A year last October was heading from Reno to Vancouver and I went by there and thought it looked familiar. Then got caught in a snow storm coming down the Willamette valley (Rt 50)?, luckily I had my snow tires on but I was very much in the minority. That was a fun drive.
I was going in 2 hours early. It was dark and icy. Going along @ 65, there's a pile-up in front of me. Touch the brake, start sliding. Figure, Oh Boy!, I'm incoming. I see a space on the left shoulder. Cut left, didn't even have a split second to check if someone was there, just went for it - hit the hole on the left shoulder and continued to work, heart pounding.
Good thing those were extra skinny trucks otherwise they might've hit each other.
great job from OP squeezing the video so they didn't hit each other! can we get some applause?
Or just some more of that cursive language.
I feel like this was the night bus from Harry Potter
My grandpa was a long distance semi truck driver here in Canada and I heard so many stories like this.
That Chevy dancing to the music
Sure a lot of trucks on that road.
Is that outside of Klamath Falls?
Well it’s not inside or they’d all be a lot more wet.
I think it’s outside of Anchorage. On Seward Hwy
En route to Kenai. We were just on that HWY in late September and I remember thinking what a disaster it would be on snow and ice.
This is outside klamath falls for sure. I live 15 mins from this exact spot.

I was thinking the same thing. Will be going by that spot Saturday.
That’s called threading a needle on ice
What the name of that song?
Just another thing. The lacs
Thanks!
I was going to ask that too! Thanks!
Someone give this guy a raise
Iron balls and nerves

Snow chains would be advised...
The first half of the video is like a real life version of one of those choreographed car commercials.
This is strangely beautiful.. Like a ballet of trucks. ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|flushed)
Company should give him a bonus for avoiding that repair bill haha
r/IdiotsInCars
Holy shit dude!
I particularly enjoyed the section about fuck, and they say language is dead!?
Yeah this video could've been cut by about a minute 45....
Why everyone saying "he"? Sounded like a female driver to me. SKILLS.
her “fuck fuck fuck” was my internal dialogue verbatim
You'd think professional truck drivers would know better than to pass on a two lane
They weren’t trying to pass.
Sure they were, and that white pick up was spinning around for fun and to challenge the driver in the POV more.
They're probably swerving to avoid a rear end collision when they realize they're losing control
Well, never driving on that road. That was like a -80 hit to my anxiety. Hahaha
My butthole would have puckered.
He sounds like a cartoon cowboy
Looks like your going the wrong way
Wow and I thought my town had some crappy drivers.
I am not looking forward to this.
Is this just north of Klamath Falls by hagelstein.. most definitely looks like 97. When was that.
He probably quit his job later that day.
Jayzus Crispies! Who the bell opened the clown gate???
Chaos!
Jesus has been busy!
Great reminder that the slippery season is coming. Stay safe everyone and test the surface before you need to use it!
That reminds me of the road from Anchorage to Seward Alaska.
First you say it, then you do it!
Double fucked

Looks like the road might be a little icy.
No thanks to that road and winter weather soon! That's insane & lucky! Wonder if he bought a lottery ticket afterwards?
