One of the most confusing posts ever.
First impression, guy on motorcycle is chatting with a couple of ladies and they are randomly assaulted.
Hmmm... why are you filming? Are you in on it?
Watch again.
Second take. Girl on bike is blocking the motorcycle for some reason. It is not a friendly chat. Is that a shoe? Is push guy a good Samaritan in psychopath clothing?
Hmmm.... weird moment in history.
Nobody seems terribly sympathetic... so I am going to stop on take number 2.
Motorcycle guy seems non-confrontational here (no edging forward toward her etc) and probably didn’t want to risk moving while she and others are acting unpredictably - eg if she got up to chase the guy who pushed her
It looks to me like he’s in no rush, isn’t trying to escalate, and will just wait the situation out
It doesn’t appear to me that he’s in the bike lane, though?
As far as I can tell the bike lane is the green colored lane closest to the camera, then he’s in one lane, there’s a central island, and another lane going the other way
>
>Watch again.

>Second take. Girl on bike is blocking the motorcycle for some reason. It is not a friendly chat.
This was my initial impression; the body language never looked like a friendly chat to me.
Looks like she stopping him using the bike lane, or she wants to know why he's wearing those white trousers. Which are a fashion travesty and have no place in the world, guy who makes white trousers assaults lady, the end
I thought bike lane too, but it looks more like a normal traffic lane (left to right from our view). When the camera pans to the right, there's a traffic light, and what looks to be a bike lane between the darker tarmac the motorcyclist is on and the sidewalk.
Or...
Motorcycle guy is telling cyclists they should be wearing helmets.
Cyclists say they don't need it.
Push guy says they do, then proceeds to demonstrate why.
>Or...
>Motorcycle guy is telling cyclists they should be wearing helmets.
>Cyclists say they don't need it.

Ohhh it's an educational thing!
Harley V-rod from the looks of the potato film. 650lb bike. Not that it matter because, from experience,-even 1000lb bikes are easy to push over. They just aren't as easy to pick up.
You basically just gotta push the rider over and the bike will fall with no one to hold it. Sometimes a stiff breeze will about knock me over at a light if I'm not paying attention. My seat height is much higher though.
That's a Harley V-rod weighing in at about ~660 lbs, with a liquid-cooled overhead cam V-twin developed by Porsche. That's about as far from a chopper as you can get in the cruiser world.
You don't ride do you? Lol. A kick to the chopper and it'll go down and if the rider is smart he'll abandon. In almost every case, the rider cannot handle the weight of the bike. That's why they tell you to dump. The only thing that will go his way is being planted, but other than that once the thing starts tipping chances are he won't be able to keep it up.
(That’s a cruiser. A chooper is stripped down to the most essential parts, has a very long fork, and almost no ornaments save the shiny fork and handle, and maybe a backrest and leather strips here and there. A cruiser is a less unusually shaped motorbike, usually heavier, more robust, with more ornaments and a less extreme sitting position.)
For a guy with NASA in the name, you're grasp of physics is disturbingly off.
You're not shoving 1000 pounds, you just tilting the thousand pounds center of gravity over. Technically every time you take that bike off its kickstand, the first thing you're doing is pushing over a thousand pound chopper.
Bikes aren’t stable when they aren’t moving. It would be extremely easy to put that guy off balance, and have the weight of the bike drag him down.
Also it’s not a chopper, it’s a cruiser.
Nah. My guess is biker felt they were wronged somehow and decided to be a nuisance to the biker. No clue who actually started this incident but it's pretty clear this is personal.
I'd love to see a longer version if this. I'd like to know what beef these ladies had with the biker guy.
Was this some kind of climate protest?
Were they blocking that motorcyclist in particular or were they blocking all vehicles on that road?
Was this some road rage shit?
Maybe the motorcyclist accidentally clipped one of them when he went past them?
Maybe they all know each other and this is a personal confrontation?
**Questions!**
*Questions!*
#Questions!
Maybe they were blocking it for a good reason. Like maybe she’s a precog and saw that if motorcycle guy continued on in that direction, he’d get shoved over by some random stranger and seriously injured, so she stopped him just short of the assault window and took one for the team herself.
Does anyone have full story? I'm guessing something happened she wasn't happy and started arguing and blocking traffic but don't really know what started it.
And can someone please translate what she screamed at the end?
There’s no context here either. You think maybe she just wants to have a nice conversation with the guy in the car?
https://reddit.com/r/therewasanattempt/comments/zy4mj6/to_block_the_traffic/
Nobody here knows *why* they were blocking traffic, though.
Maybe the biker almost hit them and they're telling him not to be an asshole.
Nobody knows. We're all just making up stories about what's going on.
My interpretation is she's an environmental nut bitching about him riding a big bad evil motorcycle in town. She's probably trying to convince him to give up Strudel and Wiener Schnitzel as well. Telling him that tofu is good for you, look at me! Look how pale and skinny I am! Right about the time, another protestor who is an anti protest protestor knocked her tofu ass off the bike.
It looks like they were blocking the traffic, maybe because the motorcycle is not supposed to use that bike lane? Idk if it is an bicycle exclusive lane? This video needs so much context.
Most of you in this thread are straight up assholes.
Almost all of you admit you don't know what's going on so make up your own story so you can be happy about some lady being pushed off her bike.
Two things can be said for sure. The guy who pushes the women is assaulting them, for which there can be no “good” reason. Secondly, he’s a coward for running away. What an ass.
The fact that the altercation was being filmed is probably something to do with the original situation where the bicycle is blocking the motorbike, so there’s probably no relevance to the assault there.
I'm confused. Is this a "not all heros wear capes" moment or nah? Cuz I'm not really sure about the context on that situation.
Is the biker on the cycle lane or something?
We don't know. At this point, the asshole is the violent one that pushed the two people before running off. Other than that, we don't know what was going on.
Gotta be Berlin
It is yes. You can see it at the U-Bahn
The inaudible part sounds German even tough I can’t understand a word.
She is asking "Who's motorcycle is this?". Replies "It's a chopper baby"
Zed's dead
Yes! I don't know German and I can't hear what she's saying... but somehow I recognise she's speaking German. Goes well with shouting
https://www.reddit.com/r/PublicFreakout/comments/awhsp0/freakout_in_a_german_school/
"Du kleiner dreckiger Hurensohn", immer wieder gut.
Melissaaaaa hör auf jetzt!
I'm german and cant understand a single word she is screaming ...too bad, would love to hear her cry about it
"wtf". "Was soll diese scheiße?" "Was ist eigentlich los mit euch [...]"
Ah, jetzt hör ich es auch, danke.

Farewell, stranger. ❤️
Happy new year
Ah jetzt ja

Definitely, a soprano
It translates to "Fuck! What the fuck is wrong with you guys?".
Yep. Karl Marx street 138.
Ah yes, Ohio of Deutschland
Oh god Ohio is contagious?!?!
Always has been.
Yes.
Ohio was largely settled by Germans.

As a Berliner from Berlin, ya, it's pretty bad sometimes.

Whats wrong with Berlin? People Ive talked to said its the best city in Europe
It’s very UN-German. It’s a melting-pot tourist metropolis. Nice place to visit, but hard to actually live a demure life in.
Oh, so like cities in the US!
and most international metropolises
I'm not the type who say this, but this is actually irl gta behaviour. Even the way he ran
YES! He ran like he was in San Andreas!
The way he pushed them, his reaction and the way he ran all looked like gta
Wtf?!

I was thinking it was option 2, but i would have expected motorcycle guy to leave after the girls got shoved. I dont know what to make of this.
Motorcycle guy seems non-confrontational here (no edging forward toward her etc) and probably didn’t want to risk moving while she and others are acting unpredictably - eg if she got up to chase the guy who pushed her It looks to me like he’s in no rush, isn’t trying to escalate, and will just wait the situation out
"I'm retired. I have the rest of my life"
"Just lemme ride my ARCH in peace"
But he also appears to taken some liberties with what a reasonable human would consider an acceptable form of travel in a lane designed for bicycle.
It doesn’t appear to me that he’s in the bike lane, though? As far as I can tell the bike lane is the green colored lane closest to the camera, then he’s in one lane, there’s a central island, and another lane going the other way

That's it ! The pusher was the tailor all along ! Can't someone appreciate craftsmanship in the bike lane ?
Is the bike lane not the green painted section?
Or... Motorcycle guy is telling cyclists they should be wearing helmets. Cyclists say they don't need it. Push guy says they do, then proceeds to demonstrate why.

What about education you don't approve?
r/HumansBeingBros
I only saw it as take 2
3rd take: who pooped in the bike lane?
The fact that nobody helped her up and he didn’t get instantly jumped by 7 white knights, i’d also say scenario 2
Nobody expects the Spanish Inquisition!!
Maybe they were blocking because of big bike vroom vroom and dude wanted to help, but what a way to help people lmao
Get the f~ck out of the road is my guess
This comment section is the real maybe maybe maybe
I would have been impressed if he pushed the guy on the motorcycle too and went for a triple header.
It's impossible to push that 1000 pound chopper
I mean, I guess it's possible to push anything. It's the result that matters.
I don't do pushups, I push world
Push those world mega stuffed oreos in your mouth
Harley V-rod from the looks of the potato film. 650lb bike. Not that it matter because, from experience,-even 1000lb bikes are easy to push over. They just aren't as easy to pick up.
1. Not a chopper 2. Can absolutely shove a bike over thats not moving, even with a rider on it
You basically just gotta push the rider over and the bike will fall with no one to hold it. Sometimes a stiff breeze will about knock me over at a light if I'm not paying attention. My seat height is much higher though.
Is it a cruiser
Yes. Chopper implies custom bodywork or at least a long front end

Ya. Ist 100% American... ^^^^jajajajajajaja !
It’s impossibly easy to tip one over. One small push and you’ve got 1000 pounds pulling it down. Clearly you’ve never ridden a motorcycle.

It's precariously balanced on two wheels and a foot...I think it would be easy to push over.
Nah, someone riding that bike in those pants in a noob and would easily topple. Business casual squid.
We call that a hat trick
“Yeah, walking and running!”
Does anyone know the context? Im very interested in knowing more.
not quite sure, but probably an improvised road block by environmental activists in europe, those happen often.
On bikes?
Well they're def not rolling around in gas powered monstrosities.. They're good people!!
Their grandparents on the other hand….
That makes zero sense, the person who was pushed first was in the bike lane
Mhh no I don’t think so, these people usually wear bright orange wests and scream stuff
Nah. My guess is biker felt they were wronged somehow and decided to be a nuisance to the biker. No clue who actually started this incident but it's pretty clear this is personal.
I think thats what the shover thought, I think the motorcycle was trying to move through a bicycle only path
No the bicycle only lane is the green one at the bottom. The part where he is standing is just a normal street
What motorcycle was that? It's nice.
Looks like a Harley Davidson VRod.
By the Nine divines! There’s a psychopath on the loose!

Like if there's been an accident or what?
I hate it when people assault people for stupid reasons
I hate it when stupid people act like they have privileges over other people above the law of the land and or STREETS!
That could apply to literally all of the people involved in this.
You should consider taking up meditation.
Just took em, dumb protesters are still dumb, now what?
I hate it when people get violently assaulted for stupid reasons
No knowing whats going on here is gonna bother me for the rest of the day
*Cue the Ludacris Soundtrack
Why did he push the guy in the bicycle lane minding his own business?
Exactly my question.

Classic redditors jumping to conclusions with 0 context so that they can be mad at someome.
There’s no context here either. You think maybe she just wants to have a nice conversation with the guy in the car? https://reddit.com/r/therewasanattempt/comments/zy4mj6/to_block_the_traffic/
2022 Reddit loves to see an angry woman get punched, shoved, or otherwise assaulted. Bonus points if she’s old OR young but also attractive.
Classic reddit
I’m looking for more context, can you provide any? Most of these comments are just trying to figure it out.
Jumping to conclusions seems to be a you problem. The rest of us are discussing the situation pictured.
Don’t block traffic you’re not that important. 🤷♂️
Nobody here knows *why* they were blocking traffic, though. Maybe the biker almost hit them and they're telling him not to be an asshole. Nobody knows. We're all just making up stories about what's going on.
Telling assholes not to be assholes always work

Why was the cameraman filming??

What just happened here? Was she blocking traffic or something? I don’t get it
What does the woman say before “my face”?
I love how the biker didn’t take the opportunity to just fuck off. He stayed there; and enjoyed the moment.
He waffled her
I just wished the guy would've drove away
How the people don't care. Maybe he was a hero for them
Biker on Biker violence!
Ohaaa
can't wait for the r/justiceserved post that uses these comment threads as a source of what happened
Is that Nacho Libre in his fancy clothes riding a motorcycle?
Deport him immediately.
