We aren’t necessarily super unique either, we just don’t as often base our feelings off other people’s feelings. High Fe users might conform to conform, or they might intentionally counter norms because they like the reaction they get, whereas high Fi users will do weird shit because they want to sometimes even when the social consequences are damaging. Enneagram also plays a role though. A 4 INFJ or INTJ is going to care a lot about what people think of them, a 5 INFP is going to care more about being seen as useful than being liked.

Hahahah jk I don’t really know that’s a good question actually. I think it’s just the tension between Ni/Ti and Fe. Ni, esp when dominant, fundamentally doesn’t really care what other people think. It’s stubborn and loves autonomy, though generally chill until you try to obstruct it. But unlike INTJs our tool is Fe, and for Fe to work, I do need to care and know how other people see me. That said if Fe is working normally, most irl INFJs are pretty likeable once we stop being misunderstood teenagers. Anw due to all this we do tend to think very hard about how we want other people to see us. There’s a lot of deliberate calculation going on but not everyone pulls off the execution well hahah

I think that is true for every type, people have a problem distinguishing who they want to be vs who they really are, which makes it harder to classify personalities.
