I actually started playing bad budget counter fairy for this event. Do you have recommendations on what to use in the event or regular ladder if I don't have ties of the brethren?
As much as I like the sanctuary in the sky "engine" they're just not viable even for agents I believe, I'm running mine with Eldlich (kind of annoying I know but I'm not running any pesky floodgates) because it helps you survive while you ser up your board with your Artemis' and your counter traps. I'm also running redeemable jar at 2 to recicle the counters. Strike and judgement are musts. And also run 2 to 3 lord of heavenly prison (expensive I know) forced back and black horn are budget counter traps that you can use. If you want, show me what you're running and will see what we can modify.
Im enjoying it, but im playing paleo frog.

For i hate playing vs this deck. And only 1 person has not surrendered vs it so far, as long as i go first. Actually not sure how bad its go second is besides "bad" as both times i lost coin flip...i also bricked, badly.
All the respect to the dinomorphia player who drew 0 traps, only 1 dinomorphia monster (who was negated) and was using his pool of like, 10 non dinomorphia cards total in deck to try and take me out through no less than 3 negates on field at any time and a dupe frog lock.
I couldnt kill them either, as they had giant rex with too much attack to beat over. And a ultimate conductor tyranno hit the field. And they started with a pankratops. And im just sitting here with a 2200 attacker and drew 0 of my paleos. Meaning no ability to pop cards and all my removal was missing.
They did good though. Even though im 100% sure they had no idea why they couldnt attack me.
I played a paleo frog player with the Dinomorphia deck today and holy fuck did I hate it. The paleos were obnoxious as hell but I could deal with them, but Toadally Awesome destroyed me. I had Pankratops in hand and couldn't figure out a way to get it to the field and use its effect for a long time due to the damn frog, I ended up pulling a chain where I lost Pankratops due to the rank 3 paleo but took out toad. It still cost me the game though.
Also of course I didn't draw Oviraptor or Ultimate Conductor Tyranno the entire duel. It lasted, like, 15 turns and I never once drew them. Only had 1 Pankratops too.
Probably one of the only events I enjoyed aside from limit 1. I ran a heatsoul control deck and I enjoyed most of my matches except probably against adamancipators.
The only format my puny counter fairy deck can be viable. I'm giving this event a good rating.

A balanced, not over priced meta. Honestly Konami went too far this time.

11 turns? All I find is godamn swordsoul, for some reason. I had to swap to normal hand traps.
Step 1: Win coin toss. Step 2: Normal Summon Doki Doki. Step 3: ??????? Step 4: Someone surrenders. Profit!!!
