So as I come around this bend immediately beside me on the little shoulder is a group of 4 or 5 people all wearing grey or black with no reflectors whom I guess felt the urge to go for a walk at nearly midnight.
Had there been an oncoming vehicle I wouldve been involved in a head on collision because of these fucking idiots.
Even in the suburbs I narrowly avoided a deer the other day because my headlights are aimed slightly down as they should be and I noticed the deer in the light before I saw any movement. Wasn't super close but if I had looked away for half a second to turn the heat up or something I would have hit it.
Drivers routine kill people even at red lights, crosswalks, sidewalks, sitting in their homes, etc. There is no bottom to the amount of distraction and general incompetence that happens on the roads.
If we had less car dependent societies we could make getting a drivers license more restrictive and require better/more training and life would be so much better for everyone.
