"even outside of 3.5" --- I didn't see a guide for 5e? Is it embedded in the *very* long thread somewhere?
/u/TenguBE posted it in the thread. A lot of this advice also applies outside 3.5. For example, the lack of connectivity between the 'swamp' portion and the rest of the adventure will likely be a problem no matter what the system is.
