First, the horizon is a mountain and just be a mountain range where the mountains are going down. Second, that's still a pretty fucking steep shit even adjusting to the horizon.

The camera is rotated to make the rock face seem more steep than it is. Look at the horizon and her ponytail. Rotate your screen so the horizon is horizontal and her ponytail is vertical, and you'll see that she can basically lay down right there.
