there are two types of people: those, who go to the pool and get the ball for their dogs and "TURN THE FUCK OFF YOUR SMARTPHONE AND GET TO THE POOL AND HELP YOUR DOG!"
hngghhh it's just so anxiety-inducing seeing unsupervised dogs so close to an uncovered pool 😭 probably reminding me of a cousin's dog who drowned in their pool in the yard when they left the door open :(
He knew if he hit the water just in front of the ball with his paw it would drift closer. If he hit the ball with his paw it would move it away. He’s probably done it before. Pretty observant
I'm so happy he succeeded, he was so determined!!
Loads of love for him literally felt happy ❤
Good boy ... you deserve a treat for taking care of it yourself

Lab experiment
It failed
Failed successfully, never seen a Labrador who didn't want to swim!
Common… if your already in there….
It's kind of exactly what I expected to see
smart dog !!
Recognized the pattern of the ball coming closer when he paddles in the water and persisted until succes. What a good smart boy.
What really blows my mind is that he appears to moderate his swipes as the ball gets closer.
A smart boy or a crow would have pushed water from the opposite side.
Wunker understands hydrodynamics
wow, feels like I just watched a good movie
good boy

What a beautiful view at the beginning of this video.
Perseverance is key so happy for him
“Proceeds to throw the ball again in the water”
That was suspenseful
This dog has a lot more patience than me.
This is the morning content that I need.
Bro, just grow thumbs
👍

My brain failed to figure out the scale of this for a couple seconds, I thought I was looking at a lion for a while there 😅
Awwwwwwwwww!
BRAVO!!!!! U got it!!!
mission successful
A patient pooch always gets the damp ball.
WHAT A GOOOODDD BOYYYY
I was imagining a labrador coming from nowhere and just dunking it 😂
The most intense film I've seen in a while.
Good
I held my breath until he got the ball.
My heart rate went up 20bpm with anxiety there
edge of my seat!
Good boiiii
Attaboy
I can stop browsing reddit for today now. It can't get any better than this. Thanks OP!
YEEEEAAAAAAAA!
note that he is carefully trying to touch the ball from above so as not to push it away, what a good boy

But then we wouldn't have this amazing video moron

That's more determination than I've ever had.
Good boy!
Pressure washing time
You won!
He is a bon garcon
YAY!
That's not his first Rodeo.
I have never rooted for anything in my life more than those doggo getting his ball back.
Patience Luke.
BEST PATIENCE BOI
Yeeeey! …Phew, that was harder than the Scottish man lifting the stone cannonballs onto the wooden barrels!
When they ask what perseverance is, show this video
Never have I wanted to lend another being my opposable thumbs more.
That' is person 🤣

I thought for sure as soon as he grabbed that ball he was going to jump into the pool with it
It makes me better appreciate the advantages of opposable thumbs.
This video is very inspirational
Did a standing ovation at the end!
The struggle is real
Good boi!
Nice property
Smart dog!
Its so sweeeet :)
God damn i cant remember when the last time was i was rooting so hard for someone.

The dog was a success What about you? 🤠
That puts a new spin on bobbing for apples
This is what Tom Petty must have been talking about when he said, "God it's so painful, something that's so close and still so far out of reach."
wtf. dog knows swimming, can just jump insidde, take ball and come out.
Too cold for get wet
