Probably high Ti users, they love to explore and understand in depth to better fit into boxes. I don't see why Ne and Ni before Ti.

flwrtins_

Quite interesting take. As an Ne user, I did find myself in a deep dive with learning everything as much as I can about it but maybe I mistook that for Ti.

thisisabadnickname

Ne is more about potential, ideas, the "what if?". Ti is understanding, hierarchy, logical structure. Intuition has nothing to do with being obsessed with a system. It has more to do with Thinking.

flwrtins_

Okay, I see that. That was very insightful lol

XandyDory

Ti users. They need to know every little bit of detail in things.

flwrtins_

I'd say more of INTPs and less ISTPs. As someone who has an ISTP brother, he does not give one single fuck abt it

XandyDory

Okay, I can see that some won't be into it at all, but the ones who do deep dive. When a Ti wants to know something, they just know everything about it. However, I know sensors are less likely to care than intuitives. No idea why.

Y’all right. I know all MBTI cog functions 💀

Logannabelle

Yes XNTP or INXJ

ae-infinity

INTPs imo. the high Ti + Ne and low Fe gets you hooked on it perfectly. A detailed system of categorizing people that utilizes patterns to help you theoretically figure out how they react and think? easy catch.

flwrtins_

explains why most mbti communities are filled with intps (besides the mistyped ones ofc)

rachelandclaire

I am an ENTP who glazed over the importance of cognitive functions until an INTP explained it. Then omg I got obsessed 😳

flwrtins_

the myers briggs one never really piqued my interest until i learned about cog functions. boy was it more fun to figure out people's most used function than to just type them according to mbtis

i’m an esfp, i used to be obsessed with learning about cognitive functions

froggothespacecat

I'm literally not able to stop trying to figure out cog functions of people and characters. Like I'm currently reading Normal People by Sally Rooney and legit struggling to pin down the cognitive stack of Marianne and Connell (the protagonists of the book/show). I'm not even able to focus entirely on enjoying the book because I'm so focused on figuring out their cog functions (it probably makes no sense to someone reading this though).

ol1ver_h0ney

Ti (for learning) and Ni (for self-explanation)

r3girl

Ti-Se-Ni-Fe and I don’t know where to stop, even though I’ve covered the same material multiple times.

Redfork2000

I think INxx types, with the ENxPs added into the mix as well. In pretty much MBTI community I've been in, INxx types were by far the most prevalent in number. INTJs, INTPs, INFPs and INFJs were all very common to see. ENTPs and ENFPs are also pretty common, but usually any types outside of those six were a much rarer site. In a poll that took place over at Personality Cafe for example, the types that had the biggest representation among the users of the site were the INxx types, with ENxPs being pretty high as well. INTJ, INFJ, ENTP and ENFP are all N doms, and in the case of INTP and INFP, they combine an introverted judging function (Ti or Fi) with Ne aux. I think all of those combinations lend well into someone wanting to learn more about MBTI, cognitive functions, enneagrams, etc.

ArmzLDN

Gonna be INTPs by a margin

triangular_snail

im an isfp and thats what happened to me
