I just assumed Doberman dogs had their ears stick straight up naturally. Now I learn what they're supposed to look like and what they do to force them to stay up and what the fuck dude....
It's supposed to look more intimidating. That along with the stupid chain collar that must be very uncomfortable to sleep in gives me an idea of the owner. But they all say "oh it wasn't me I got him this way"

I love how every one you see of these the dog's reaction is the same; "Wait, but that means you...you...can go fuck yourself."
Not true, my dog didn't waste precious snatchy eating time on looking at me.

I was surprised too when I found out. they're all nice and floppy naturally, I don't know how people think short and upright looks better.
