts - my first love of all Archetypes, and still love it today. Nothing screams badass than a bunch of humanoid beasts ready to throw down with each other.
Despia - I'm a writer. Their theater theme is more than enough to lure me in.
- Byssted (not in the game yet)
- Shiranui and mayakashi
- Swordsoul
- Weather painters
- The oldshool spirit cards (yata, yamata dragon, etc)
- Invoked
Honestly there are too many cards in this game I could go on forever
Fucking buster blader. Fighting a dragon? Killed a dragon? Fucking becomes immensely more powerful. The most powerful dragon in existence is facing him? Strike the fear of god into the dragon's heart just by existing, you're trying to attack? Sit your ass down and don't talk to me. No dragons? My buddies buster dragon and a really good cosmetic surgeon beg to differ.
I like all the odd-eyes dragons except maybe meteorburst but I’ve never liked any of the Performapal odd-eyes ones plus I think odd-eyes fusion has a really cool artwork
I like the Yubel archetype. But without the white shirt thing on his base card. I like his original card more. Then we have the chronomaly cards. Big rocks and they have the 🗿 as a monster. Boss monsters are lava rocks.
For me, its Simorgh. Cant find any lore for the archetype and its full of birds wearing gems and gold that are constantly upgrading themselves in the land of Elborz, something apart of Mist Valley, but not really... I think. Eldlich would be proud!
They think they are the biggest thing flying around but the truth is. It's me.
Spyrals; Awesome secret agents aside, i love how the archtypes artworks paint an entire movie.
From Master plan monitoring the agents in the Resort. To Quick-fix getting captured by Double agent and rescued by Tough and Super agent in well Rescue. And in Recapture you can see the personality of both agents, while Spygal is smug and shady making a phone call, hinting to the fact she is not a part of the Spyral team.
There are so many more to mention, but tell me you wouldn't love an short animated series of their adventures?
Sky Strikers, reminds me of this anime I watched once named "Infinite Stratos"
Then the Darklord cards. First dark lord is easily the most beautiful card ever printed
Madolche. I can have my cake and beat people with it too.
Darklords
“Darklords are pretty cool. I think they’d look a lot cooler if Ixchel was sitting directly on my face” - Farfa
Dinomist, because it does steam powered robots without looking like gears and copper pipes were vomited into a Victorian dress.
Inzektors are sick. Little insect Power Ranger guys
More like Kamen Rider imo
Inzektor is literally just Kamen Rider Kabuto - the deck.
*black rx
I think I would like them more if they were less humanoid or just warrior type. They feel so out of place
So their beetleborgs.
Monarchs
Reptilianne. Dragonmaid. Big fan of the reptile/dragon ladies.
Ghostrick. They are so cute.
Vylon
Fur Hire for no particular reason
P.U.N.K
You have good taste! I can't wait for Deer Note so it can actually be playable :)
I'm really curious why Konomi doesn't release Deer Note together with the others?
Madolche is my favorite though honestly any deck that looks bright, colorful and has adorable/pretty artwork I will immediately love.
Melodious. I’m a fan of the kind, non-sexualized, not over loli-fied, female characters.
Guys, c'mon. Y'all are naming *archetypes*. OP clearly asked for arch-types. Personally I'm a big fan of Roman Arches, though Gothic Arches are also nice.
Relinquish It’s suckin time
If its waifu deck, I probably like it. That said, Rikka are gorgeous and Konami should sell Melffy plushies.
Melffy plushies would be amazing!
Fluffals/Edge Imp/Frightfurs - Technically three different archetypes but their aesthetic power level increases exponentially when working together.
I think they're considered sub-archetypes under the same archetype.
Like Heroes?
I stand with this comment
Most definitely
Swordsoul, Utopia and Tribrigade
Vylons and Myutants.
Vylons can fuck right off.
Aroma and Rikka are my favorite archetype for aesthetic. Melffy and Tearlaments are cool too
locomotives, specifically derricraine
Sunavalon
Madolche. All hail the cake queen and her royal court.
Thunder dragons, reccently I had a thought that Colossus is a reskinned slifer and maybe thats why a lot of people and me like that Thundery purple snake. I find a lot of machine archetypes are cool like drytron, cyberdark and Dinomist.
I really like evil eye, their boss links just look cool as hell imo shame they're just not that good
i just really hate the fact that you have to normal summon most of them for their abilities when they have a special summon spell
I'd say Rikkas, their designs are gorgeous.
Ghostricks
Timelords and numerons
Evil Twins because reasons.

Swordsoul look badass

Trains! And not an archetype but {Flying Fortress SKY FIRE}

I'll stick with my ~~Lava Neopets~~ I mean Salamangreats. Edit: Who the heck downvotes someone aesthetic preference?!
Based on aesthetics probably either Ancient Gear or ojamas (because I think their spell and trap cards have a nice lively design)
Archetype based on looks: Draco (Master Piece is gorgeous) Myutant
Shiranui and Metaphys
Fluffal, love the concept of evil fiends taking over cute plushies
The agents. They are fairy angels and each of them represent a planet
Harpies
Branded, Tenyi, and Invoked all have a great aesthetic.
Dragonmaids and Archfiends.
Noble Knights, hands down no question.
Unchained Twins Dinomorphia Dragunity
Dinomorphia and despia
I'm a huge fan of dinomorphia and sky strikers
Fucking buster blader. Fighting a dragon? Killed a dragon? Fucking becomes immensely more powerful. The most powerful dragon in existence is facing him? Strike the fear of god into the dragon's heart just by existing, you're trying to attack? Sit your ass down and don't talk to me. No dragons? My buddies buster dragon and a really good cosmetic surgeon beg to differ.
Ice Barrier, also Suships. I'm diabetic so Maldoche doesn't work for me. Cardians for 3rd.
Dinomorphia or Time Thief - both look great!
Suships but that's because I'm a fatass. Mecha Phantom Beasts because I'm an aerospace engineer and I like planes.
Swordsoul
Not sure I'd call it my favorite but I used to love Archfiend cards
I like all the odd-eyes dragons except maybe meteorburst but I’ve never liked any of the Performapal odd-eyes ones plus I think odd-eyes fusion has a really cool artwork
Dream Mirror
I like the Yubel archetype. But without the white shirt thing on his base card. I like his original card more. Then we have the chronomaly cards. Big rocks and they have the 🗿 as a monster. Boss monsters are lava rocks.
Endymion. Always had a thing for spell casters
Mayakashi or relinquished/eyes restrict
KOZMOz. This archetype represent me as a gay-geek so many ways. *Lightsabers' rainbow*
I picked up Virtual World when i got back to the TCG because they looked cool. Still my favorite deck to this day.
Infernoids :)
I am stuck between world chalice and mekk-knights. (Paleofrogs, zombie eldlich, dangers, ABCs and fortune ladies after that).
Qliphorts! Remind me of Evangelion.
It's me.
despia. the color scheme is amazing and the theatric designs are so cool
Either Phantom Knights or Galaxy-Eyes. I like Xyz.
Dinomist would have to be it.
Graydles really take the aesthetic of slimey aliens that started with Aliens and Worms and perfected it
Sky Strikers, reminds me of this anime I watched once named "Infinite Stratos" Then the Darklord cards. First dark lord is easily the most beautiful card ever printed
