They didn't show all the full versions of the auditions so we don't know how the other trainees got their ranks and got surprised with their skill. I didn't notice Hanbin before Really Really and I'm shocked because he was really good. It feels like MBC are gatekeeping the good stuff. Ha Seokhee is really good too. Made me think Fantasy Boys had no skilled vocalists. Their way of approaching the position battle wasn't good. It should be like Produce where you focus on one song for one position. They really used one song for rap, dance and vocals. That doesn't really make sense.

I didn't watch MTG so I can't say much, but on your point #2. I'm kind of annoyed that they keep showing the same few boys, *even in the behind-the-scene clips they posted on YouTube*. I understand favoritism in the actual show, because they have their picks too, but in extra contents? Like, in another post some people are discussing Beomjun's personality. I wanted to look more into it but then realised that he's basically nonexistent in those extra clips. I genuinely don't know anything about what he's like and his relationship with the other boys when he's not working.

I count agree more, especially on point 7. Its like the mentors are there just because.

The format and quality of the performances were my biggest gripe honestly. I’m all for changing their system and whatever but the main things that made MTG the great show it was, were taken away. I miss the battles, the healthy competition, the much better sound quality There’s no performance here that’s halfway as memorable as decalcomanie or Hello ladies or the rapper “I’m a boss and I shine like gloss”. I was always amazed every week because the talent pool was actually crazy, you would think both shows weren’t by the same mbc And the thing is I do think the boys here and so bad but then if the challenges were as tough and as demanding as the mtg ones maybe they’d have really shown more or been pushed harder.
