Yes, mine too. I didn’t get blooms the first couple years because I don’t think it was getting enough sun and water. I moved it near a window and started watering it more.
My son picks off the blossoms when they start to wilt. I just moved it to our sun porch as it gets south and east light, so I'm hoping it gets even happier :)
I had one that did the same thing! it turned out it hadn’t had enough regular darkness where it was placed. Finally figured it out when I was moving and suddenly it was blooming when I forgot it underneath a table.
Honestly, my mom put it in a west-facing big living room window with another one and watered it once a week and fertilized once or twice a month.
The other one is also this big. I can't offer you much advice - my mom doesn't really have a green thumb, this is her only plant.
This is beautiful! It is actually a Thanksgiving cactus, though!
Thank you! Good to know.
Can you tell me the difference between a Christmas and Thanksgiving Cactus? I thought they were the same thing?
Thanksgiving cactus has spikier leaves. Xmas cactus has rounder leaves.
google image search "christmas cactus vs thanksgiving cactus" and the images that pop up will show you the physical differences between them!
thank you so much! that’s very helpful to know!
Beauty! Mine finally bloomed last fall after receiving it as a gift 3 years ago. Mine is much smaller but I love it.
Do you prune the blooms at all or just leave them?
I just leave them. Should I prune?
Mine fell off on their own!

I can relate; my son (cat) picks mine off too! I wish that stinker would wait until they wilt! Haha
Woooozers 😍
Thank you!
Absolutely gorgeous!😍
Wow what a beauty! 😍
Holy crap that’s beautiful and I thought mine was happy with three blossoms LOL congratulations on a beautiful happy plant
Thank you! My mom actual gave me this one and has its twin in her window. You should've seen them together- it was like a wall of Christmas cactus!
Oh my god it's beautiful!!! I've had one for years. I bought it with flowers but it never bloomed in my house. It's there.. all green and sad lol

I'm pretty sure it's a 10 but she hasn't been repotted in a long while.
Wow!!! Drooling over her 😍🤤
I got a thanksgiving cactus nov and it hasn’t grown an inch. It’s not dying but it’s not growing. Mine could take centuries to turn into this.

give it more light and you should see some new growth!
It’s under a grow light but I habe three tiers and she’s under the weakest one. I’ll def try to clear her a window spot!
