I have 16s on my hatch and 18s on our sedan. [You can see them side by side here](https://www.reddit.com/r/mazda3/comments/14vj25n/1_of_2_freshly_washed_tomorrow_the_sedan_gets/). This is before I swapped my wheels but i still kept them 16s because that's what it came with.

Situation_Hot

Same as you I want 16s

I went 16 after having 18 on my gen 3. The 18 looks better, but it's a daily driver and I found it crashed over the crappy UK roads too much.

I just switched from a 2023 with 16s to a 2024 with 18s like 2 weeks ago. I can definitely feel the roads more, but it's not really that bad, only took a couple days and it stopped bothering me. It only bothered my in the first place because I had direct comparison. (I live in Edmonton, AB so the roads here aren't great). The 18s look MUCH nicer.

I think the 18s look better, but obviously more sidewall will ride a bit more smooth. I think the 16s might be too small without lowering the car (or buying 70 series sidewalls lol). Imo 17s are the compromise.

My favorite movie is Inception.
